  1. An idea might be to make for instance Purple bikes to have increased speed. This way, not everyone "has" to drive with high speeds, one can choose. If one cannot handle 700MPH I can agree to have them have a lower-speed bike, but do add at least one or two decent-speed bikes. This way, those that CAN handle some speed have an option as well. It's not fair to punish us speed-lovers because a few happened to smack into walls!!!

  3. I have none of the problems mentioned afore, but I agree to all this. +1 to the idea.
  4. 1) I NEVER said that they had to be able to jump over the Eifel Tower. But an increase in both jump height and -distance is a must: on a bike you simply jump further than on foot! 2) Whomever that crashes into walls at taxi speed, would make me think he cannot use a trackball (or mouse, I use a trackball) correctly. It's no different than a race game really! 3) Speeders go a miserable 40 clicks an hour... not very fast IMHO? If you saw Luke speeding, that was 'slightly' over 40KMPH!!!! I do not believe that the increase in Speeder speed would unbalance anything. It will add to realism, as it is ATM, it seems almost more than a tricycle more than it looks like the super fast machine we saw in the movies. Again, I do not ask for stupid high changes, but an increase would not be bad. At all.
  5. Erm, I never asked for a rename, but a great increase in speed, 'jump-height' and 'jump-distance'... The 'Slower' was a remark at the lack of speed.
  6. Ave! As most if not all of you noticed... the Speeders are all but just that: Speeders. Actually, they are Slowers. How ridiculous is it that a taxi has somewaht decent speed, and our 'bikes' became tricycles? Have the Speeder companies forgot to put in the right fuel? Dirty spark plugs? Something else??? Please DO increase the speeder speed to that of the taxi please. Having a slower is just not that... AT ALL... While we're at it, increase it's Jump Height/Distance as well... Speeders are flight capable, but ours 'jump' like a brick... And IF I am not mistaken, bricks don't really jump. Neither do our Speeders... Thank you.
  7. So, there is no 'sniper class' in the Republic side? I was not aware of this, to be honest, playing purely Imperial atm. Thank you for your answer.

Idea was to get more creatures ingame, such as there is the Krayt Dragon (Tatooine), Mountain Krayt Dragon (Tatooine), Ysalamiri (Force-repellent lizards from the planet Myrkr), Vornskyr (cat like, Force sensitive predators of that same planet), and tons of such exotic encounters more, to add to the bestiary. For space encounters I was thinking of specifically 2 species: Yuuzhan Vong and Ssi Ruuk. Formidable foes, that might add to the game's total experience. The Yuuzhan should be very high-up-level encounters, considering they once nearly wiped out the Republic killing nearly 370 TRILLION sentients.
  9. I've been reading this post since a while now, and it strikes me: no one asked for Falleen? Prince Xizor as most known Falleen (Black Sun leader), Thann Mithric (a Falleen Jedi Master), Natua Wan (Falleen Jedi Knight), Lord Xist (Black Sun Vigo), Darth Karrid (Falleen Sith, but the Darth should have given this away) to name a small group. Falleen are Reptilian creatures that manipulate though feromones more than through the Force, a natural ability that, and I must say IMHO, could be a great add-on to the story line of SWTOR. Why? Well, no one wants to do something against his will, no? Imagine an NPC forcing you to do just that (note: an NPC, not for players)... Annoying... but such is life...
  10. ANY Jedi or Sith has the power to influence, either through logic, through emotional manipulation, through the Force... Being around someone makes one lower in personality change no matter how. Also amongst non-Force sensitives this is a fact (though skip the 'through the Force' part). This can be seen in real life as well: Hitler, school, society in general. I am totally for this, I like the ideas presented.

I agree fully with Undead, adding this feat will destroy the grouping with players, people will go solo anywhere, up from heroics to world bosses, harvesting loot to make lots of cash in the early phase, then simply kill the GTN through over-stashing it with these goods and thus destroying the trade. Big no-no.

  13. I spoke of range and weapon, not about class. This was for both the Imp as the Rep side. PS: you did not motivate your post. A reason for what you said is more that appreciated. A mere 'it is because it is' is not sufficient.
  14. FYI: not everyone digs techno. I could have suggested Black Metal, Death Metal or even Punk, but I do not for that same reason. Some prefer Jazz, some Classic, or Opera, Rock... The current music is not too bad, more... worldly. If you would suggest music, then let it be pure SW based music, like the movie music. Themes. But that is just my opinion, of course...
  15. As many know, the Sniper Rifle has (I think) 30 meters of range. I cannot say, since I am not a sniper, nor will I run one soon. However: a Sniper Rifle is meant for long distance killing, and funny: the pistols have the same range. I suggest to increase Rifles up to 40 meters (or 10 to 15 meters above original range), and + 20 to 25 for Sniper Rifles. Why? Realism, for one... Thoughts?
