What happened to the CIS, between the end of ROTS, order 66 and OT? The movies only reference rebels/empire, so I'm just curious. Did the CIS dissolve after Dooku's death, and General grievous' destruction?

I'm thinking I might make the reroll your build. One thing though, with the dex being so low will that make me much easier to hit?? As my guy is now he pretty much dodges everything so far. I lasted a long time toe to toe with Marl and bendak with my current build.. And you would recommend using a double bladed lightsaber because it's bugged so you don't need 3 fears into twf or dueling?

I agree, sort of. But, to me, it makes him seem kind of selfish that it took seeing his own son suffer at the Emperor's hands for him to finally act. What about all the suffering he himself inflicted on all the sons of others? I don't know, I'm just conflicted with the character lol

Yeah. It could be interesting, for sure. I'm enjoying my guy quite a bit so far.. Here's what I went with, 14str/15dex/10con/14int/12 of the rest, will, cha, etc. Went scout for free implants level 2. Got him to level 5, going to save the rest for jedi levels. Almost done with taris now. It's been great fun! All though, I'm thinking about rerolling and switching the str to 15 and dex to 14, and making him the bald black guy, so I could role play being mace windu's great great what have you. Lol

Also, I was thinking on the overall plot of KOTOR.. After bombing Taris, why wouldn't Malak just assume that bastila would go to dantooine? I mean he had been there before and even trained there. Seems to me like he would have blown dantooine up immediately next lol

Ahh.. I see! I prefer single saber myself, so that's what I went with. As far as non-jedi.. That's not possible is it?? Once you get to dantooine aren't you required to become a jedi?

I understand, in the end we are made to believe Luke redeemed Anakin. However, this is the same guy who murdered countless younglings in ROTS. How is a character so evil able to be redeemed? And how is he then accepted by the other jedi ghosts when his crimes were so heinous?

I've almost finished with Taris. I just finished the Arena, and plundering the black Vulkar base. Did you know that behind a blast door in the garage is a chest with some VERY nice loot? 2,000 credits, some weapon modifications and plasma grenades.. Can anyone answer why a double bladed weapon is better than using a single blade?

Also, just curious.. Why can't one just use a single lightsaber?

I found a post.. All Jedi get persuade as a class skill. So that's good. http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic/Skills as far as stopping leveling at 2, Ive heard that is preferable, so you get the most jedi points possible.. And companions wouldn't lose xp, because you would still level them up normally, would you not??

I know for a fact that the only starting class that gets 1/1 for persuasion is the scoundrel. I think I read somewhere that all jedi are skilled at persuasion, so perhaps once you hit jedi you get persuasion at 1/1?

KOTOR 1. I apologize I didn't say that first. So, what you're saying is, even if you start as scoundrel, as soon as you pick guardian your persuasions is going to be a cross class skill and still be 2 points for one level up?? Ugh. so I guess there's no way to be a persuasive guardian?? I really wanna focus on lightsaber combat more than force abilities. But I also want to be a persuasive talker and negotiator.

Yep, on my play through I'm only going to level up to level 2 as my first class, then get to dantooine and become a jedi. So I guess I should refine my list. As a light side character, these are the important points: 1.) become a jedi guardian light side. 2.) have a high persuasion score. Would it be feasibly to start as a scoundrel? That way I could raise persuasion for 1 point, then switch to a guardian? On my next play through, I think I'll go dark side jedi guardian, or perhaps consular.

I was thinking about going scout and then jedi guardian after the fact to get the repair up.. But thinking about it now, As a light side character hk47 isn't all that useful anyway. Much more important to have a high speech skill, which the only way is starting scoundrel since the others have to pay 2 points per point of speech. Makes it a hard choice. What about scoundrel, then guardian?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone is still playing KOTOR 1? And if so could anyone recommend to me a great character build for the following? I tried to search for some builds, but I was having a lot of trouble finding anything. Here are the things that I would like to accomplish with this character: 1.) Able to fully repair HK-47. 2.) Able to have a high persuasion. 3.) A Jedi Guardian weaponmaster light side. Using one lightsaber, or two if that is better? Also, do you recommend only leveling up to level 2 on Taris, and saving the rest for once I reach Dantooine, and become a Jedi? Attribute wise, what is the best way to go for the above goals? And Scout/Soldier/Scoundrel to start? Also, as a user who has the collector edition of KOTOR 1 and 2, using Windows 7, is there anything that you recommend installing to ensure a smooth experience?

Hello, I was wondering what the best order to use rep items would be? Given guild rep bonus, and a 12,000 weekly cap?

Not that I really care that much either way, because I don't really care about the Revan statue. But the point is, you would think the pre-order bonus would be much better.

So, basically, they made the far more attractive version super rare in a CM pack drop, when their loyal customers who pre-order get one that is not near as useful, given its size. Way to go Bioware! Ugh.
