Guys, 2.5 isn't Galactic Starfighter. GS is the new free expansion coming out in early December for subscribers, and February for F2P. 2.5 is and will stay a balancing only patch as far as I know.

I'm relatively new myself, still getting achievements done and stuff so there is some personal gain but yes, I love to help.

His point is that without the CC they would have poor mobility. Marauders have an AoE sprint and force charge, but without the breakable fear, channeled stun and roots, Marauders would be helpless. In fact, with any of those removed one could say the same thing. CC isn't an issue in this game.

Not sure I have the will to brainstorm about an entire expansion but I'd definitely like to see more Hutt space planets and trandoshans as a playable race. It would be tough to figure out helmets (aside from just not using them) but wouldn't mind seeing some pointy toes around the fleets

Why can't people just accept that roles and stereotypes are boring and unrealistic? Let's say a particular sith is, by your standards, an evil and selfish being. Their selfishness can extend to the people they personally wish longevity for. Their selfishness can betray one and assist another out of spite. Their evil healing can be the result of having discovered a long lost profane power that should never have been awakened. How ever someone wants to roll their roleplay is acceptable within the bounds of the established lore, and in this case Bioware established that sith can heal so who cares?

I know WoW's a different game but I've been doing arenas in WoW since they came out. Lots of people said the same thing about ranged and caster classes vs pillar and multi-floor maps, but quickly realized that winning was a different game in arenas than in Battlegrounds (warzones here). The idea is that you'll most certainly have problems being LoSed by melee. You'll also need to use the LoS to your advantage to recuperate and/or escape from who you're fighting. These arenas weren't designed to allow you to hard-cast on your foes. If you use LoS to your advantage, you wont be hit either.

I don't have an answer for you (as I am in the same position as you) but I would also be interested in joining an active roleplaying guild. I PvP and I'd love to sack house Organa sometime soon

I feel you buddy. Right now I'm specced annihilation for PvP. It's really fun/useful for movement, control, bleeds to break camoed targets, and self healing. A lot of my friends are speccing carnage for the burst, CC and anti-cc. Your choice really. Rage seems to be about sustained damage but I'm not sure, never played it. I may be wrong, feel free to correct me. I hope this helped.
