  1. He wasn't popular when introduced, i guess many would complaint "not him again" even if it would be perfect sense to have him as companion. It's pretty much the opposite of HK55 who had popular acclamation when intruced and managed to be revived and provide many branded goodies.

  3. For round 5, you need to interrupt the adds in its back (with force push for instance) and optionally kill them (if you have survivability issue you should). You could use phase walk or force speed to run off the AOE. If you have trouble to survive, use the Heroic moment and Unity. Kill reinforcements, unless you're very close to finish the boss. People with 190 gear are likely not augmented and miss the 20k health the raider and PvPer have. Anyway, all boss can be done as DPS with DPS companion, thanks to the proper use of the buffs, gear and kolto station. The trick is to do them all in a raw with such a layout. For boss 10 I'm using 1 or 2 kolto station depending of the spec: one for general healing, the second one to survive to the beam if the character has no strong cooldowns or can't burst before it ends. For Boss 6 (brawler is friend), you want to use a melee companion if you set it to DPS or tank.
  4. To remove his "invulnerability", run behind him and cause any damage. It's a fight mechanism.
  5. I've not seen them amongst the items of the pack listed in the collection window.
  6. Operative concealment is pretty easy to play. It's a burst class so things are usually dead before you finish any rotation. Also it's a stealth class and more you stealth, less you fight. To perfect the rotation you need to press keys fast, but you don't need to for solo content. Sadly the class has the poor AOE. You can also swtich to healer. rotations are easy (you need to have a hand on your mouse to select the targets and another on the healing powers). You'll need good reflexes to become a good healer, however.
  7. Another issue if you're healing operation where tank have to switch will be you wont be able to see which tank has the debuff or how many stack they have. Tou wouldn't know if you have to focus and on which tank just by watching at the frame.
  8. From what i recall, adds spawn every 45s and not 30. At start, for the first 45s, there is almost no healing to do, so healer has to burst damage with the others. Then adds have to be stacked so the group can AOE them. That's implying the ranged dps and healer have to stand near the boss or, less preferably, the tank has to move the boss to the adds. Finally, you're not forced to kill the last waves of adds.
  9. I tried to run it at 2 (me dps/healer and the other one was pure dps), with 2 companions. It's not doable because of bugs and mechanisms. First phase is easy, until the merry couple come both down. Then - if a companion is tank and has aggro, the fight usually resets. Try again - if companion are set to heal or dps, they need to be micromanaged to stand in the middle. That means they can't heal meanwhile but the damage is too big to stay without healers, specially when everyone is stacked. - so I heal, but because of the aggro dump, i eventually get boss attention. Joss stuns lock me and I'm shot down in seconds without being able to do anything. - because of the aggro dump, it's such a bother to know which player or companion will get it. Additional mechanism such as being knocked off the ridge right after the AOE phase force players and companion to stack in the middle and take full damage.

  11. By the way, if DPS is too low for the fight, you have to skip one more add wave. It migth be a tactical issue also. I think it's best everyone stack on the boss, so the adds leaps there and everyone aoe them along with the boss.
  12. I'm using a French version of SWTOR. Almost all text about Ak’ghal Usar quest are missing, which make things hard to track. However, I completed it successfully with four characters so far, but trying to run it once more with my Sage leads to a dead end. I solved the puzzle and entered to the Secret Valley ("Val secret") but once there, no Ak’ghal Usar to interract with, the ruins are empty. I can leave them and return with the artifact, going to a fortress and returning or relogging, he's still not here. I still have a quest in the alliance tab (with a blank title, it's hard to see and select) which the description i have to solve the mystery of the sith artifact. Can you please fix the texts and manage for the quest be completed?
  13. Or give an option to turn her dark or light in her future story, the warrior having the option preset. They've scripted dozens of companions already and still add more, they could handle one with an option. This is basically two companions sharing the same name. As far as I understand, the future dashade was burried in Yavin for the need of the story. That couldn't apply to Khem. On the other hand, having two dashade companions later might be a bit too much storywise.

  16. I'm in the same situation and it's annoying. You don't need to kill all of them. just run through. It's quick done if you ignore all combat save for the few mandatory ones.
  17. Despite the 4.1b Patch note > t is no longer possible to get into a state where you are unable to complete Chapter X. It is still possible to get into state where we are unable to complete Chapter X. The buggy situaion desctibed on http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=870723 occured on a character of mine having started Chapter X after the patch.
  18. I've the same issue on my operative. As some other, i was grouped with another who finished the quest first. I got the email, finished all chat. Currently i cannot summon Kalyio, Koth or Lanna but can use them to craft.
  19. Then move the difficulty to the first boss. It's annoying waste 40 minutes to clear a flashpoint and chain wipe on last boss. You wont become a better healer is your groupmates stand on aoe or can't anticipate the adds.
  20. Prices raise because there is more and more credit in game. Printing more money leads to inflation. Bioware is the first responsible for this, even if they have very few options to reverse it.
  21. You didn't read. the experience is degraded with time because of the inflation
  22. Caps should follow the inflation. Independly of the reasons people are free players, the inflation degrade their experience with time. Now they cannot purchase pass from the gtn anymore, so fewer will be for sale and less free to play people will be able to join operations and warzones.
  23. Unless you don't want do anything with your companions, use your common crystals to purchase them gifts. Equip the 190 gear from the story or better if you find on the way. Run Flashpoints and SM operation to get better gear. Note the crystal purchased gear is lesser quality than token's. Consider running HM operation once you're properly equiped with 216 and better.
  24. Sound slike misplaced elitism. HM FP are bolstered and drop at most 216. Why you you demand people to get the gear droped in content to do the content? Are you suggesting EC should drop 224 token so people could have "average" gear like you have? All the failures I've seen in FP wasn't because of he gear, but because of the tactics or skills. Gear only help to make it faster.
  25. The championship looks interesting but the reward might discourage gear augmentations. Couldn't the tokens be traded against 1 mod (not necessary optimized) or even 1 augments, as an alternative to the planed legacy static gear?
