  1. Managed to get 2 notes of reflection from single run of hutta roof heroic with amity. Before patch (and after 7.4) I didn't get a single drop on hutta for half a year. So definitely something changed, let's hope drop rates returned to normal on all planets.
  2. 2024 5 years later still not fixed. At least it's repeatable now, you can wait and redo next week with proper order. Why can't you fix it same as all other bonus series: do not lit quest icon above quest giver unless you are in correct stage of parent quest that says "complete XXX for YYY"? If you worry about breaking the story, immersion, bugs break that for sure I tell you that. If that's so complicated why not just trash old quest logic code and write new correct one? I would much appreciate you to spend more time on bugs (some of which are decade old) and less time on new content and I think I'm not alone.

For those who do not wish to wait for patch there is one area that does produce notes at rate around 1 drop per 100 kills, I've had amity with me 1 inf and 50 inf, seems influence doesn't matter, probably without amity (without companion as ppl noted earlier) it drops too, I didn't try. It's onderon north lake district, mandos. Available only for rep side. But it may exhaust after couple of drops (300-500 kills), then you need to just wait, relog, switch instance smth else, I didn't figure exactly what. Spores are not dropped there. probably other old season currencies are dropped too, I have legendary rep for others.
  4. To earn current season currency you just do ops (12 per run) or at least fp (3 per run) which is even available to f2p/pref. I'm 200/200 for spores each week because I do a lot of ops for op1 framing. Random drop I think mostly designed to give drops for off season currencies. Funny thing, they probably nerfed drop rate of dark spores because you can get plenty from group contents, yet they also nerfed prev season currencies which are not possible to get via other methods, you can't even boost drop chance via intel because intel is only for current season. You can't even pay to win to max out influence or speed up, which is ridiculous. On one hand they value reputation and avoid pay to win, on the other hand they encourage 100% engagement which only nolife junkies can afford. Personally I don't see how season mechanics is any better than pay to win. It's even worse, because not only you need to pay money for subscription, you need to constantly stay in the game unless you wanna risk loosing content like reputation. This only leads to ppl loose interest and pay less attention to things like achievements and reputation which in turn leads to less income. Because why bother with seasons if I can't keep 100% influence anyways without abandoning real life. Pay to win at least gives you chance to pay (same or even bigger) money later and get the same achievements. Because I don't see any reason why season contents can't be solo played after season end. Why I can't pay same amount of money and get same content but at my convenience later when I have time?
  5. Just got a single drop of notes of reflection in 3 weeks since 7.4 on meksha with amity inf level 1. They definitely changed something. Probably tied possibility to level of enemy, so no more easy drops on hutta. and even so the drop rate is terrible, I wont be able to raise remaining 20k points in a year.

Expected behaviour: "Don't get notes of reflection if you reach legend rand with cold moon", actual behaviour: "Don't get notes of reflection if you reach legend rand with G.A.M.E.". Well I suspect that this might be the case, that's why I don't get notes even if I don't have legend rank with cold moon.
  8. other ppl noted that it's harder to get prev season currency the longer you wait. I don't get the logic. You want ppl to be nolife junkies who afraid to skip any season contents and constantly subscribe or you want money and allow pay to win for those who don't have time to be constantly in the game? Why not make some boosts for cartel coins that allow you earn prev season currency? now you just have no possibility ever. You value your reputation, I get it, pay to win is generally bad, but worse is making your players nolife junkies.
  9. Bad luck not getting a single drop for more than a week? When I was getting them like 1-2 per hour? I could get at least 40 per week before without specifically farming in special locations or on special enemies, just doing solo contents. Although I've noticed that some locations/enemies dropped more, like killiks on alderaan or starting planets like ord mantell and hutta just because you kill enemies there faster. BTW my theory (that it's tied to some currency weekly limit) was wrong. After start of new week I am still not getting any drops even though I didn't hit any limits yet. The other possible bug might be in condition "Only drops for those who are below legend rank", the bug being this condition tied to another party, not cold moon. Because I have plenty of legend ranked parties by now. That would explain why others still getting drops and I'm not.
  10. maybe so, but I've tried on toons with 50 inf as well. I have a theory. I suspect it's related to one of limits I have hit this week: either op1 or dark spores where I hit weekly limit. I'll try next week to farm for notes when I don't yet exhausted limit on any other currency. If my theory is correct then it's still a bug, I just discovered more details to it.
  11. if such conditions do exist it's unfortunate they are not mentioned anywhere by devs. If there is any way I can increase drop rate, I would surely do so. I used toons with 1 and 50 influence - no difference. Before 7.4 it seems only count mattered, so it was easier to farm starting planets for notes.
  12. I just did tat rep heroics with full bonus, still not a single drop. I suspect they messed up with condition. It says if I have legendary influence with "messengers" drops will not happen. I suppose actual (broken) condition is either rank <= champion, or they use other reputation party, I have a lot of parties with 100% reputation 18/29: BBA, Makeb, Y4, GAME, IOKATH and others.
  13. you sure it's still working after 7.4 for you? What's your amity influence? what's your reputation with that group? I didn't get a single drop since 7.4. Are you getting drops when amity in the group or other companion?

