I am also mostly a solo player and am very frustrated with this expansion. You get Quests "The Resistance" where you do the same quest on seven different planets, heck, how boring is that? Then you get quest that is all PVP which I hate, why force me to do that????? Then you get quest "Stalking the Score" where you are FORCED to group i.e. fight 10 Heroic Bosses on different planets, i.e. not much imagination went into this explansion it is mainly cut and paste. Same kind of quests. Also you have to run for miles/drive to get anywhere, it is all very drawn out. I have really loved this game above all others, but this expansion is, excuse the word, crap

I have done this quest and now want to hand in, it says to go to Major Tso. However, there is no Major Tso anywhere nor is there any indication as to where to go to hand in this quest. In the Daily Quest section it does not even show a hunters hunted quest and when I go to the flickering fist (i.e. where you get most quests) there is no indication of where to go.

Oh thanks a lot for reply. I have been away from the game for quite a while and came back now for the expansion etc. It is amazing how a person forgets, but then, in between all those other games it gets confusing

I need to repair my gear and amor. How do i do that? Is there an NPC?

I have 10 chars lvl 60 and never had this problem. Suddenly I notice that my armor needs repair. But how do I repair stuff? Is there an item I need to do my repairs or is there some NPC that does repairs or what?

It starts right away, those Skytroopers which are endless and yawn yawn, you think " enough already....." and this line goes on with mobs from there on too. I find myself in fights that are kind of stupid and the story takes such a weird turn and you must make stupid decisions and the whole thing leaves me with a bad taste in the mouth....... I am contemplating whether I really want to carry on playing this game! The storyline seems to have been crated by a weirdo.

I started the new section "the Hunt' and in the middle of all the fighting on the initial ship suddenly half of all the skills on my skillbars disappeared. Not only that, I cannot even get to them to drag back into the skillbar because suddenly most of my skills are simply gone! Great, day off work to play and now this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly it is not what I wanted. I wanted more of the original SWTOR which I adored above all, NW, GW2, Tera,Wow etc, SWTOR was the star. Now I get back and it seems so patched together, like a lot of clips they already had and now put to some use. The remainder is cut scenes and it is mainly in grey and shoot a few enemies. I am bored out of my skull. I guess some people love this NEW style, I do not so I will go away. Thanks for nothing.

I agree with original poster. OK I have only done two chapters but if the whole expansion consists of only 9 chapters I guess I can finish the expansion in a few hours! My impression right now with the two chapters is that I am totally bored. Screens jump from one area to another to same and it is so mixed up, dream or no dream. I have 8 lvl 60 chars and if I have to do all of this with all six I will go insane. This game was really my very favorite! so please understand what a shock it is to now have a kind of dream thing in shades of grey!

This quest does not seem to work or the explanation is insufficient: Quest says "confront white maw pirates and there are places for it marked on the map. OK I go to these places and place the flag in middle of those pirates and nothing happens. OK I kill them and place the flag and also nothing happens. So why make a stupid quest that does not work or make false and misleading marks on the map where a person is supposed to go? Is that to make the game longer since ONLY five levels in an expansion SUCK anyway!

I Did the whole long quest of Shadow of Revan that you get first of all in this expansion. I did it solo and enjoyed it very much. But now I have finished the quest and want to collect my reward and I am supposed to "Meet Theron Shan in the fleet cantina". Well, he is not IN the cantina, not on top of the cantina nor underneath the cantina. So that really soured the beginning for me. To do a long quest and then not being able to end it and collect the reward really really sucks. Anybody else had this problem?

So basically it is FORCING you to do operations or join a Guild and hope you are one of the guildies who gets one if it drops. I hate anything that is FORCING you to do things. You play a game which you are comfortable with and that you enjoy, if there were more forced things in this game I certainly would not be playing it any longer. Thanks for replies. Actually I am not looking at making a 'profit' on this stuff on the auction house, all I want to do is supply all of my chars with good stuff that I can make myself. Since all of them are now level 55, the stuff I make needs at least one purple ingredient. The item I make then takes at least two of that ingredient. So I play daily for about 6 hours at least and all of my chars gather. But I do not make enough mats to make at least one or two good items for level 55 chars per char (I have 9) So the odds are pretty bad. Maybe it is a waste of time and money to go into crafting at all. I guess to just go buy the stuff works out cheaper in the end. Thanks especially to the person who told me that for instance items level 9 I will need 'bountiful' or 'rich' missions to even have a chance. That is a big help.

