  1. After finishing the balmora class quests with my female agent I right-clicked Sanju Pyne on a whim and ended up in an interactive converastion with him. This surprised me as he was unmarked at the time (no quest icons). This is cool and all but the agent isn't my first char and I can't help wondering how many I might have missed. Anyone know of a list of these events or something?
  2. This right here sums it up pretty well for me. I get that the inquisitor is more independant than other classes in that I'm not following some authority figures commands all the time and I'm basically out for number 1, but it just feels like I'm allways following someone elses lead anyway. I'm sure I'm just being overly sensative about it, but it would have been nice to see a bit of cutscene/dialogue where I do the research and come up with the plan. Dont get me wrong I don't dislike the storyline, its just been a growing irritation. I suppose it makes perfect sense really, considering how quickly we go from (presumably) uneducared slave to sith lord, we're going to be a bit behind our peers in knowledge department until we have the chance to settle into our titles. Edit: And forthe record I'm fairly certian one of the vids/official posts I saw ages ago claimed the inquisitor was inspired by maul and palpatine - which playstile-wise they are. And I suppose palpatine wasn't an evil mastermind in his early twenties either.
  3. I have not yet finished the story, in fact I have only just landed on belsavis and I hope my fears are unfounded. This is mostly a vent to maintain my sanity (nope, not overdramatic at all ) One of the main draws of the inquisitor for me was the idea that it was partially inspired by palpatine. Now when I think palpatine I think of plots and plans, manipulations and lightning... Well... we got the lightning. So far everything I have done has been someone elses idea, we hit a problem? Get the crew to find a solution. Do we do our homework to find out about what the upcoming ritual does? Nope, we take it on faith that it will work exactly how we hope it does. Oh crap, the ritual had unforseen conscequences, lets ask the ***** who essentially tried to kill us to find a solution rather than find out ourselves. I just feel very powerful but not very bright, I certianly do not feel like darth council material. Why do I never seem to come up with the plan, why do I jump into every situation almost blind. I am falling so far from the palpatine Image I had in my head. I hope this changes at some point (even if it is in some future expansion) and I can chalk all this up to being a former slave thrown into the deep end of sith power plays and strugling to tread dark water and learning some hard lesons in the process. Mini-Rant over... Not sure it helped any... /sigh
  4. No idea but for some reason it FEELS right to be an evil sith / good jedi. Maybe its the opressive imperial music/archiecture or maybe its the kinda harsh sounding voice acting, but when I see that DS diologue option it just calls to me... I have tried to play a light side sith and I allways delete them before I leave korriban. The same can be said for dark jedi, I just have a hard time bringining myself to do it... Maybe I'm just weird. Get the feeling I'm not the only one though
  5. I Dissagree with this statement, sith and darksider are not the same, over the course of the game we havee found jawas and nekghouls weilding the force but they are not jedi. Jedi and Sith are essentially religious orders, weilding one side of the force or the other may be a necissary part each order but each is an orginisation, with codes of practice and hierarchy. We should - in my oppinion - be able to draw out her passions, make her hate and fear us, insite her to strike out at us in rage turning her to the dark side. None of this requires her to stopopposing the sith, rejecting their code and wanting to eliminate them (If we can induce such hated in her - bengal moor from JK storyline prime example of this) It shouldn't be easy, and it should take us a long time to get to that point but as many have said I just feel we aught to have the option to go down this route
  6. Ooh, I like this idea, esspecially since I am an altoholic. I tend to switch between chars a lot and forget what came before in the story in the weeks since I last used a char, forget why I'm looking for *insert npc name here*. A chance to speed run through the story missions again once it was all over would be great.
  7. The fact is we are all individuals, we all have our own idea of what the done thing should be. No matter how any of us comport ourselves someone will be writing an angry forum post about it. Why invest so much of your time over it? Is it really that important to you? Just call them a dick in your own head (or out load to your monitor if that makes you feel any better) and get on with enjoying the game. No need to make a big production over a momantary anoyance. Take that how you will.
  8. Not sure about the rest of it but I like the notion of force effects changing with alignment, A light sider throwing around lightning is just odd. So a LS5 sith using telekinesis would work for me, DS5 knight force choking someone? Hell yes. Even if all they did was change the colour of force effects to represent the chars developing corruption/redemption, it would make your choices seem that little bit more visually impact-full. Just my 2 creds
  9. Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I'd like an option to limit dark side corruption to the eyes. i love my sith yellow eyes on my twi'lek, but i refuse to let that crimson skin wash out as I reach DS2 and above. *sigh* Anyway, I'm not sure ship redecorating or moving companions would be all that practical, seems a bit of a waste of time to create all that for a ship you don't spend all THAT much time inside. While I like having hoods it would be nice to have the option of a bare head. Anyhoo my 2 creds