  15. Notes of reflection are not dropped from enemies anymore. Supposedly after 7.4 was deployed. I've killed many thousands enemies and didn't receive a single note. Before 7.4 I was getting at least 1-2 notes per hour. Ofc I kill enemies with amity as a companion

  17. I wasn't online during most of amity season and now I don't have full reputation with corresponding party. And I can't even do anything to increase reputation. After patch 7.4 hit I wasn't able to acquire a single note of reflection although I killed like a thousand enemies with amity. Before patch I used to have 1 or 2 notes per hour of playing at least. Probably a bug. But I would like also to complain about whole system. Yes, I get it, you encourage ppl to participate in season meaning ppl subscribe meaning ppl pay money. Yes, you have total right to encourage ppl to pay you money for your work. BUT now I'm just stuck without possibility to earn legend rank reputation ever. This is a completionist butthurt. Moreover I'm even ready to pay you money. Give me means I dunno to spend cartel coins for java intel boost, but no, there is no way I can boost or even just get those damn notes. Fleet vendor sells jawa intel for new season, not amity season, same for jawa in bazaar. So please add some means, yes they might be expensive like many cartel coins or season tokens, but it must work for sure. Season was like 3-4 months, so give the means to pay around that price and get this influence after season end. And fix that bug that I'm not getting any notes with amity although I've killed like thousand enemies. And in general you avoid pay to win scenarios to preserve reputation, that's noble, but on the other hand you introduce mechanics that require a lot of grinding and in many cases just impossible to get. Why not make reputation/achievement pay to win? I think nobody would mind. Something like: buy this cartel coin boost that makes x10 kills toward achievements, or pay 10kcc to get some old/archived achievement or make some kills count toward old achievement that is impossible to get now. You will be surprised how many ppl will buy this just to get close to 100% achievement rate. I've abandoned whole idea of tracking achievements because I want to have life you know... But if some point would require me just to pay money, who knows... It fits well into industry standard of mmos that most players accept: you either grind (and have no life) or just pay money for things that doesn't give you any competitive edge, just exist, like reputation and achievements.
  18. Currently if you happen to finish dxun ops story mission, you'll get automatically companion alert asking to finish R4 any difficulty. Quest called "A Threat from the Shadows". As you all know R4 SM is harder than many (any?) vet mode ops and virtually impossible to complete in fleet pug group even with current max 336 gear. BW even adds R4 to the group finder, which is even more crazy. Ok, you want to make a very hard ops even on SM, which is quite questionable by itself, fine, I'm not gonna argue this decision here, there are lots of other topics about this. I'm saying that now this quest stays in your quest list forever without any hope of completion. If you abandon this quest it just go back to alerts. Please make it the same as all other ops intro quests: some quest giver on fleet/planet with possibility to abandon it. Please don't suggest "don't finish dxun", "just finish R4 SM" or "just ignore alert" options. First because I can't undo it, otherwise have to abandon char which I've invested many mills and weeks into. Second because as I said it's impossible for pug group/casual player (I've made like 5 attempts both rep/imp with many wipes and many hours). Third because it would just keep bugging me abandoning yet another way of declaring "I've finished the game", approaching the game as solo RPG. I've already abandoned ideas like "finish all planet quests" as they are repeatable, "finish all fleet quests" because of something like "aratech coral" (Voss WB), "finish all ops intro quests"/"finish all purple quests" because some ops are just not completable by fleet pug groups (R4, gods), the list goes on. I wasn't even considering options like "get all achievements" or "get max rep for all factions" options as those require virtually infinite time investment. Not to mention crazy ones like "Get 340 gear with 300 aug for all specs" or "get all items available in collections". Just so you know I've finished binoculars/seeker quests for all my 30 chars, many times paying ppl to participate. And ofc all datacrons. The only viable option left is "finish all purple quests that cannot be abandoned", which makes my completionist mind wishing to abandon whole game entirely.

  20. Waiting for patch is not a workaround. Just so you know, workaround is something you do WITHOUT fixing the problem itself. You obviously don't know how software is developed. All companies who take money for their product establish QA plans that include thorough regression testing. Ofc you can skip this out to cut costs, but this tells your customers that you are greedy and doesn't respect them. What would you say if your bank/investing app suddenly substract couple of thousand bucks per month and call it a bug? And a new bug similar to this introduced with every release let's say once per 2 weeks. Then if you discover it they would just say sorry, your fault, you should've check this functionality on our public test server, and wont even return you this amount. What I'm trying to say (again) is that companies that take money for their services have whole QA department that prevents 99.99% of bugs from reaching customers. Asking customers to do QA job FOR FREE is a strange (greedy) approach. You would expect bugs in new functionality. If every release you get bugs in old code it just says you've got a crappy application architecture or very bad code quality with huge tech debt, which nobody wants to eliminate (refactor). Again GREEDY!
  21. All my chars who already finished story before 7.2 got to complete Digging Deeper (manaan part when you get 3 local buffs) before Ruhnuk. When I finished Ruins of Nul on my another character after 7.2 (and ruins of nul critical bug fix) I got straight into Ruhnuk. No quest marks on manaan or my ship mission console too. UPD: I've got Veiled Threats quest in the middle of Ruhnuk. If it's as designed, then ok, otherwise it's a bug, but very minor.
  22. So any workaround found or we need to wait for fix. BW how much time you need more after 10+ years to make new content releases that doesn't break existing functionality? Or you expect ppl to invest their time to test your buggy release on PTS?

  24. 1. Can't share anything (have to wait every ops member to get mission now, some just forget and don't get it) 2. Companions not fighting/healing (more dying and wasting money) 3. GSF not giving Ossus weekly progress (I don't play personally, but ppl complain) 4. Big lag Coruscant instance 1 and some others It's been a month since 5.10 started and still no fix. And all we have some decoration and cosmetic fix? Also numerous other bugs: 1. Incorrect companion state after autocompleting the story by going to Ossus: rep side have both malavai quinn and elara dorne recruitable, imp side has malavai quinn not recruitable, elara dorne not in list at all. I wonder how your QA tested this feature main scenario. Did they test it at all? 2. Companions duplicated (one available to summon, another reported missing as of start of KOTFE and unavailable)
