  1. Noticed today that the Bioanalysis nodes on Onderon and Mek-Sha have all changed from "orange sunflower" to "green bush with blue (berries?)". Is this a mistake, or was it intentional (and if the latter, why)?
  2. A lot of players really, really, really want to be able to dress themselves or one or more companions exactly like a standard Imperial Trooper. Not "closely" or "with a dye" or "some glowy bits", but exactly. It's a cosplay/roleplay/etc thing.
  3. I have the same issue, and had the same worry. Hoping it'll be fixed soon.
  4. I have a character who mostly plays GSF these days. After three weeks of completed conquests, she still has just 30 points in this quest; she should be well over 100. Fix this, please.
  5. The guilds that currently require members to complete their Conquest will not be changing that requirement. All you have done is doubled how much work those players are expected to do, each and every week.
  6. Put me down as another who really, really hopes these get brought back (soon).
  7. Before this update, I was able to toggle both the chat window and header bar, except for a tiny unobtrusive arrow to expand them again. Now I'm stuck with the latter, no matter what.
  8. This fine shootin' iron hasn't been available for many a year now, and when one does turn up on the GTN, it goes for crazy prices. Any chance of putting it back on the Cartel Market?
  9. Any chance the event will be extended accordingly? Even more than the Double XP, I was looking forward to grinding out some bounties this week, and would rather not have to wait another month (or more).
  10. I got the exact same email on all three Imperial characters that I've taken through Onslaught, even the one who I'm guessing that a flag isn't being set properly somewhere. Has anyone ever gotten a different email?
  11. Same here, on two different characters even. One was an Agent who rolled through the door and into cover, and the other was a Warrior who leapt to his target. So that's 2 out of 4 classes who can break this quest using common fight-opening abilities/tactics.
  12. Ran "Little Boss" today on a new character. The combined achievement for getting both names and gifts right is still bugged; not only does it recognize me getting both right almost exactly one year ago, it didn't award it on this run.
  13. I also liked the old style, came here just to see if someone else had already posted about it. +1 ( I suspect the issue was that it was often hard to tell the exact borders of the old one. May I suggest, as an alternative / compromise, that the new reticle design be given the brighter green color and glow of the old? )
  14. Word. 1: Companion gifts, Alliance crates, catalysts, other bits and bobs in short-term storage 2: Metals, Fabrics, Compounds, etc 3: Crystals (color, power, gems) and Artifacts 4: Biomedical stuff, Sliced Tech Parts, and raw Aug bits in all the colors of the rainbow 5: "Sets" (in progress) of various BoL orange gear from crates (completed sets get sent to the appropriate character) 6: Random gear - single/mismatched pieces of BoL orange gear, blues, greens and even whites - that may, someday, be part of an outfit
  15. When I first tried typing this, it got long (even for this thread) and ramble-y. Here's the highlight reel: I play on Red Eclipse, even though I'm West Coast USA, 'cause a lot of my friends who play(ed) back when I started, in early 2013, were/are Euros. I recently burned one of my booster tokens to remake my Agent on Ebon Hawk, where some of my American friends play, but mostly for other reasons - see below. I stayed subscribed to City of Heroes, my former 'main' MMO, for almost its entire run, even when I wasn't playing - even after it went hybrid F2P. Here, though, I tend to subscribe for a while, play a LOT to "get my money's worth", and then let my sub lapse again when something else comes along. My first two characters, an Agent and a Trooper, sat halfway through their class stories for years, when I burned out on the game back then: the slow pace of leveling, having to do all the quests on every planet, and keeping myself and all my companions geared. I came back at the end of 2015, when all of that had been fixed, and finished their stories by the end of January. Then I made the other six. Basically, I jumped the gun on DvL by most of a year. Oops! Halfway through 2016 and KotFE, not being able to see two months into the future meant my Agent got locked out of the option to shoot Kaliyo in the next chapter. That wasn't the only thing that made me quit, but it was definitely a factor. Remember point #1? Won't lie, the main reason I remade him was so I could do that over. And take screenshots. And video. Yes, I have strong feelings about Kaliyo (who I did not hire, she was assigned to me by Keeper, and she's been an occasionally useful but barely tolerable and constantly backstabbing nuisance ever since). Came back