I am wondering what really the odds are of mats gathering via companions! I have maxed all my chars with crew skills and am crafting actively. However, constantly running out of mats. For instance 'Underworld Trading". OK I am maxed out with this companion for affection. I also put the best gear on this comp as possible and this comp 'specializes' in 'Underworld Trading". (Zenith) I have Zenith like this on two of my chars and have been running him for weeks non stop now with such a disastrous result that I want to throw on in the towel on crafting! Most of the time he was 'unsuccessful' after an hour or so being away. Or otherwise he brings in such crappy stuff that I get exactly the same with for instance Mako or similar with nil 'affection' and specialized in something completely different. Buying the stuff on Auction House is uselessly expensive unless you want to be a gold farmer customer which I am not. Makes me wonder where the people who put the stuff on AH actually get it. Is there an exploit to get crafting mats? Is it deliberate to make crafting useless to crafters in late levels?

yes companions getting stuck more and more often (solo). I am actually getting quite sick of it. You cannot enjoy/concentrate on your game because you have to constantly make sure your companion is still with you and not stuck once again after killing last boss, i.e. fighting last boss again on respawn getting killed and the boss appearing where you are fighting your own battle. :mad::mad::mad::mad:

This thread sounds a lot like the person I hate to group with: They tell you how to play YOUR character class, tell you what spells you are supposed to use and what not to use instead of minding their own business and playing their own class the way they want! i.e. YOUR opinion and playing style is not the alpha and omega of how to play a character! Some people like to be individualists instead of cookie cutter people. Read this and weep wise guys!

I have the same exact issue. Actually I first went to search on You Tube and it seems the people in 2012 already had the same problem and apparently after a lot of complaining the devs promised that there would be a fix. Well in Two years there has not been a fix so..... so much for promises. I guess I'll have to cancel out of the quest after spending two hours running around and struggling. thanks a lot......

Belsavis - Quest "Breaking the Herd" Marked as being Level 43 In this quest you have to kill a certain amount of Gang members, among others the gang Gand and then the Gang Anomid. The other gangs are level 43. The Anomid Gang is suddenly a Level 50. The quest is not marked "group" So I ask, what is the idea of this? Once I am Lvl 50 I will be in another area, finished with this area and not feel like coming back to finish a quest which has crappy xp reward anyway! Surely this is a bug?

Ok I found it anyway. In fact you have to go right around a long long way and get into it from the back. The indicatiors on the map are apparently deliberately confusing and they guide you a. to an entrance only for warriors, and the other entry via the Republican camp. Silly me, I did not realize that there are deliberately bad indicators on the map to make you play longer I guess. I'll know next time not to believe those indicators.

I did not read ALL of it but as a 'returned' player I have an opinion on this as well: If you are a "Veteran" player then that means you have played the same game for years and years and would have repeated a lot of the things over and over and over. It is like a guy that runs around a soccer field for five years and then complains about people that do not know every rock on that field, every dimple etc. But those people probably travelled the world in the meantime!. So what if there are noobs that do not know stuff. What? you want only Veterans to play this game?

I had a look in search and did not see any hint for my particular question. I am trying to do this quest but do not know how to even get INTO House Organa. The map shows two areas as being the entry. Ok one area is "warriors only" so cannot get in there. But the other side entry is Republic area and you not only get killed in a flash but then are marked for PVP. I tried and tried and got killed and killed, Tried to get in all around there but no way. Please help.

What a completely stupid thing to say, I guess you are one of those people who "buy accounts". I am an old age pensioner who definitely would not even have the money to "buy" an account with 8 toons level 55 and all with maxed out crafting skills! Thank you to those people who gave very comprehensive replies. Yes, I played this game about a year ago last because I was maxed out and there was not much else to do. I played other games in the meantime and as it goes, you forget how a game worked if you have been away.

I have basically a char in every profession up to lvl 55. I left some time ago and am now a returning player. But I am so lost! For instance with my Inquisitor/Sorcerer. All the skills have been reset. So I thought ok I will basically find it all again based on the icons in my quickbar. But nooooo, the icons in my quickbar show skills that do not appear in the skill tree! And the skill tree shows all skills as 'passive'. So if I am passive the whole time how ever do I get to fight or achieve anything. I stand there like a robot and let my 'passive' skills do all the work? I started a brand new char on another server to just get used to the commands again etc. But my old char cannot give me any guideline or reference of 'what was then'. Advice pls, should I just delete all of my chars and start from scratch? (I'll still have the money even if all armor and weapons would have been soul bound I guess). Anyway, some advice would be appreciated........

I am wondering about the future of SWTOR. With some other online MMORPG's usually there were expansion editions in the works etc and you could play for years. That is what I like about mmorpg's , the open endedness of it. With SWTOR at this stage I notice that basically once you hit 55 you either play in groups all the time or PVP. For people who like solo play there really is nothing much more to do after Makeb, the one quest line. I guess I can do dailies daily but for how long? On Makeb the dailies are just PVP or that stupid searcher droid stuff that does not work properly. Whilst doing the main questline, I sometimes came across quests that were 'repeatable' but I cannot find any quest station that will give me those repeatable quests. So I guess I have to run through the landscape of Makeb to maybe come across a repeatable quest? Anyway, getting ab it disillusioned

I just want to see at least one more companion per class for Republic side. All the companions the Republic chars get are really pityful, I don't like playing my Republic characters any more because I just get sick of those idiotic or weak companions that we get. Empire companions are a hundred times better.
