Please accept my apology for posting such a large format (yelling) message yesterday. I didn't mean it to be so large. I'd increased the font size so I could proofread what I posted (eyes aren't the same as they used to be!) and without thinking after reading just automatically hit the "send" button. Once again...my apologies to all.

Don't know what/how this happened. Was playing last night when my screen "flickered" and the game "disappeared" from the screen. Shut down the machine. rebooted and signed back in to the game. Went to the UI and found all my presets GONE! just shut the machine down, it was late anyway, and figured I'd fix it today. Put everything back the way it was and started to play. No sound, no problem I found that right away and fixed that. Now when searching for a power in the tray it doesn't tell me what it is. Have I missed another setting or...

After defeating an enemy I get "prizes" I can't pick up with one or the other of these messages: Gear upgrades and Special Items. Event currencies. Looting the currency would put you over the top What are these and how can I get/use them?

Wrath of VoidWolf Vote of Confidence I've destroyed all the NPCs but it won't let me destroy the cameras, sensors, or pick up whatever the NPC was carrying. Is it a "bug" or am I missing something? My weapons' trays go dark and won't come back on unless I reenter the tunnel to the mission.. Ok found the problem.; bug in my connection and/or the game. Turned my machine on then on twice, problem solved!

How in the world do I defeat Vaylin in that cave? All I'm able to do is run around like a chicken with it's head cut off while she pounds me with the boulders. I get about 25% off her health and my character runs too slow to keep out of the boulders she's dropping!

How so I get into t6his bunker? Destroyed the two Blaster Cannons in front but still not able to enter. Viewed it through the binoculars but don't see anything other than the entire building glowing!

Some people just like to hear and/or read their complaining! So they mad a mistake somewhere. Life will continue on until the error is corrected! :eek:

Thank you to all that offered help and/or suggestions to solve my problem. I looked in the lower right corner and saw the sword I had needed lvl 51 vibrosword. So on the suggestion by one of you who said this character may not be able to use that weapon, went to my storage and switched for a different weapon and low and behold there were all my missing powers. Once again I can't say thank you enough to all for your help

I'm not able to get to my machine with the game on it unit later but I'll give these suggestions a try later today. When visiting the Medical Droids I always use the repair all. I'll also see if I have a different blade in my saved inventory and try a weapon swap. I'll get back to let you know if it works.

I've been using the same blade for the past few days with no problem, and the character has no secondary weapon slot. How do I know if the blade, Corushal Works Heavy Magnapulse Blade, is damaged and needs repair or where/how do I get it repaired?

This is a lvl 52 Sith Assassin Discipline, Deception. The powers that are now unusable are lacerate, Voltaic slash, Maul, Low Slash, spike, and assassinate . There's is no secondary weapon just the Corushal Works Heavy Magnapulse Blade that I've been using the last day or two with no problems. I had just finished Spoils to the Victor and was about to enter the Loramar Cave. I entered the cave and all the aforementioned powers went blank. I entered into combat thinking they'd come back but only one of them worked. On suggestion of customer support I removed those powers from the tray, went back to the interface Editor and reinstalled them. same thing, none of them work.

My lvl 52 Sith has lost his powers and don't know where to find them! I was playing my lvl 52 Sith when 7 of his powers went dark and can't be used. I went to customer service followed their instructions and the powers still don't work. Went to the Interface Editor reset it to the "default" setting and the powers still remained blanked out. Went back to the character and removed those 7 powers then reinstalled them from "Abilities." No still didn't work! Thinking I may have "missed" something went back and redid all the steps over again. Same thing only this time it flashed a message "You need a ranged weapon!" These are "Edged Weapon" powers and this character carries a Coruschel Works Heavy Magnapulse Blade the same weapon it has been using the last 3 days! Any suggestions as to what happened and why it now tells me these powers and weapon I've used for the last 3 days now don't like each other!

Don't know what happened but maybe someone could help. Customer Service tried to help but I'm still having the same problem For some reason my LVL 45 Jedi Sentinel's powers are not activating. Only 2 powers activate and when U use them they take forever to come back. Customer service told me I may have accidentally opened the tutorials in the background by pressing ESC key, press ESC again and if tutorials are opened close them. Not opened, but to make sure opened and closed them. Didn't solve the problem. Next I used the "Repair" function at the game launcher. It ran said repairs were made and program was fixed. No, same thing. The same two powers open at combat, nothing else will open and the two powers that DO open take forever to come back! I hate to do it, but if I can't find a solution I'm ready to delete the character and start over again!

