  1. Friend and family have used and suggested my sharing my legacy tracker, and so .. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YfQuOfue8ihbHT0kj8njsWNYqBmzISorn_0ExugZXM4 and https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bKWceRqfcE8DpB-F4b6mYO_zj8qbnVPqZAcm1nl-NZY https://drive.google.com/open?id=1AIQv4XgVqb4Ljk62RcyhsjHx8AtLYKba Legacy Tracking sheet Stocks Shares Tab Legacy Wealth – Whether we’re talking about a new outfit, or mount, or awesome weapon, it’s good to know how much money we have. My system for me is simple. Big Pie is divided, and by level and amount of participation my characters (‘toons) can claim a piece of it as theirs. Everyone gets some, higher level ‘toons get more, crafters get even more, and so on. Liquid Resources - How many credits are in the legacy bank, ATM. Gathered Goods - The gathered goods, desh, rubat and so forth inventory’s value. Not what you could sell it for, what it’s worth if you dumped it into a vendor. Its’ absolute value. Legacy Goods - Things we buy, just to sell. Speeders, armor, etc. And not what we hope to sell it for, but what’s worth if dropped into a vendor. Legacy Debt - When a ‘toon wants a mount, or weapon, and needs funds for it, subtract from his ‘Deposits’ column until 0, if more is needed then put it in the ‘Debits’ column. Legacy Level Average – Just for curiosity’s sake # Republic / Average Levels – Just for curiosity’s sake # Imperial / Average Levels – Just for curiosity’s sake Archealolgy, Bioanalasys, etc. – Number of ‘toons that are gathering each. Sometimes I need to know which toon to go to get stuff, sometimes I’m trying to figure out which ‘toon to run with my wife’s ‘toons that gather such and such and sometimes I just want to know what I need when making a new ‘toon. Teams. This can be easily ignored or deleted. In our family, friends, & guildies circle, we make teams for leveling, for fun, and frequently Ops teams. (Yes, we team up without them sometimes.) But some groups run together, and sometimes get team uniforms or mounts, etc. Alright, I have 4 kids and a wife that plays! Truth be told though, guildies and friends get into it too. To use this part, go to the ‘Tables’ Tab, leave B19 blank, and from B20-B28 Put in team names. (Make the list longer or shorter, etc.) We had a ‘Bones’ team with Booth, Dr. Brennan, etc. A ‘Diablo’ team with all the top demons and angels from there. A Hole in the Wall team with Sundance, Butch & Emma. A Firefly team with Zoe, Wash, Mal, Jayne, etc. And so on. Next, goto E18-E27 and put in player’s names. (Make the list longer or shorter, etc.) Character Tracking – CL – Companion level = the highest affection that ‘toon has. Status – What chapter / expansion that ‘toon is on LD – Light 1-5 / Dark 1-5 (Wife wanted it) Name – Level – Role – DPS, tank, etc Specifics – Gunnery Commando, Balance Jedi Sage, etc. I have to apologize, I have no male sorcerers, so the label is sorceress. Feel free to fix Hidden Spec I25-I70 – OPS character. 49 ‘toons, I have to prioritize who gets the good stuff. Just put a ‘y’ or ‘n’ Crafting / gathering - Who does what. Who gets the schematic, who gets sent to gather ‘Polished Chanlon’. What ‘toon is going to have the best shot at getting what. Account Credit – Total value of the ‘toon’s share in the Legacy. Debits – When spending for that toon, ie gear, vanity items, pets, legacy unlocks, etc. First subtract from his ‘Deposits’ column; if that reaches 0, then add the rest to this column. Deposits – When a ‘toon is a bit flush, he can add to the legacy slush fund for the banker to try and make more credits with. Shares – How many shares owned by that ‘toon % of Wealth – How big a slice of the legacy pie does he own. Shares Value – The wealth of the legacy dived by the # of shares, times the amount that the ‘toon has. The next part is just easier if you will highlight columns W & X and change the font color to ‘White’. (Change it back later to look better) Hidden Spec W25-W70 – Put an ‘I’ for Imperial or ‘r’ for Republic. Hidden Spec X25-X70 – Put a ‘y’ if they’re a crafter, else ‘n’ Gathered Goods Tab The Idea here is very simple – put in the how many of each item you have. Legacy storage is awesome, heh? The absolute value will calculate automatically. If you do auction them, put the price, and you can see profit, etc. Legacy Goods Tab These are things I regularly sell. Inventory, price bought, what I could vendor it for, and so forth Crafting Tab Sometimes when selling, you need to know what it costs you. That’s what that table is. The chart is just so I remember who makes which augment, and what they’ll need..  