  1. Yeah, I feel you, man. Though I've not spent quite as many credits, the same thing has happened to me.

    - Sweet, a new and better-looking lightsab-Oh. It sounds like glass shattering when it activates. Hello buyers remorse.

I do think they could have done a better job with the lightsabers. Instead of these weird non-Star Wars sounds, only slight variations on the ones we hear in the Prequel and Original Trilogy would have been better. And if this game is all about freedom of choice, the ability to customize sounds is a step in the right direction. If not OP's suggestion, then what about sound modules?

  2. The ability to hear the activation sound of lightsabers when drawing weapon in preview window would be neat.

For me, the sound only plays when I am at the top of the stairs leading to the airlock on the Defender corvette.

  3. I believe whoever this bug may concern should, true to their fashion, work on getting this onto the known issues list.

It is quite jarring to see the headband float around my character's head, rather than sit comfortably on it.

  4. I feel there is plenty of Star Wars costumes and armour available from other Star Wars-related media that would be a lot better for the game. We don't have to resort to genre-breaking to add new and unique items, guy.

Then again; actual Star Wars items in a game calling itself "Star Wars"? Preposterous!

  5. And this is a perfect example of the corruption of the Republic. Abandoning the ideal of democracy is "short-sightedness, LS point farming, or idiocy" It's perfectly okay to accept bribes from the criminal underworld if it's for 'the greater good'? Who decides on the greater good? It's not the people it's meant to protect. A senator shouldn't get to pick and choose what's right without the knowledge of the public, without that you don't have democracy, you have the Empire (or the Republic that will become the Empite) with one leader picking and choosing what is best for the people, not the people debating and choosing.

    It's a slippery slope.

Hm. I guess I did somewhat shoot myself in the foot.

  6. This is what I love about the game, the darkness of it all. Playing a trooper and seeing that all the light side options go against orders given just highlights how the Republic is becoming corrupted.

Nah, I disagree. The light side choices as a trooper are very often to save 'muy poor children' rather than the soldiers who are busy fighting a massive war.

I feel it is not so much a sign of corruption as it is a question of bleeding hearts versus cold, hard, calculating realpolitik. Fighting like Revan fought the Mandalorian Wars; with preparedness to sacrifice an unimportant system in order to conquer/liberate a more important system.

That is why I like Senator Vanara Kayl. As a pragmatic realpolitician, she wasn't afraid of getting her hands dirty for the greater good of Coruscant and the Republic. Any character that has an ounce of patriotism would destroy the holocron without so much as a shadow of a doubt. Choosing the light-side option here, is - in my brutally honest opinion - short-sightedness, LS point farming, or idiocy.
