  1. Hello, I am a very casual player. I have maybe 2 hours a night in which I can play the game. But I am curious why did only take me about 2-3hours to level from 52 to 53? I would have thought that the time it takes to increase in level should increase expoentially. But it seems this is not the case. It appears to me that each level in SWTOR takes a roughly similar length of time. This is partly I guess because of the plantary system meaning you spend a similar amount of time on each planet. However it also means it's far to easy - time wise - to get to the new level cap of 55. I've never played the game but I understand it takes much longer to increase level in WOW (probably to the other extreme).
  2. I've recently started playing the game and levelled - all too quickly really to 53 and not once have I found that I'm so low on credits that I can't fly from planet to planet. Even with the new costs I don't see as a problem. If it was 5 or 6 figures to travel around I'd see the problem. And I too see it as more of a landing fee than a travel cost after all there is no fuel in this game.
  3. I prefer Ashara just because she's better against the big guys. Also working with my husband would get tiresome!
  4. I play a Light Sided Zabrak Sith Sorceress. I play her with these thoughts in mind: She was a slave that has been given freedom and power and been allowed to run as far as she could with both. She has that power trip thing going on; when she clicks her fingers she expects people to jump. That's a natural reaction of someone that was a slave being given power (in my mind anyway) and also others react in that way naturally to a dark lord of the sith. However, she also recognises that there are times to kill and completely unleash her fury and other times when restraint and compassion are required. People respond far better to you when you have just spared their lives. She's also married the love of her life and recognises that love is an emotion far more powerful than anger. So for the most part everything she has done has been light sided, but she has her moments when the dark side rises and affects her decisions.
  5. I think different players are going to have very different opinions of ROTHC. For me, as an example, I have one character that was Level 50 before the expansion so the extra content is new, exciting, and I still haven't looked at much of the old content. Also I can play for maybe 2 hours maximum a day if I'm lucky. For other's they'll have multiple level 50 characters and will have experienced everything the game already has to offer and so the expansion may well seem like too little to keep their interest. It's all a matter of perspective.
  6. Lets be honest if you're Level 50 (prior to ROTHC) then you should be in Purple gear with maybe the odd bit of orange or blue. I just don't see the point of Level 51+ green items - if I am using a companion for PVE then I equip them in at least orange items as well. It would be better by far to give us empty orange items at that level than poorly stated nice looking greens.
  7. In the male dominated world of the Sith and Empire I wanted to see how the story of a female slave worked out so I chose to play a female. Nothing to do wirth her curvy figure at all I assure you. (She wears a cloak so I can't see her arse!)
  8. I have a level 34 SS Some of my companions equipment is orange stuff I upgrade the mods on as I go with commendations. Usually jacket and trousers. Khem's vibrosword is green but has mod slots. Adronikas has a pair of identical orange blasters - he got them before he begged me for some. I guess it also helps that I'm levelling Treasure Hunting so get a high proportion of equipment I can check against my current gear and decided to sell, GTN or keep.
  9. I've only been playing a short while and had no problem with Heroic quests what-so-ever. I haven't yet done flashpoints so I'm not saying there is no bullying going on it's just I haven't seen anything of the kind. The only thing I've seen once is someone rage quit a group because another player kept breaking CC.
  10. Every player is NOT using up 12 names on EVERY server. They have the potential to do so but they are not doing so. I'm a new player with three or so characters so far and have had no problems naming my characters I don't see how you can say all the good names have been used up in a universe full of aliens. However, I like the idea of having one Legacy name per server and then being able to name my characters what I want within that and it would be fairly easy to implement in code. I don't like the idea of having that Legacy cross servers though. As for F2P players let them display their Legacy names just don't give them their legacy benefits.
