I didn't reach level 50 and find out about BP until after it was nerfed but I can still farm about 100k per hour even with no speeder and fewer chests. So I can still earn about as much as some people do from dailies, and that's when I simply vendor all of the drops, purple, orange, trash, all of it to get the cash instantly. So it may have been nerfed but it can still be profitable. I also fight just the bosses and NPCs who drop planet comms. I can get 30-40k creds, 6 planet comms, 72 affection with Jaesa, and 100 dark side at about 20 minutes per run.

When I was about level 20 or so, I started finding that a few thousand credits isn't much even though the quests acted like it was. I learned about what crew skills were and picked up slicing. I made enough that I had about 32K pretty soon. Then I got underworld trading and ran the missions getting tons of the metals. At that point I learned about the gtn and started figuring out how that worked. It was then just a matter of getting enough mats and selling them to those who needed them and could afford them. 4 days after first hearing of the gtn and locating it, I'd made over 800K credits selling underworld metals at slightly lower prices than most others! So it may surprise people what things can earn plenty of credits and how quickly. Just get creative and remember the best method is the one you find yourself! You don't have to be a level 35-50 to make your first million.
