  1. Hello.

I recently rolled a Sith Assassin. When I unocked Lightning Charge I noticed that when engaging in combat, the effect starts before the character has drawn his lightsaber. I felt this was weird, but as the effect is quite subtle I felt I could ignore it. As my character is a tank, I started using Dark Charge as soon as I had unlocked it. I then noticed that the same "premature" effect happened there, as well, and this time it wasn't very pretty, as it looks as if the lightsaber ignites right into the character's armpit.

My suggestion is to make the effect more subtle. Maybe concentrate the effects to the hands with the sparks flying about or darkness swirling around there instead of the lightsaber blade.

  2. This is not how chance works, guys. A 20% chance of a reverse engineered item yielding a schematic does not mean that out of 100, 20 would yield a schematic. It means that there is a 20% change of a single item yielding a schematic. If the first item fails to yield a schematic, the chance of the next item yielding a schematic is still 20%.

Every item that you reverse engineer is an isolated event, it is not affected by previous events nor will it affect events that follow, chance simply does not work that way. The universe does not keep score.

  3. Let's make sure we're on the same page; "fluff" is something non-essential, right? Isn't that then the ideal place for mods to be in the game, non-essential changes that players may opt into to improve their personal enjoyment of the game without affecting others?

On this point, as I'm not really satisfied with some weapon sound effect in the game (weapons fire and lightsabers, for example), I wouldn't mind if I could change the audio files to personalize my game experience. The only "unfair advantage" I'd have would be greater immersion and enjoyment, I suppose.

  4. Thought so. I'm sure I've seen the trimmed-down model in-game, but it doesn't seem to be listed anywhere on the site I'm using. It may still be an NPC only thing, but would be great to have. Could make for a great carbine.

Yeah, now that you mention it I do believe I've seen it too, I've forgotten the name, but it was probably a Premium tier weapon. I suggested the B-306 Bantha Disruptor sound effect because it's a typical Star Wars-y 'pew pew' sound.

  5. The main thing that bothers me is players who undercut my, in my opinion, fairly resonable asking price by so much that the cost of making the item actually exceeds whatever credits they receive from the sale. Of course, this is only a pet-peeve. As this is a free market, all I have to do is wait until the, in my opinion, underpriced items are sold and then put my things up at slightly lower than my original asking price. This way, I make a profit, and whoever wants to bleed credits is more than welcome to do so.
  6. Not much innovation in there is it? Looks like everyone is wearing this combination. I have to admit, I look at it, because it is cool, but I just hate it how everybody has it...

    I wasn't going for innovation. I suppose I am a traditionalist.
