  1. Been booted off several times this evening in the last hour and now I'm getting either a login service unavailable error or able to log in only to see a blank server list. Any one else encountering similar issues?
  2. Odd... they must like and play Diablo 3 cause I've had no connections issues at all as of late over there... Guess it's back to Diablo until all this blows over.
  3. Guild Name: Galactic Slave Traders Faction: Imperial Focus: PvE, Progression Raiding, PvP, Conquest Website: http://www.gst.enjin.com Notes: An 18+ only guild, we are a smaller tight-knit guild with currently about 45-50 active members, a accepting and diverse bunch though. We are actively recruiting and accepting new members. Our membership includes players from Germany, England, Denmark, all across the US and even a couple Aussies and New Zealanders. We come from all backgrounds and walks of life, and as such we accept you as you are. We do not tolerate drama, and place the biggest emphasis on enjoying each other and having a good time. About 3/4 of our members have been playing SWTOR since before 2.0 and many of us have more than a decade of experience in MMOs dating as far back as the good old days of EQ 1. We have an extensive wealth of knowledge about all specs in the game and are more than willing to share it with new players. We also have several members serving our membership as Guild Artisans and can craft everything gearwise to get you end game ready that you might want or need. If you're interested in finding out more, please visit the website and apply, or search Slave Traders in game chat and strike up a convo with any of us. GM: Blackfrost Guild Name: No Disintegration Faction: Republic Focus: PvP, PvE, Conquest, GSF, Progression Raiding, Social Website: N/A Notes: No Disintegration is a large, all ages, open enrollment guild with a global membership. Players of all skill levels are welcome as we are more than happy to share our knowledge to help you grow in SWTOR. We are a very social, amicable group of people that have a great time no matter what we are playing, be it PvP, FPs, World Heroics, leveling grinds, SM and Progression operations, or GSF. The guild is pretty active averaging 20-30 members online during peak hours. Even in the wee hours of the morning there are usually several people on. Contact any online members with inquiries about joining. ND currently has one progression team and is looking for interested players in establishing a second team. Contact Lorac or Pop for further details if interested. GM: Yashayahu, Pop, Udon, Lorac

  5. And the seemingly indifferent approach to resolving them in a timely and consistent matter... Before reading the letter where I have it linked below, understand please that I mean this to be taken by the dev team and EA's management team as a challenge by a loyal player of almost 3 years to greatly improve this game. It has been steadily going downhill the last year and I hate seeing the game that is the alternative to many for "That Game That Shall Not Be Mentioned" becoming worse than what many MMO players loathe. trust in our faith as SW fans and fans of this game to stay by rising to the occasion and rewarding that loyalty with a game that rekindles our passion as MMO players and SW fans... because let's be honest... it's been 15 months and counting since we received new content in the form of flashpoints and operations and no news of anything new in sight. This game is getting very stale in lieu of this. https://www.facebook.com/notes/sean-hartsel/an-open-letter-to-ea-and-bioware-austin/10153195701571572
  6. Agreed, but I will accept oreos instead of a fruitcup, lol.
  7. I've heard some people talk of starting a petition to see if BioWare would be willing to eventually make the 12x xp boost an unlockable legacy perk similar to the field respec where it's there if you want to buy it, but you don't have to. That's something I would support. Not everyone likes tearing through planets and with some of the class storylines I wouldn't want to do so... but at the same time I find some of the class storylines to be a drudging monotony and would love to be able to burn straight through them.
  8. Larger PvP guilds like Triumph and Wook from The Shadowlands generally have about 30 to 50 members that are active daily... and most seem to be on for about 2.5 to 3 hours. PvP guilds of course will go for a planet that gives them a PvP bonus which seems like it will be 1,000 ppm + the individual player's Stronghold bonus. On average for most people that seems to be about 15-20% so far. We'll therefore assume this example being as such, 40 players with an average SH bonus of 15% and the double down from a planet the favors PvP gets you 1,150 points per match, per player. 40 x 1150 = 46,000. multiply that by an average of 10 matches played... 460K per day just for completing the warzones.... And I would venture to say that's a very conservative number judging from how Triumph was knocking of the door of 5mil points and Wook was at about 4.25mil after 2 1/2 days when I logged off before going to work last night. I think you're naively understating the dedication the larger pvp guilds have to their craft as well as the amount of time they play... and the impact that has when you consider that PvE guilds can only run an op once per week, per toon, and heroics once per day, per toon.
  9. I think you're misunderstanding the grievance that a lot of us have with the way BioWare is addressing conquest point scaling. The beef is that the majority of players and guilds, probably 85% or better, are PvE. The way things are tiered with Conquest points and the task lockouts is heavily favoring PvP guilds at the moment and that is the beef the majority of people, myself included have. I play on The Shadowlands, and Old Republic Dads, Triumph, and Wook, all predominately PvP guilds, are proving the validity of the complaints being voiced here in that they are ahead of the PvE guilds competing against them on the leaderboards by a large margin. If they want to nerf PvE questing rewards, it's only fair to do so for the PvE guilds if they do the same for the PvP quest rewards by having a daily cap placed on them allowing a similar maximum amount of points to be earned per day. Else wise, they need to segregate the Conquest planets by offering planets that will only be available to and benefit PvE and PvP related guilds respectively. Or just trash the whole planetary conquest system... no wait... they're already doing a great job of that...
