  1. /bump for the hope of a fix or a statement....eta? :/
  2. I haven't been able to play for the past 3 days now due to delays so I know the feels. It's almost Tuesday though so lets all cross our fingers and beg the devs to fix it lol.
  3. The delay in skills has become so bad for me on Harby I can't even play :< I hope they get this sorted soon.
  4. That would be lovely! At least until they can patch it properly. Myself and 4 guildies can't even move on planets without being teleported back to where we were or skills have like a 10second delay D:
  5. Yeah I've given up even trying to log in at this point. I'm surprised there hasn't been an emergency patch yet to address this or even gold post comment on it.
  6. I'm glad it wasn't my imagination then or my rig lol. I can't even do the heroics that aren't instances at this point due to skill delay :/ bring in the cleanup crew please BioWare!
  7. I noticed since patch day the bodies of dead npcs simply do not despawn or are taking much much longer to despawn which is causing piles upon piles of bodies and producing lag I think. I've never had issues with frames in this game til I get around all these bodies everywhere. Then players just disappear in front of me or my companion acts like it's not summoned when the game assures me it is. Anyone else notice things going derp from the bodies polluting the worlds?
  8. When asking for the detailed info why is the amount of presence buff from legacy not requested? I mean it does ultimately play a role in how well your companion does compared to someone else (especially since you can't gear them). Example: A friend of mine new to the game, and myself, made new lvl 1 characters to test my thoughts on presence. My friend being new has no legacy unlocks for presence no datacrons, just the basic presence from the influence lvl. I have all Imperial class unlocks/human/one Rep class/and about 10 datacrons. We used the same class (agent) with Kaliyo to heal us. Now we were lvl 9 when we obtained her so only a handful of skills and no real gear to speak of. I was perfectly capable of killing mobs without the threat of dying even a little bit. My friend on the other hand wasn't having such an easy time as his companion couldn't keep up with elites damage (note this elite is part of the story quest and not in a heroic zone). We did more testing by going out and getting them some datacrons with their free 60 and came back to try the test again with much better results. I strongly think the concept of presence/influence really needs to be looked at as a whole thing and not separate from the companions baseline skills themselves. These are of course only my personal thoughts and should be taken with a grain of salt, but the experiments we tried really surprised me by how much of a difference the legacy buffs made. Personally the nerf hasn't changed anything for me as a healer with dps companion outside of my daily activity content I enjoyed doing now takes me much longer when compared to before the nerf. I was really enjoying farming my alliance boxes on several alts and trying to get my mount from SF. Now it just feels more like a chore than it needs to and added no challenge for me personally. (I know some people are struggling but I can only speak for myself here) I'm not saying the nerf was not needed, but I think the companions need bumped up just a little bit to bring back in the alt/new player friendly state you opened the expansion with.
  9. I agree with you OP. I was horrified reading the forums while patching but once I got in and did several tests the game seems fine to me. Granted I'm slightly annoyed that heroics take me a bit longer as a healer with dps companion, but it's certainly not impossible. Overall I'd like to see a tiny buff to them like -maybe- 10% and that's a big maybe, and only based on my opinion that my daily activities take longer now. Yes I know 4.0 spoiled me with heroic speed, but farming boxes on alts isn't exactly friendly at this point. Anyways have a good day
  10. Your entire post was good however this bit addresses issues for some of my friends that came to chill and play with me. They were still learning the game, getting comfy in their classes and now they've become so discouraged that a group of normal mobs almost kills them when they have gear on par (still lvling not hit max yet). I don't look for them to stick around given the lvl of discouragement. Myself, I feel like a derp for wasting all the effort to get Senya to rank 50 because her damage/time to kill a normal elite is the same as my rank 10 Lana. (both dps as I'm a healer). The time it takes to complete a task for me has been increased which is annoying to say the least. No challenge has been added for me personally, it's only made things more time consuming. The companions needed to be tweaked, totally agree. But I don't think it needed to be as much as it is. I seen some posters saying things like "oh you just need to get your legacy presence up" yeah but why should new people coming into the game that have no knowledge of said buff be made to feel like they can't complete content? I hope the dev team can find some common ground and sort it out a bit. I'm holding on to the hope of that for now. I can't speak for my friends but the morale between them is extremely low.
  11. I wouldn't say 'garbage' but I think the nerf was a bit much. I play as a healer so all this nerf has done for me is make my daily activities take 25% longer with my dps companion. The nerf did not add the 'challenge' people were saying would come with them being nerfed, just made it more time consuming which isn't fun.
  12. What quests are you referencing? There is only two quests for the alliance system that requires pvp and they are 100% optional, you need to only speak to them to unlock the next bit of the chain for Lokin after Qyzen. Now these quests are 1 for each faction, so where are you coming up with 4 pvp forced quests? No need to repeat you don't like pvp, I get it, I want to know specifically what alliance quest you are referencing (quest names) to reach the conclusion you have of the pvp crowd being catered to.
  13. Every major schematic requires some form of sliced tech part, allowing people to just pick what they want would cause the market for the sliced parts to not exist at all due to the flood. My opinion on the issue doesn't matter but I prefer it the way it is.
  14. 1. Working as intended. 2. You have to run ops/heroics/fps/RE stuff to get the 64/65 schematics for the mods etc. Also the gathering skills are fine, you made the choice not to go out to lvl them and instead purchased the mats to lvl your crafting. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=715016 I assume you mean armormech and they have gear ready to be made at 64 and RE to 65 as does synthweaving. Mods/enhancements don't work that way.
  15. I agree. I also like how your companion (particularly the original ones) have combat dialog based on their current role. Super cute hearing Talos in tank lol.
