  1. A long time ago, in a Galaxy far far away, a long-running community of experienced Role-Players existed, that had been around since the beginning of Star Wars: The Old Republic. They now seek those who may help drive the community forward into a new era. Will you answer the call? You're our only hope! We are looking to add new members to our role-playing community. Whether you are new to role-play or have years of experience, all are welcome. We are very casual and friendly, a tight knit group of friends, not a big impersonal community. We offer a general guild story in addition to member-driven story arcs that anyone can attend! Have your own story you want to create? Great! Our community encourages player story arcs. Assist others in their events, attend them, interact in new ways, and make your own so others are able to learn more about you and your characters. Our sister guilds, the Sith Order and the Jedi Order @ Ebonhawk encompass the Imperial and Republic factions. Both guilds include a detailed progression system from the Initiate rank to the Guild Veteran, creating a sense of accomplishment. Force sensitives are not the only role-play offered within our community. From Jedi and Sith, to those military minded, pilots of both official and unofficial license, those hailing from the seedier parts of the Galaxy and back again. There is room for everyone and their preferred style of play! Multiple role-playing events are planned weekly to bring our players together to enjoy role-play and Star Wars: The Old Republic. If our Star Wars RP isn't for you, we have begun expanding to other MMORPGs! Guild Wars 2 and World of Warcraft are some games where we spend our free time when not playing and roleplaying in SWTOR. If you just feel like posting some memes and having some laughs, you are also free to join our Discord server once you become a member! It is not mandatory but highly recommended. To get started, go to our website at http://starforged-gaming.enjin.com to register or look for 'Ashyll' (Republic) or 'Duragonn' (Empire) in-game. Browse our forums and learn more about our guild, our players, and their characters. If you have any questions about our community, feel free to contact one of our leadership team listed on the site and they would be more than happy to help. May the Force, or whatever you follow, be with you!
  2. Greetings! I am the GM of <The Jedi Order> and <The Sith Order>. In-game I go by Ashyll (Republic side) or Duragonn (Imperial). We are recruiting new members of all classes and levels to bolster our ranks! A little about us: Our guild experience is for everyone, be they Jedi, Sith, bounty hunters, agents, smugglers and troopers. <The Jedi Order> for example is not about the entire order of the Jedi, but rather an Enclave called "The Order of the Keepers" who seek to defend and stay as true keepers of the Jedi way. They are allied with the O.S.S., which includes a military branch (Blackstar Batallion) and a non military branch (Ebon Administration) for troopers and smugglers. On the imperial side we have an equally active guild. <The Sith Order> is a Sith powerbase called the Unchained Ones, that employ the help of military and non military personnel within a group called AEON (Allied Empire Operative Network) that provides agents, bounty hunters and criminals as the Sith may need. We have the 4 above mentioned branches for members to progress their character through: Sith, Jedi, Imperial non-sensitive and Republic non-sensitive. Each has a distinct experience to be had, and as members attend trials, classes, RP, write journals or more -- they make their way to becoming more prominent and powerful, going up in rank as a consequence. For example, as a Jedi, when you reach rank IV you'll be at Padawan Rank, which means being assigned to a Master and eventually becoming a Jedi Knight! There is a lot of day to day impromptu RP and planned RP events almost every day (which are stories members or leaders plan for others to interact with through role playing). We certainly take advantage of the cross faction locations on TOR so that both guilds can role play their rivalry with one another as well. We also have members starting up progressive Operation groups, and even some talented PVP'ers wanting to form ranked teams, so gameplay experiences all around are also very encouraged. The point is we have something for everyone to enjoy. We work as more of a self-service RP/Gameplay hub community where you join, meet other people and customize your own personal story and experience within the Star Wars universe, developing a story that is not only lore appropriate but directly impactful for other player characters, becoming truly immersed in the game as a result. It's also great that we are about to begin the Knights of the Fallen Empire storyline, so if you'd like to be there for that it's the best time to join us! (As a clarification, we usually roleplay being one expansion behind the current one so we can lore check everything and plan the guild stories appropriately for further ahead). Our experience as a cross factional community: Our guild is one of the few in the game that goes out of its way to remain cross factional. This means TJO and TSO are ultimately the same guild, but roleplaying in different factions, Republic and Empire. This is great for us because it allows us to develop more interesting cross factional stories, conflicts and events. That being said, you're not forced to join both. You can roleplay to defend whichever faction you like most or is more appropriate for your character, or of course you can put alts in both guilds if you'd rather have the full experience. Regarding RP fights, it should be noted we make use of a home created simple dice system, where the higher ranked you become, the more powerful your character is. People however can feel free to use PVP dueling if they so choose, but it's true a majority of members use the rolling system instead. How to join: As a guild we've been around for a long time, and as time went on we've been in need of new members, as a lot of our older core group got busy due to RL or started to play other games. We however still have a good core following, but we are seeking to expand and we all know with population decline overall in all servers this hasn't been easy. In short, we need new members, and we'd love if you gave us a chance. Our website is http://tjo-tso.enjin.com , and application through enjin is a requirement, because we want to make sure to accept roleplayers who have at least some basic experience with RP, know the difference between IC and OOC, and know how to keep their stories lore appropriate. See you there!
  3. How do I change my locale to the US? I also probably lost my HK bonus chapter since I was unsubscribed for a few hours when I first noticed this issue Bioware should really take this into consideration and do something to help us, its not our fault.
  4. Agreed. 51 is a ruthless killer, mostly devoid of personality. It's also true he stays closer to the concept of what a hunter killer droid is supposed to be. 55 is not only funnier, more reminiscent of 47, and looks cooler, but also has an entirely different approach towards being more of a bodyguard and protector as opposed to an assassin. He has personality quirks and actual character to him. He comes off as more noble and heroic. Mechanics wise they're the same so you can use whatever you like. These are just my personal opinions, everyone has a right to choose whatever they like/prefer.