Finally took the step of setting my trusty old Win7 Alien aside and bought a new Win10 gamer, Now I'm having problems with the new SWTOR. Tried "support" and still have problems with the game almost to the point that I'm ready to, after "many, many years" just throw in the towel and find something else. My last attempt to try and fix these problems rests on the players here on the forums. I've watched several videos on You Tube and have managed to set up UI the way I like it, but there's still problems I can't, or haven't been able to figure out. 1. I moved my chat box from where the game had it, upper left corner of the screen, to the lower left corner of the screen. Saved the UI and went on to play. Next thig I know the chat screen disappeared while playing, not to be found in my saved UI. OK, went to another character I'd not moved the chat box, moved it to the same spot then saved it to a different set up. While playing this character the chat box "disappeared" not to be found. While playing this character I also noticed some of my powers were taking longer than others to come back. Checked for lag and it was the normal for where I'm at. 2. In the lower right corner is a round icon. It is, I assume, the responses that determine if the character is answering as "Sith or Jedi" and whether the companion approves or disapproves of the character's action. I can see the icon and the 3 buttons needed to press but cant read/see any of the answers. I tried moving this icon but it is permanently affixed to that spot. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've finally gone to Win10 leaving my old trusty Win7 by t he wayside. I'm a bit confused on one thing and hopefully someone will set me on the straight and narrow once again! Yes, I am an Old Guy and happily admit it! On my Win7 machine when I placed my mouse on a power it told me what it is/was. Having set up SWTOR 2020 on my Win10 machine it doesn't do this. Am I missing something to get to do this or is this a test of "Dementia" built into the game?

Anyone else having this problem? Since the latest download/update from 11/3 (6.1.4c) I haven't been able to access the game. I sign in it goes to the panel to "Play." I click play and nothing happens. Screen goes blank and apparently I get booted. I have to sign back in again, and the same thing happens. Game was running fine until this newest update..I'm hoping the new update didn't suddenly make my Win7 desk top obsolete!

Was about to do a mission on Odessen with my lvl 74 Sith when I had to walk away from my PC. When I got back my Sith was back at the main base and the mission was not in my to do list any longer. No problem, I'll just start over! Nope the mission was gone. OK, then lets start over again. Uh Oh its no longer in the to do list or anywhere in my Que Tried to find the person who gave me the mission but no one was lit up. OK, next thing, I'll just fly back to Odessen. Boarded my ship, Odessen was on my map hit fly and nothing happened. Noticed the Odessen on the map was not brightly lit, so clicked on it and away I went, or so I thought. I ended up back at the main base and it told me I was already on Odessen! How do I get back? I can't cancel and restart the mission, it doesn't show up at all. .

About half way through this flashpoint, Directive 7, I lost the helper robot I got doing this solo with only my companion. I've had this happen before on other flashpoints but I always got the helper robot back.. This time no bot. Is this correct or did I miss something that I had to do to get it back?

I hadn't been on for quite a while and I completely forgot that I had to complete the Corellia story line. I was a 50 but didn't do that final story. DUH! Thanks to everyone for "jogging" this old brain. Now I'm stuck, and will eventually remember and finish the Directive 7 flashpoint!

Got my Sith Juggernaut to 50 but it never lit the last of the 8 panels. I'm wondering if I may have missed a class mission or did I miss some other thing. Is there some way to find out if something was missed or why I didn't get that Legendary title?

...but have been away a long time. Been quite a long time since I've been here and have some questions. How do I get the new game(s) updates and do I lose the characters I currently have in my current games? Second, how do I get a character to the "Legendary" status I've seen a few players are? Somewhere I can read on how to do this.

Since I'm nowhere near a raghoul or even a planet where they're at I never even thought of that. Best hit the medic and get the cure before I turn into one of those ugly critters! Thanks for reminding me!

Green smoke is coming out of my Jedi trooper, he turns green and appears to be barfing! What happened and how do I fix it?

Haven't play in a few months, and today when I turned the game on I noticed all the weapons for all my companions on all my characters are gone. Did they do something to the game? Second question. I notice that no matter what armor or weapon I put on the companion their hit points damage or any other of their other "numbers" don't change. Have I missed that much or am I just !

OK, how does one go about destroying this Hutt Droid on Makeb. One blast of lasers and I'm dead!
