  1. These tactics only work under curtain situations, and require teamwork. However, the movement impairing immunity works independently, and like I said before, works under every circumstance.
  2. Most worthless post. First off all, every situation you described only works is rare circumstances. It isn't very often a enemy is in front of you to force push and then force leap, and the same can be said about intercede, sometimes your ally isn't there. So it is clear those tactics are very situational, while a BH/Trooper movement impairing immunity works in every situation, and you don't need a target strategically placed to accomplish the same goal. So once again, come back when you have something with actual value to add.
  3. Go away, and come back with something constructive. This has nothing to do with class balance between other classes. It has everything to do with the fact the only thing that keeps people from scoring has been taken away in Huttball...
  4. Im getting really tired of how easy it is for BH/Troopers to literally walk into the goal because of their ability to be immune to movement impairings.
  5. I just want to start off saying I enjoy playing this game. However, on the current server I'm on (jedi covenant) imps literally lose 90% of their random ques. From what I hear, WZ are extremely one-sided on a lot of servers, not just on jedi covenant. I know in games like Warhammer Online they too had a problem with scenarios (their version of a WZ) to be one-sided as well. Even in World of Warcraft before the cross-servers, Battlegrounds used to be favor either the horde or alliance depending on the server you are playing on. After cross-server were introduced, BGs seemed to balance out in WoW, and que times were even quicker for lower pop servers. I didn't make this thread to convince people the benefits of cross-server ques. I made this thread in hopes to get a responds from BW to see if they have plans for cross-server pvp ques, or if someone out there is willing to share proof that BW is working on such a tool.
  6. If you continue to read, you wouldn't be able to heal all the time, and healing wouldn't be as effective.
  7. and the only thing either of you showed, is how much of an *** both of you are.
  8. I think Bioware needs to rethink how pvp should work. Right now you have healers and tanks who are only support roles in pvp. I think they need buff the dps across the board. Healer, tank, and dps need the damage to their attacks increased. You can help counter this by also buffing defensive CDs, but increase the length of time it takes for CDs to be ready again. I don't think tanks or healer are worthless by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, it is the opposite. One tank and two healers seems to the to most optimal build for pvp. This really shouldn't happened. The way how pvp is now it makes tanks and healers more viable than a dps class. It is really screwy when a healer with guard can do a better job at tanking in pvp then an actual tank. If dps is boosted for everyone, then I believe you will see people taking on a more offensive approach to the game. I think healing should only come in short bursts, and in-between those bursts healers can spend their time dpsing, and their damage being only slightly less effective as an actual DPS.
  9. Ok, lets put it this way. The majority of players want a bolster system. You don't want a bolster system, so therefore you are the minority. You aren't going to get your way as long as there is still more people who want a bolster system as oppose to it. To say the bolster system will kill the game is a lie. Since most players enjoy the bolser system, removing it would kill the game quicker than leaving it in. If you don't like it than ****, go play something else. Just because you spent a few mins to make a thread doesn't mean there is any actual value to what you have to say. /thread.
  10. This might not be guild wars 2, but that doesn't mean a simpler system isn't what people want. For months I have seen people complain about the gap between recruit and War Hero. Now that bioware has actually done something about it, those with War Hero are complaining about how they aren't OP anymore. I support the direction Bioware is going, and hope they stay clear away from the old system. Also, judging from your post, all your experience is based of pre-55 pvp. If you took the time to actually read some of the article, and interviews the swtor team has done, then you would know there is still end-game pvp gear which will give an advantage over those who are only been bolstered, but the advantage is small; only a 1-3% increase, and not the retarded 20-50% increase we have seen before. If you want such a huge advantage, then go play wow.
  11. I just want to point out a few things. 1. The TTK is high right now because it is pre-55 and a lot of people still haven't caught on that gear with expertise is worthless. 2. Bioware has already release the stats for end-game pvp gear. The bolster system is still there for 55, but there is pvp gear that you can work for which will give you and advantage. However, the advantage is small, only 1-3% increase.
  12. 1. I took all the custom gear I had in my bank and put that on instead. So no, I wasn't completely naked. 2. It would be laughable if you truly needed to be naked, but you can easily take out the mods in custom gear and don't need to be naked anymore. 3. Is this your first MMO? Usually when an expansion launches all gear becomes obsolete. Bioware just so happened to make that occur sooner than everyone was expected.