in November to cash in my crystals, which meant shoving my six bench-warmers through SoR to get them to 65 and buy their purple Outlander gear from the Rishi vendors. While I was at it, figured I'd put some of them, not all, through KotFE. (One Jedi, one Sith - though it's looking like it might be two - and not my hunter or smuggler. They're better off sticking to what they do.) I always try to match companion to task, as someone else said. Sometimes when one fails, I'll send them back to try again; other times, I'll try someone else to see if they can do any better. Started out with gut feels, ended up making it a rule: all my Pubs are female and all my Imps are male. (At least for now.) I played the heck out of the X-Wing trilogy back in the day, was even part of an online squadron. Poked my head into GSF; it wasn't awful, but it wasn't what I wanted. I've never ever been a serious raider in any game. Not my thing. Recently, some questlines have tempted me to try Ops; twice now in just the last few days, I've been yelled at for wasting the time of seven other people. I don't think I'm going back. I love playing with paper dolls and coordinating everyone's outfits. I've had TOR Fashion bookmarked for ages and gone hunting on the market or in missions for just the right lookalike piece to complete a set. (Not a "real" set; as a non-raider, I don't need top gearscores or set bonuses.) All of my characters have cargo hold tabs devoted to old gear; in the case of my Sith Warrior, Jaesa has a closet just for herself. Between my eight, I have all the crew/crafting skills covered, and doubled up on some of the better gathering choices. Makes it lots easier to keep myself in mats - for personal use (mods and enhancements, etc), not to play the market. I never actually played KOTOR or the sequel, but I keep meaning to.
  16. So I recently transplanted and/or remade a few characters here from another server, and one aspect of the Ebon Hawk culture that's giving me trouble so far - I can't seem to figure out how to ask or get into teams running Heroic Missions, my preferred source for credits and/or Alliance crates. On my main server (Red Eclipse, because most of my friends playing when I started were Euro), people are constantly calling in General for groups to run a planet's set of H2s - even now, with the new content out, cxp to grind, etc etc. But here? Nothing. Does everyone here either just solo them, or run them with guildmates? (I'm not in one yet, still working on my application.) Is there some other channel I need to join? Or do you just not do them anymore? I feel like I'm missing something. EDIT: I suppose the lack of any response, despite dozens of views (besides my own), is itself a sort of answer.
  17. "Active" PCs are, as a general rule, tremendously hard to do at the story level in a computer game, online or otherwise. A live GM can improvise on the fly, but a game needs to have writers, programmers and artists anticipate anything that a PC might conceivably do... which is, of course, impossible. So virtually all of them, by necessity, present the player with the path, or two or three paths, that were actually mapped out (and coded, drawn, and voiced) - and that's what you get to choose and react to.
  18. As much as it pains me, I can kind of see it. As an earlier poster in this thread noted, Jaesa was never very stable. (One of the things I loved about her.) She was, in fact, a vicious jealous little minx. mmm... good times.
  19. A picture, as they say, is worth a thousand. So here's 2k words for comparison. Lana Before Lana After
  20. A picture, as they say, is worth a thousand. So here's 2k words for comparison. Lana Before Lana After
  21. Not necessarily. I suspect there are a lot of people out there who like Lana or Theron, and would be happy to throw the other under a bus, or at least enough of a preference to not agonize over it much.
  22. It's not, but it's what I expected. Thanks anyway.
  23. So there's a certain thing that happens, or can happen, near the end of Chapter 12 of KotFE that my Agent accidentally locked themselves out of (due to not being able to see two months into the future) by making a choice near the end of Chapter 11. It's bothered me ever since. One of the first things I did to try out the new 'replay' feature was to load up Chapter 12 again... but, because our original choices are what's "official" and tied to the character, I was given the same (lack of) options as when I went through it the first time. Is there any way to get the choice from replaying Chapter 11 to "stick" or "carry over" into a replay of Chapter 12, or does the chapter break between them mean that we can never even see, in a replay, the option we missed out on?
  24. What the droid said, IMO. Do it twice - once for each extreme alignment - and maybe also for a non-Force character, even though it's plain they want you to do it as a Force user.
