  1. Cold truth inc. BW doesn't give a **** about balancing PvP, probably never will. If you want a competitive game, SWTOR isn't it. It's never balanced, stunlocks are out of control and there are 2-3 dominate classes that also happen to be easy mode. Another issue with TOR PvP, is balance will always be noticeable, as the game doesn't have a very high skill ceiling, especially compared to other PvP based games. I'm pretty sure the only class I ever found to require any effort is Mara and it's still easy to get good at when compared to other games. Though Mara is at the mercy of the enemies skill more than your own. If you're competitive and PvP in this game frustrates you, due to stun locks, perpetual FotM or cheese like premades in normals, then find a new game. You won't regret it. (No, I'm not angry at SWTOR, I just always see rant threads and complaints in PvP forums and had to post my 2 cents. I still play PvP some, but I'm quitting the game soon anyway. I never found PvP in SWTOR to feel rewarding or be as challenging as games I was deeply invested in the past. Games like GoW, H2, LoL, SC2, DOTA, H3 & TF2, the challenge, skill floor and ceiling in SWTOR just doesn't compare to any of those, even LoL, lol.
  2. Because BW doesn't care about PvP balance, therefore it isn't balanced. Anyone who says it is, well, probably bad. Madness Sorcs are incredibly broken, especially due to how easy they are to play. No, I'm not bias, I've played every class at 50+.
  3. Give us an option to buy the old WH/EWH Relics, which for DPS/Healing gave 139 Power for Elite War Hero Relics (Each), VS the current BiS which is 44-47 power..? This is preposterous, removing an item that's 3x better than the current best, but letting the people who already had them keep them..? Please, explain how this is fair for new people/toons? Always being 180 power below the Healers and DPS who would otherwise be equal geared? This is enough to get left out of an OP, or be ridiculed perhaps. Simply preposterous. 100% game breaking at the moment.
  4. EWH = Elite War Hero BiS = Best in Slot Just for future notice. Highest power on new relics is around 44-47, EWH Relics gave 130+. This is preposterous.
  5. Apparently the items in the Title have been completely removed from the game, unless you had them before 2.0. This is a really unfair thing to do, as these items, at least for Healing/DPS were virtually unchallenged for BiS items, but now you'll never be able to acquire said items if you didn't have them before 2.0. What I ask is that the Devs make these items, or items of the same stats buyable ingame, even if it costs 150+ Elite coms or 300+ Basic/Classic. In no way though should you EVER remove a BiS item from vendors, while still leaving people who had them before alone. This is preposterous, as these relics gave over 3x the Power rating of the new BiS Relics for DPS/Healing. I know this is a rant, but please, let's get our BiS relics back.
  6. As a healer main, normally when something goes wrong and we wipe on easy stuff like SM OPs and FPs it's 99% of the time the tanks fault.
  7. Like the lv 39 Jugg hitting 7k with Smash 1v4ing our team in lowbies who literally got 3 kills in a 3v4 without even a +41 crystal.
  8. So I've been playing a few months now fairly often, which has given me the experience I think I need to make a few suggestions below. Suggestion #1: I despise how limited I am on how quickly I advance through a game by Dailies/Weeklys. Example: The only real way you advance through this game at lv 50+ is to complete a few simple dailies and weeklys, which needless to say can only be completed once a day/week. This is bad because for 2 reasons. #1: Those who are willing to do more to advance quicker are severely hindered and have a small advantage over those who play before work for a couple. #2: Most weeklies require large groups that are coordinated which can be near impossible to find even if you're well geared from my experience. Potential fix: Add new things to do that are repeatable with no daily cooldown and are challenging/offer decent/moderate rewards. Suggestion #2: My opinions above should make it clear I want a long term challenging game that the player decided his rate of progression/outcome by how much time he/she is willing to dedicate to said game. Alright, that being said, in my humble opinion no game, especially MMO should EVER have a P2W system in place. Basically, in absolutely NO way should you be able to purchase advantages in game with real world money. Example: Cartel items/currency. Absolute fix: Transcend your nature and do something right for once, Devs. Suggestion #3: I don't mind grouping with people, but there needs to be soloable options to the group dailies, only make them challenging(though soloable for the average geared player) and take 2-3 times as long as the group HM FP dailies. Note: Problem I've found is throwing so much stuff at fresh 50s and telling them to dive straight into stuff like Lost Isl HM without giving them any information on what to expect/guides on how to perform their desired roles. This isn't a huge deal, but can still be unfair to both parties involved. I'm not really ranting, and could be wrong about things as I aren't the most experience player by far, but these are my two cents so far, but I really want to hear what you guys think about this, so please reply if you've got an opinion.   9. What server are you on? I just got my first 50 also, but I'm scared to do any group things because I don't want to let the team down being lower geared, but there's no way to get geared other than doing group things, which I despise with a burning passion. What server are you on? I'm on BC, if you are aswell you should add me. I figured our a while ago how stats and armor work, but getting blackhole gear and better items is what I'm working towards. I think you should be able to do it all solo. Also I hate dailies and weekly tasks being the primary source of commendations/money etc, as I think you should be able to grind for 15 hours a day if you want, not wait hours for a set of quests to reset, or a week for that matter.
  10. I've been 50 for one day, as it's my first 50 I'm checking out all the new things. I've done all the solo dailies I believe, but I don't like the fact there's nothing I can simply grind for 6-10 solid hours to make money/drop chances.. For crew skills I have Artifice, Arche & Treasure hunting all at 400, but don't know how to use them for money. Any quick replies are welcome & thanks in advance.
  11. Hey there, I'm new to SWTOR, but have played a few other MMOs in the past. I've been playing about 2 weeks and I'm hooked, but I've been having a problem in the past few days with wanting to up my gear. Let me skip to the point here, someone told me as a Sage I would want to take Artifice as a crew skill to get the most gear wise, and so I did. Now 3 days later my Artifice is 400 and I don't see any enhancements, crystals or offhands that improve willpower, so was this a mistake? Can I instead make money with Artifice and simply buy the mods and gear I need? Do I need to Re Engineer things/buy schematics to be able to make willpower crystals and enhancements? Would it be better to drop it and simply consider it a waste of 3 days and get Synthweaving or Something else? Thanks for the response. A different question now, thanks for staying with me. As for leveling I'm only 38 at the moment. I've heard WZ is faster than Questing for leveling and even if that's true would I be better off questing?