  13. I just want to start off saying that I'm in the same boat as a lot of you. I spent past couple of months getting full augmented War Hero for my characters. Though the way how the bolster system is currently working wasn't expected, Im still not to worried about it because I came to terms with the fact that all my gear will become obsolete anyway. I am also surprised at what the new bolster system brought with it. Because the bolster made War Hero worthless everyone now seems to be on equal footing, and as a result, the last few games I just had were the best games I have done in a long time. No longer was I losing most of my games by solo queing. The most recent games I have done have been very enjoyable, and close to being ties. These result have put high hopes for pvp in the future.
  14. I'm sure it has been proposed before, but I was wondering if a que for pugs only be better then just removing groups entirely from the random que. That way if someone wanted to be qued up for a random chance of being matched against a pug or pre-made, they still can. I really don't have a opinion on the matter of pre-made vs pug. I really don't think pre-mades are ruining the game or anything like that. I just wanted to hear all of your opinions.
  15. Most of the time when you compete and progress through something (whatever that maybe), the more difficult that thing becomes. It is the opposite for a MMO. When you compete and progress in a MMO it actually gets easier instead of harder. The reason for this is because you are given better gear then the other guys, and you are essentially given a handicap against anyone who doesn't have competitive gear. Swtor has taken this same system to the extreme. In some cases people in War Hero have twice as many stats as those in recruit. Now you can say its fair because those who have been working on their War Hero gear were in the same boat, and the time you spend getting the gear is part of the competition. However how about those who have gone through the WH grind and want to play their alts? Should the be penalized because they wanted to try something different? How about those who spent just as much time in the 1-49 bracket as those in the 50 brackets? Should they be penalized just because they wanted to level to 50 just from pvp? The answer is no. Right now swtor's pvp isn't pvp, its gear vs gear, and it will remain that way until Bioware can find a way for everyone to be on equal footing. I know a lot of great pvpers, and some of the best pvp guilds left swtor. Not because they were getting facerolled by those in WH, but because they were doing the facerolling. Once they got their mains in full augmented Elite War Hero, WZ became really easy, and they moved onto a real challenge. Swtor end-game pvp is a broken system. I can very well see casual pvpers, and hardcore pvper continue to leave swtor until there is a better system.
  16. I used to play football as well. I would have my good games, and bad games, I never took it out on someone else on my team. However, there was one guy that did, and he would take out his anger on us in practice. When we lost one of our games, the same guy would tackle me in practice everytime i caught the ball and was already down. One day, when he was running to ball, i shoved him into a torn bush, and the rest of the team laughed while the coach tried to get him out. Lets just say he found other healthier ways to vent his anger afterwards. The sad thing is, you cant do the same to selfish a holes on the internet, you have to just endure.
  17. Sorry, i never heard that expression before.. To me "taking a piss at work" means using the restroom *at work. *Notice I too used "at work."
  18. Lol you better hope that neither you or me work togather, because if i cant even use the bathroom without you giving me a hard time about it, then we are going to have major problems...
  19. also, ignore only works if its a few people are doing it, but it seems like every other lost WZ there is one self-centered *****, who thinks if the top healer cant keep him up, then that healer must be a terrible healer, person, and should kill himself.
  20. A pvp match doesnt define anyone as a person. If it does, then you must live a **** life. I dont mind it when people are yelling at each other on the events going on in the WZ, that i can ignore. However, when someone starts attacking everyone personally that is going too far. I really pity the person who takes WZ, even a pug one, that seriously. It can only mean they have forgotten how to enjoy themselves. I know that me and many others turn off the chat because of ragers. I wouldn't doubt it if the reason alot of the cries for support are ignored because people's chat box is turned off. Ever wonder why bioware made it so the on/off option is one button press away?
  21. Tycoon

    worst PvP ever

Exactly what are they suppose to do? Not que because you dont like to lose once in a while? It isnt their fault the stat differences between recruit and war hero are insane.. How else are they suppose to get better and achieve the gear they need to actually compete. You should be happy swtor is seeing such growth. Dont blame the new players because they are now in a state you use to be in. I welcome them, and those coming back!!!
  22. He is right, and you are done...
  23. I always thought Sidious kind of took a dive with Mace Windu, becuase he wanted to force Anakin in a conflict and hand him a choice. Also, even though it didnt matter much, Sidious was outnumbered in the beginning of the scene. So it wasnt technically 1vs1.
  24. Ventessel: "Just because Sidious was "the most powerful Sith Lord" doesn't mean Maul would be a powerful combatant." It doesn't? If being trained by a one of the greatest, if not the best SIth Lord, doesnt make you a powerful combatant, then I dont know what will... Ventessel: "Power does not equal swordsmanship." Im pretty sure power has some role in swordsmanship...
