  1. BW is banning them, problem is they just start a new account. What they need to do is create a chat filter that will block any chat post that contains a web address in it. I do not bother putting them on my ignore list, as like you said your list is full, since they will only use a name for a short period of time. I do not know how long they use one name before it eventually gets banned from being reported as spam.
  2. Second I have a couple suggestions for the gathering missions. We should be able to select what we want to have our crew member go after and not have to deal with a random list of missions. I know what I need or want to get let me choose.

My first suggestion for the mission selection screen using underworld trading as an example.

First you would pull up the crew skills screen and select a companion.

Next you select the mission, in this case Underworld Trading.

Once you select under world trading it opens a menu that has three drop down menus.

The first one allows you to select the level of mission.

The second will allow you to select the type of mission, which in our example would be Luxury Fabrics, Companion Gifts or Underworld Metals

The third tab would allow you to select the quality of the mission. Moderate, abundant, bountiful and rich.

My second suggestion may be easiest to implement and I know has been suggested before is to put in a refresh button on the mission screen.

I understand the concern for the way this suggestion may affect the cost of items sold on the GTN. To alleviate that concern I would change the third tab to where it randomly generates the level of missions available as it does now, only all the missions would be for the resource you want to get.

  3. Yeah. I think it would really help if you could ignore an entire account. If you ignore a character, the account holder will just make a new toon and annoy you with that one. The ignore should ignore a whole account. I think it would get expensive for gold spammers too, because then it won't be a matter of just deleting a toon and making a new one, but then they'd have to get a whole new account, which means getting a whole new license (unless I'm mistaken).

But for the added ease and convenience, I'd like it if when you ignore a character/account that it applies to all of the toons on your account. So that no matter what toon you log onto, you don't have to keep ignoring the same character/account over and over again.

Filtering key words would work to filter out gold spammers' chats, but what if there was a conversation about gold spammers? Then those legitimate conversations would get blocked out as well.

To use a keyword function what I would enter to block a gold spammer would be to put in their web address as the key word. Since they want to advertise their business they will want to put that in their comment. If someone wanted to have a conversation about gold spammers they could still do it as long as they don't mention the web address.

  4. one problem with that, the time it takes you to try and tag someone for an mvp vote may be the difference in allowing the other team to cap a node and cost you a victory. If you die are you really going to take the time to tag someone, or are you going to respawn as fast as you can to get back and help?
  5. I already feel that the 4vs4 WZ should be removed from the unranked que. Most people already leave the que once they see it is 4vs4. Another option would be to set it on a separate que by itself so they can use the balancing system they have for it in the ranked que. Only reason I will stay in a 4vs4 WZ currently is if I am working on daily and/or weekly, or if my team has the healer, which almost always seems to be the other team that gets a healer.
  6. I would love to have a cross faction chat channel. I played SWG for a long time and you were always able to chat to everyone in game regardless of faction. yeah, there was some trash talk, but it made it a lot more fun. The ability to talk between faction allowed us to set up PVP events. We would pick a location, usually a player city that had a base set up, then we would set a time that one faction would defend the base and the other would try to destroy/capture it. I think a cross faction channel would liven up the game a lot.
  7. The problem with that type of system is what about the person who is guarding a node that gets few chances to build stats because either the node that either hardly gets attacked or in some cases never gets attacked. In IMO as long as that person has done their job and called out incomings and held the node should be the MVP of any team and in your system would never get the MVP.
  8. The 4vs4 war zone needs to be removed from unranked PVP. To many times you end up with badly unbalanced teams and a lot of people will drop out when one team has a healer and theirs doesn't. If it is not removed you need to put in a minimum reward of tokens for completing the WZ, say 30 or 40 as there are times you are so outmatched that you never get an opportunity to earn any medals.
  9. I played SWG from start and have fond memories of going on Krayt Dragon hunts, back when you had to have a group to kill them, before NGE hit and then anyone could solo kill them. SWG had several different types of Krayt Dragons. The Canyon Krayt and the Greater Krayt mentioned in the previous post. They also had Juvenile and Ancient Krayts. I feel this should have been the obvious choice for the Tatooine World Boss instead of the Wraid.
  10. I don't have a problem with the guild taxes, but it should be something that the guild can turn off or on.

I do not agree with the rating system, It is hard enough as it is right now to get a group through group finder. What if as an example there are 12 people in group finder for an 8 man group. 8 of them are rated 5 or 4 stars the other 4 are 3 stars, but they were the first ones to join. By what you propose the 8 people ranked 5 to 4 stars will get in while those that should have been next to get invite get pushed out. If you do not like dealing with lower level players don't use group finder.

  11. I could see an op with a Krayt Dragon as the final boss. Could make it where the Tuskens have found a way to lure a Krayt Dragon somewhere and make it attack. In this instance it would be Mos Illa for Imp and Anchorhead for pubs.

You find out about the plot and have to fight through tuskens to try and stop them from planting the device that will lure the Krayt to it's target. Once you have fought your way through the Tuskens you find you are to late and they have already planted the device and now you jave to Stop the Krayt Dragon before it reaches the city.

If I had to chose though I would rather see the Krayt Dragon be a World Boss, Best option would be for the above Op and as a World Boss.

  12. There is another option that I am sure most would agree with, that could cut down on people leaving WZ's. They need to get rid of the group que for regular pvp. This is the number one cause of people leaving WZ's. A pug does not have much of a chance of winning against a pre-made group as they will always have the best mix of profs to be successful. They need to make cross server ques, then they could have 2 separate ques, one for pugs and one for groups.
  13. Here are my suggestions.

    1. No penalty if you leave before a match starts. I know people do not like certain WZ's and should not be forced to play them.

    2. If you leave after a match has started it costs you 20-50 ranked coms. I think this would be more of a deterrent than the 5k mentioned above.

  14. I would suggest that once a match starts take away the option to leave a WZ. Either leave before it starts or stick it out. If someone is brought into a wz that has already started they will have option to leave wz but once they leave the start area they loose that option. The other suggestion I think needs to be done, is to remove the 4 vs 4 from reg pvp unless they can find a way to only invite if they can form balanced teams like they have for ranked.

One thing they could also do is set up WZ invites the same way they are for FP's and not enter wz until everyone has accepted.

  15. Best solution would be to raise the cap on warzone comms so that by time you reach level 55 you will have enough to purchase at minimum the main hand weapon, chest piece, pants and head gear.; That would be 4250 wz comms. we should also be allowed to purchase ranked comms earlier than level 40.
  16. I would like to see The Krayt Dragon as a new Elite World Boss. Why this World Boss was not in game from start I do not know. It can spawn young Krayt Dragons for ads. Can have one of it's drops Be a Krayt Dragon Pearl that can be used as a Crystal in Weapons.
