  1. Yeah sometimes you get lucky and someone just wants to clean out their inventory. They'll just throw the stuff up at the gtn default price.
  2. I have an assassin at the moment, but since playing a sage, I've decided that a sorcerer would be much more fun. So I plan on levelling a sorc during 2xp. My assassin is only level 42 atm, so anything after that will be new story. Just wish I had figured all this out sooner. Don't really feel like staring at the Korriban color scheme again :-/
  3. I have a 100mbps connection and download at a constant 8 to 10 MBps. Although to be fair, I'm in Germany and play during off peak times when most of you guys are still sleeping
  4. I personally would be happy if they did it like they do inventory. Pay double and unlock it account wide. Saves a lot of CC and it's always there when you roll a new toon. With that said, I'm perfectly happy waiting til level 15 and paying 250 credits to unlock speeder piloting from my skill trainer. I mean the difference between level 10 and 15 is a matter of a couple hours.
  5. I see where you're coming from, but this game is geared more towards casual players. Casual players like things like 2xp. Myself included. I understand that a lot of the more serious players think the levelling in this game is too fast to begin with, and I agree to a certain extent. The thing is, I just don't have time for all that. Between my work and my family, I play for maybe 6 hours a week. 2xp is a welcomed thing for me because I can afford to skip those side missions that I don't care for, or have already played, and get on with the story (which is mainly why I play)
  6. Last 2xp weekend it definitely all stacked, with the exception of rested xp. That gets put on pause. Happy levelling
  7. Yeah for 60CC it's definitely worth it. The collections in general I've found to be worth it though. Especially the crystals. Cool beans that you found a nice speeder though.
  8. Something that really helps, and is a huge time saver, is unlocking the mailbox and gtn terminal on your ship. Then you really only need to go to the laggy fleet once in a while. And your ship is always just a taxi ride away.
  9. With my first toon, I also tried my hand at crafting, but crafting turns out to not be worth it until way later and only after crafting level 400 really. So now I have bio analysis, underworld trading, and treasure hunting. Treasure hunting yields gems that others need for crafting and some of the gems sell for A LOT of credits. Underworld trading yields metals and some of those also sell for a ton. Then the bio stuff sells to those who craft stims and med packs. Other than that, I use my monthly CC allowance to buy packs and sell what I find. By level 30, I was a millionaire. When you go to sell something on the gtn, search it first by name and see how much they sell for, then adjust your prices accordingly. Set your sale for 2 days and just wait for the emails. Also you can sell the packs without opening them, and those go for a lot. I open them though because sometimes it'll have something I want. Then sell the rest. I have some really nice crystals thanks to that. I even got a darth Revan holo statue once that sold for 700k by itself.
  10. I play both a sith assassin and a Jedi sage. I gotta say, the sage play style is more fun. So much so that I'm considering deleting my lvl42 assassin and rolling a sorcerer. But that may be just me. I've always loved playing a mage. The sage has some really nice casting abilities. The shadow will basically only have a few force attacks. I've also noticed that in PvE, with the right rotation, sage does a lot of damage. Of course I've got mine specced for DPS in the telekinetic tree. In the end though, it comes down to how you want to play. Do you want to be a melee artist that can also throw objects and use stealth to get past mobs that you don't want to fight? Or use stealth to escape a hairy situation. Or do you want to use the force, and only the force to damage your foes, while having the ability to heal yourself and others. And also be able to attack from a much farther distance (30m). Either way you're going to have fun. You can do what I did to try out both play styles and roll a Jedi sage and a sith assassin. Best of both.
  11. Wow thank you guys for your replies. Helped a ton. I have ashara unlocked and used her for the last half of Taris. I think I'm actually gonna stick with her. She does decent DPS so mobs die ultra quick. Again thank you guys for your replies. Gonna go gear the hell out of ashara now
  12. Hey everybody. My main is a lvl 36 assassin and for about the last 10 levels, Khem seems to be getting extremely squishy. I ALWAYS accept armor as mission rewards, I have him always in his tanking stance, just for some reason he dies extremely fast. I'm sitting on a full 100 planetary comms and about half a million credits. I can afford to gear him better. How much will it actually help though, and would you guys recommend it? I just don't want to spend a lot and then him still be a squishy wuss. I'm thinking of just buying some custom armor, and filling it with current level blues from the comms vendor
  13. My sage seems to level quickly. I generally do 100% of planet missions, excluding heroics, and by the time I got to Taris I was 5 levels above the missions. I had to skip a few to keep from out levelling the class missions. Although I always have an xp boost active. It's nice though because it gives me the freedom to skip missions that I really don't care for.
  14. Ich glaube du willst die deutsche Foren. Aber ja, das kannst du solange es nicht verbunden ist.
  15. I made my main to look like the perfect woman. By the time I was done, it looked just like my wife. That seemed to pump her ego a bit lol
  16. It was a reward for preordering the expansion. However, there is another one that you can buy in a crate from the cartel market. Or I think you can also buy one through the legacy menu but I'm not 100% sure. The hutt holo trainer was only for preordering though
  17. I've actually found some decent looking armor dyes at the security key vendors as well, and they're actually really cheap.
  18. 1. swtor 2. WoW 3. Rift 4. GW2 5. DCUO Although I'm fairly new to MMOs so this list is subject to change.
  19. I'm fairly new to the whole credit making thing. My main has about 300k, first alt has about 70k, and my other 2 alts have 50k each. All made from selling mats. And my main's inventory is full again
  20. Excellent post OP. You read my mind. Especially about the planetary comms and rocket boots.
  21. My assassin is wearing a full set of saber marshal gear. Red on black. Can't complain. All looted from quest bosses.
  22. It's a roll of the dice which roon wins the conversation dice roll. They all still got their LS points so I wouldn't worry about it. It's just that there's a side mission you have to do if you don't sacrifice the engineers.
  23. Man I've been alting too much and don't have a single char to even 50. I really need to remedy that :-/
  24. I solo black talon and esseles multiple times with new alts to get a head start on orange gear. I find the gear drops in both FPs to be quite good looking armor, then off to the commendation vendor to mod everything full. It's great if you're short on credits or, like me, you just like the look of the armor. It was definitely easiest with my assassin and khem. Wasn't quite so easy (but still entirely doable) with melee classes.
