  1. I'm getting fed up with trolls and morons messing with people using disco balls and other items that make them yell and dance like idiots. Some keep popping them every time they come off cooldown, be it in the fleet or in an ops group while you're trying to explain tactics. Could these items be given a FAR longer cooldown, or have them only affect the user's party? Or could you add a setting that makes your character immune to outside emote effects? Some games like LOTRO already have such a setting. A great solution would also be turning any disco ball (or a similar item) user into a free-for-all PvP target for the next 72 hours minimum.
  2. I wholeheartedly support having an option (a box to check in settings or something) to hand in the missions manually. Some of the cutscenes were pretty good.
  3. So, here's my feedback about 7.0 so far. Firstly, I must say how it's amazing how you managed to completely ignore ALL feedback from the test server, and went on and implemented even the dumbest of ideas. But in short: the story bit, or what we got of it, is ok. And I also like having to do a reduced amount of missions to get my weekly quest done. But then... ...then... pretty much *everything* else is screwed up. The character sheet, class changes, group finder changes, not being able to pick up all ops quests, etc. Literally everything related to actual gameplay is worse than before. The list is long, but here are a few that irk me the most. 1) The new character sheet is just plain awful. Firstly it's too large, and what's worse, it's uninformative and not functioning properly. Nobody needs to see some "damage" or "survivability" rating that's like straight from some silly smartphone game. Did your devs not know this is a pc game? What players need to see are the actual stats and their percentages -- which are now inconveniently hidden behind a button and a scrollbar, while they should be the first things visible when you open your character sheet! 2) Outfitter: can't preview an outfit without activating it at the same time. You also can't inspect another player's outfit any more. 3) "Choose 1 of 3" system is just a plain awful approach. You don't need to copy all the stupid stuff that WoW did! A sizable portion of your player base consists of "WoW refugees" who came to Swtor because it was NOT like WoW. And now you're trying to drive them away? 4) Loadouts: not working reliably. The other day I spent half an ops dragging my abilities back to their slots after a temporary class swap. 5) Personal starship tab: no longer visible in the character sheet and is hidden from sight into a place where no new player could possibly find it. WHY? 6) Gearing system is appalling. It doesn't help that the ratio at which you can gain special currencies for upgrades is bonkers. Even when grinding MM flashpoints daily, those isotopes stack up ridiculously slow, whereas commendations constantly get wasted because of having reached the cap. 7) Group finder and its random, weekly selection of flashpoints. Ugh. 8) Weekly heroics and missions are not resetting properly. Haven't been able to do Coruscant or Czerka daily (or "weekly") mission series after the first week, whereas some others can. 9) Switching class usually sends your equipped tactical into the mailbox instead of your inventory. It also often places some of your personal starship equipment into your bags. Many players I've known for years have cancelled their sub and quit. If you want them back, you've got a lot of fixing to do.
  4. Awful. Plain awful. My first reaction when opening the character sheet. And my reaction every time I've opened it since. Whose bright idea was it to slap the INVENTORY into the character sheet and hide our STATS behind a click and a scrollbar? Do you have any idea on what actual gamers need and want to see? I need to see my STATS with a single glance when I open my sheet. I have zero need to see my inventory when inspecting my character. And if I need to see my inventory, I can simply open it from its own button! The new character sheet is the epitome of UN-informativeness. This certainly is a change that should never, ever make it live.
  5. Yes please. The amplifier tab must be hidden by default, and shown only on demand. Besides, there already WAS a button that toggled the amplifier list on and off. Whose bright idea was to remove that and shove the amps permanently in our faces? The new amplifier tab is not only annoying; it's also completely worthless. When leveling a character, amps are not important. When at max level and gear, there's no need to view the amps after they have been sorted out.
  6. I can't help but have the exact same feeling. It feels like some narcissist just wants to shove his brainchild in our faces -- knowing it would be hated, but at least he would get the attention he craves!
  7. I SO agree with this. The character tab "upgrade" was COMPLETELY pointless -- no, it's worse; it's purely retarded -- and should be reversed immediately. There already WAS a button that showed us all amps if needed. What was wrong with that? Whose bright idea was to shove the amps in our faces all the time -- and remove an actually USEFUL stat display?? Do your devs actually understand what stats players need and want to see? Players need to see stuff like their crit, defense, shield and absorb percentage -- all of those with a single glance! Especially because those stats change during combat when procs and cooldowns occur! Meanwhile, nobody cares about amplifiers. While leveling, they are utterly worthless -- and when at maximum level, there's no need whatsoever to view them after they have been sorted out... especially when the useless amp tab does not even group up amps of the same type.
  8. This is exactly the kind of dangerous, toxic fanaticism I'm talking about. You are already making assumptions just because someone wants to prevent the abuse of the system, indicating that you see nothing wrong with abusing it. Well, let's hope it bites you in the rear.
  9. "In Game Update 6.1.4 we are updating the Ignore list to ignore an entire Legacy. If you add a player to this list, it will apply to every character they create in their Legacy. It will behave very similarly to the current Ignore list, with the addition of not allowing an Ignored Legacy into your Personal Stronghold." So how does this affect group finder? Currently, if even one person in the group has player X on ignore for whatever reason, player X will be unable to join the group -- even if he's actually a nice guy, and the person having him on ignore is the one at fault. What if your group has some idiot who has legacy ignored half the server, including your tank buddy who is queuing for the same ops via the group finder? Can a single malicious person hold back the entire group with his ignore list, which could potentially block thousands of characters? And what if there are more such people attempting to misuse the feature to sabotage the game? A group of malicious fanatics might share a "black list" of names based on, for example, a player's assumed political stance (this is already being done in social media like Twitter), then spread out in the game and attempt to hinder as many other players as possible from enjoying the game. Summa summarum: How are you going to prevent the deliberate misuse and abuse of the mechanic?
  10. Heh. I have quite a few female toons (dw, I'm as straight as a guy can be) and even I have to agree that almost all romance options for female toons are god-awful. There are a couple of "good guys", but most seem to either be complete jerks, or have some serious mental issues to the point where I would feel uncomfortable to keep them around even on a male character. ("Sergeant Rusk reporting, Sir! Mission success 100%! Squad losses 97.3%!") Well, there's always Lana.
  11. I have been a great fan of the musical score of Star Wars since I first saw the opening credits of the original movie. However, I have never liked the annoying cantina band music. Unfortunately having game music on also means having to endure the cantina band every time I need to travel through the fleet or a cantina - or when some ******* summons a disco ball or -droid nearby. So, I would suggest that you add two (or more) separate sound options: one for the actual game music and another for the cantina crap (including those stupid disco toys). That way you could disable one while keeping the other one on without annoyances.
  12. Well, it is stated by George Lucas that Luke Skywalker is the most powerful Force user of all times, and that his Force potential is twice that of Palpatine's, and that Vader/Anakin has/had the same potential as Luke - although weakened and restricted through his injuries; using Force lightning, for example, would have fried Vader's life support systems. But during Ep VI Luke had only a fraction of the training and experience he could have had through old-style Jedi training. A few more years of training, and I have no doubt that he could have crushed the Emperor easily. And Count Dooku, despite of being more powerful as a Sith than what he ever was as a Jedi, eventually lost to Anakin. Good luck for Wrath or Nox trying to beat anyone of that quality.
  13. I don't like most hoods, especially on female characters, so I like this Twi'lek special. But yeah, there SHOULD be an option to click hoods on or off, similar to hide/show head slot.
