  1. The new weapon we make in Chapter XII is good for exactly one thing: fighting Arcann. The rest of the time just use your real weapons.
  2. I remember in my first d20 Star Wars RPG, I introduced a recurring villain officer in the first session and I out-right told the players "I don't care how many replacement parts he needs, but he will be back" The Wookiee Jedi cut his right arm off that time. He took one of his legs the next time the party faced him on the ground. They humiliated him in a massive space battle. They finally finished him off on Kashyyyk... while falling into the Shadowlands. I rather foolishly hoped that no-one would jump after him after they knocked him off the Nursery Ring, so he could survive and they could kill him on the next planet. It was pure awesome though. I miss those players.
  3. Overall, I enjoyed in on my Jedi Knight. Granted, not everything made sense, and I'm half convinced that Marr's ghost is Vitiate/Valkorian too. Senya was chewing me out over Kaliyo as if I'd taken the Dark Side option in chapter X even though I didn't... not sure if that's a glitch or another instance of her and Koth being "not so different after all". I want to bash them both over the head with their own self-righteousness. Fighting ghost-Valkorian was... one part interesting, three parts blipping irritating. Constantly teleporting, though appropriate for a spirit enemy, made for very frustrating gameplay, especially because my graphics card and connection make it really hard to keep up with enemies that can *poof*... still, mobile challenges are more interesting than static slugfests, so on a better machine it could have been fun The vision-Vaylin fight glitched on me so I had to run away until the encounter reset. It behaved the second time and was quite fun. The final monster... I chose neutral because I expected the Light and Dark options to both be "wrong" given the theme of the chapter, which meant I didn't have to fight it. The Arcann-buster lightsabre is going to sit in my cargo hold until the time comes to actually bust him with it I don't like the look of it compared to the lightsabres I chose for myself... still, it could be worse. I felt like everyone was lying to me (or just sincerely wrong) when they said Valkorian strengthened my bond with the Force. If that was true, why do we keep running into cut-scenes where we're ridiculously weak compared to how we were in the original story? Not sure how this is going to play on my Agent, or my start-at-60 Visas clone (or anyone else for that matter. The cliffhanger really got me itching for the next chapter so I can go and save Havoc Squad... and I guess I'll save Kaliyo too
  4. And still no-one in-universe is willing to entertain the idea that we lost because of Valkorian. We were beating Arcann like a rented drum until the cut-scene. Despite the annoying "cut-scene incompetence", I loved the new chapter... after Valkorian left. His constant "you're nothing without me" BS is ridiculous. We killed him. Twice. I'm not convinced that Marr and Satele are right, and (call me paranoid) but are we sure Marr's ghost is Marr and not Valkorian? He knows we're unlikely to listen to him so he pretends to be someone we actually like. It was nice to see them though The Odeesan Wilds are gorgeous. Fighting vision-Vaylin should have been awesome... except it glitched on me the first time and she ended up falling through the planet so I had to run away until the encounter reset. Second time, everything behaved. My only complaint with the new Arcann-buster lightsabre is that I couldn't make two of them. I'm a Jedi Sentinel. I should be able to make twin lightsabres. I also loved the cliffhanger at the end. It's got me itching for Chapter XIII so we can go save Havoc Squad... and I suppose save Kaliyo. Senya has joined Koth on my "Let me bash their heads in with their own self-righteousness" list. Not sure if it was a glitch but she was acting as if I'd let Kaliyo blow up the Spire in chapter X even though I chose Light Side. So, yeah, I may not agree with the idea that people want me to be the new Eternal Empress, but overall I enjoyed this chapter. The Zakuul natives in the Alliance continue to get more and more irritating, and the cross-faction *************, though funny, makes me fear for our future. All things considered, I'd say it was a good addition to the story.
  5. I picked the [flirt] option on my Jedi Knight, hoping it would be funny... it wasn't.
  6. Wait, does this mean I'll finally have enough space for the whole of my Chiss' names? I've been 2 letters short for years. Also, if it works, allowing spaces will mean no more using a ' or a - between given names and surnames. Too bad I more than half expect it to break horribly.
  7. Last I heard, PTS was testing 4.3, and 4.3 is the next chapter (and maybe Eternal Championship).
  8. Ok, this has probably been done to death in previous threads, but I feel like the easiest character to make bi (or at least "bi-curious") and have it make sense is Dark Jaesa. I mean you set her on the path of indulging her passions. She has drunken murder-sex with some random guy. It's not much of a stretch to imagine her experimenting with women, even if she ultimately decides to stick with men. And my mind just went to a scary visual place of Dark Jaesa and a female Warrior (in a relationship together) using Pierce as their glorified sperm donor when they decide that the time is right to have offspring.
  9. I thought we were finally getting Eternal Championship, and therefore Bowdarr with this chapter... or has that been delayed yet again?
  10. The chapter is about us and Valkorian (or so it seems from the trailer). Just because the last two focused on a single companion doesn't mean they all will. I'm hoping for more alerts to unlock though so we have a bit more to do this time.
  11. If all else fails, there's still fanfiction... hopefully well written fanfiction.
  12. And we'd end up creating Jar Jar by culling all the competence from the Gungan genome... ok, that's a bad plan (shudder)
  13. Probably because most of the guides were written before KotFE meant we had to do that
  14. In this time period, humans haven't colonised Naboo yet. The Gungan tribes are living on the surface as well as underwater. They're also not unified yet, so there's lets of fighting going on.
  15. Back before level-synch, the enrage for the Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine, and Alderaan World Bosses seemed to be based on getting them down to a certain hit point percentage rather than on a timer. Whether I was killing them alone or in a group, it always seemed to be when they were down to 25-30% hitpoints (regardless of class) that the enrage thing triggered and they started doing twice as much damage... though at level 60 against R4-GL, twice nothing was still nothing Having more people just made it go down faster. Not sure if those three still engage based on damage taken, but c'est la vie.
  16. I hope that they're just waiting to bring her back awesomely. Having my waifu back via the Impatience Terminal just isn't the same
  17. Not that I in any way advocate doing what's in the spoiler block. I love Kira. She's my waifu... just not according to the game
  18. Probably not, that's why they said "take it to the forums"
  19. What is it she says about Jedi running the government? Something along the lines of this. "I'm not saying we'd be dictators. There'd be elections, which we'd win because we're better"
  20. Given her upbringing, her attitude is entirely understandable. I don't agree with everything she says, but I get why she says it. Personally, I love her. I find her to be a lot of fun, but yeah, she needs to learn to be a bit nicer to the normals
  21. Darn. Still no Silver Crystal Oh well, c'est la vie.