  5. Kell Dragon mount!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like the one Styrak mounts in Dread palace, maybe different colors too, red would be cool
  6. You have an extremely narrow minded approach to what is or isn't canon and lore. People like you give roleplayers a bad name. If you don't like how people roleplay their characters then just ignore or don't RP with them. If it bothers you the game gives you options you wouldn't consider canon then just don't take those options. Ps. Lightside Sith Warrior is best class story in the game.
  7. Yes, it is much better than makeb. 1- Areas in makeb seemed same-y, with this Expansion places to explore and play are quite different. 2- Overall theme is more to my personal liking. I loved the pirate stuff and I liked the Revan story. 3- Dailies are more fun to do and at times faster, although they give less money also 4- Class stories even if extremely short already make this Expansion infinitely superior to getting absolutely nothing in 2.0
  8. Please add an option for us to be able to add Theron and/or Lana to our list of current companions! Those characters were heavily developed during the SoR storyline and seem to be quite popular with the playerbase. I assume it wouldn't be hard to add those characters as companions from a technical point of the view. Treek made Bioware a bunch of cartel coins and we're talking about a companion that had absolutely no previous story or development. With Theron and Lana you'd have even more players wanting them because these are characters we already know and care for. (Do not read if you haven't completed Shadow of Revan: )
  9. Not running side quests bonus missions and level appropriate flashpoints as you go will have your character become underleveled regarding the story content you're following. More shocking news at 7:00. Blasting through the main story missions shouldn't have you reach level cap by standard. Except if there is some 12x xp thinga-ma-jing going on. I honestly think it could be slower, I'm barely trying to level, just exploring Rishi, and I'm already lv. 56 from killing mobs and occasional dailies.
  10. OP make sure you're not buying the cheap 120 cartel coins packs from the GTN, those don't drop reputation items. It has nothing to do with RNG. RNG defines if you get green blue or purple reputation items, but you should get them (or certificates) with every pack.
  11. I'm loving the new expansion so far! Rishi is beautiful IMO these are good points in SOR that should be standard for any future expansion: 1- Dialogue with companions, even if just a little 2- Class mission/stories, specially if they reflect previous storyline choices our characters took! 3- Open rich environments to explore like Rishi 4- Quests that are actually funny / fun ! 5- Good NPC characters (Lana, Theron...) with good development and recurring appearances instead of nameless generic NPCs that are just there to be quest givers talk 3 lines in some alien language and leave never to be seen again In short good job Bioware, more of this in the future please! The expansion was worthy my money and I didn't even play 20% of it all yet
  12. So for me this ranked season was by far the worst, on a personal level. First a bit about me. I'm definitely not a hardcore pvper and don't really consider myself very good, I also never post on these forums but felt like I would like to get a discussion going regarding this. That being said in the previous two ranked pvp seasons I managed to reach tier II rating and was looking forward to doing the same this time, specially since this is the first season that has tier II prizes I would actually like to get. As soon as my first 10 matches started, I had some really unlucky match-ups. I think I won 5 out of my first 10 matches. Not horrid but was a bit far away from tier II reach. Then I started to queue and was doing somewhat ok-ish. Managed to hit 1295 rating! Great, I say, as I queue again. Am winning the last match. Win first round. About to win second round. Got booted out of the arena before killing the last guy (I kid you not). I mean I was 5 seconds from winning that last match and suddenly - loading screen. Had no idea what happened. I didn't disconnect from voice chat I was using, nobody in my house lost internet connection. I simply got booted. I don't know if this was some lag spike or if my game simply hates me. Whatever, log back in: "You left match early, lost X ELO". Heh, great. I then queue again... lost a bunch of matches in a row, mostly due to bad match ups (ungeared or just bad players kept being paired up with me, proof was I usually was top dps of our team and I'm not even good). I hit an all time low, 1175 rating. Depressed as heck I lost my chance. Needed one more win and lost like 6-7 matches, feeling terrible. Consider going group ranked but realize in my server I barely know anyone who pvps (I'm not in a pvp guild) and even if I got together a team the group ranked queue very rarely pops... Currently starting to slowly crawl my way back up. Currently at about 1240 rating, but it's been a struggle, because at this point I already played more than 50 matches, with both many many wins and many losses, so the ELO changes with every win are very very small, not like at the start of the season when every win gives you a bunch of points. By my calculations I would need to win about 6 matches in a row to reach rating II. Of course I plan to queue all weekend and try my best but at this point I'm getting a little burned out of pvp altogether simply because of this entirely frustrating experience. So, yeah, that's my story. Still haven't given up but at this point I'm sure its a matter of absolute luck and I'll need to land 5-6 wins in a row to even have a chance at the rewards I wanted. Created this thread so others could share their stories, if this ever happened to them (by this I mean (1) getting real close to your tier objective and losing a bunch of matches and falling into ELO hell and (2) being booted out of matches even if you haven't lost internet connection). Another question: do you guys think it would be even worthy to contact Bioware about this? I mean I can't prove I got booted out of the match I was going to win and reach tier II and even if I did prove that they would most likely assume I had a lag spike and got disconnected from the match in which case they'd probably say "it's your fault, we can't do anything about it". But the issue is that i was also using voice chat and other online programs and NONE of them got disconnected... Sorry if it came off as a rant!
  13. Please give us the entire set... Please... They just look so cool
  14. Red would be a very faction-aligned color to give out as reward for both factions... I'm guessing something more neutral is more likely.