Teams Tab Use drop down to put in your team’s name, then the player’s roles / names, class, & level. Hidden Spec I6-I65 – Put your name in the statement =IF(E="XXX",0,G) and copy it down. That will make the accounting on the main page’s share work out right. (Otherwise your shares accounting won’t come out right) Jobs – Inv Tab I have 49 ‘toons. (Hi, my name is Bob, and I’m an Alt-aholic) I need a place where I can check off who did what event, who is carrying what inventory, and other such notes. Gem Colors Tab Total Non-Sequitur that I need. Off the wall, out of the blue. This tracks what color gems I already have, which are unlocked, and which are being carried for some ‘toon that might want it. (5 kids, a wife and guildies, trust me, I needed this.) Not really a legacy thing, just a “I need to keep track of these!” thing. Tables Tab I Like to see how many commandoes, how many Jedi, and so forth. And a chart that tells me I choose RDPS 46% of the time.  That’s just all about my curiosity. (And what to choose when picking a new ‘toon.) May the force be with you all, Bob Sunrider Legacy on Satele Shan
  2. My fellow gamers, I have just returned to this game I have loved / hated, campaigned for, recruited for and disparaged. (Hold the applause until the end, please) And I looked Iokath, looks interesting, but ran back to warm up in my beloved heroic star fortress fights. I know better than to try alone, no matter how well equipped or go there without a well versed partner. I walked through the mechanics and expected loots. We jumped in. … and survived … And .. what happened? Did it get watered down? Did someone take the loots out? Is there a replacement weekly that tough, interesting and pays well? (Don’t talk to me of PVP, I suck at it. Or rather, the other players in realm are REALLY good.) It was cool, totally surviving the run on her first time, but what the heck? Always a pleasure, Bob
  3. Apologies. Found it. Shift - E Please delete thread, Bob
  4. OK, my healer turned 60, went to the ship, but the start of Knights of the Eternal Throne start isn't there. I went to fleet, asked around , relogged. No Joy. Does anyone know How do we start "Knights of the Eternal Throne" in 5.0? Thanks in Advance, Bob
  5. When they changed the money I told them my kids would drop, 3 did. Now we went from 8 players in our extended family to 3. (I'm one) All of us are pissed enough to cancel our subs. And BW needs to know and either answer my complaints, or we can go play wow. WoW sucks, but at least we have friends and family there. (That used to be here) So, Gear is our biggest issue / complaint. Working and grinding to get 1 empty armor, a companion gift, and a 500 credit reputation bonus over and over is pissing me off enough, and making me feel like it's all worthless. I can pay multi-millions per piece of decent gear that others are making, and keep grinding and hoping I get something useful next time. And it's crap. Now, they can friggin' ignore me and KMA, or publish something promising a fix. Frankly, I'm starting to think they want us cleared out.
  6. Bull Crap! When they changed the money I told them my kids would drop, 3 did. Now we went from 8 players in our extended family to 3. (I'm one) All of us are pissed enough to cancel our subs. 7. I don't complain often, but that server roll back cost me in auctions, it really screwed some of my crap up, and I'm still fuming a bit. Was this really done because some people found an exploit?
  8. Aside from the Star fortress missions, is there anything else you can do to get these crates? I'm collecting them as well and 6 crates will obviously not be enough. Bob
  9. And the wife came up with a question I hadn't considered. What if you transfer a character to a server that has a legacy? Do you still get to reactivate a stronghold and have the rooms, and decorations you had on the first server? Is there a blending? Or does the most privileges win?
  10. That was fantastic news, seriously. Thanks. Now to pick the new server, and buy some cartel coin cards for the family.
  11. We have a large family of players, (over 10) that are finding Harbinger to be an excellent server for GF and being a PUG, but really crowded, and occasional waits to get online together. We have spoken a lot lately about moving to another server together. But if I move my 'toons, I can't stand to think of losing my "Tatooine Place" I have 10's of millions put into making it the hangout place for our extended family of players. And if not, is there an option you guys would consider selling me? Maybe 10k cartel coins to move a legacy intact? Thanks guys, Bob
  12. What's going on with this? this has gotten ridiculous! Release the app, It wouldn't take more than a day to make or port!
  13. Great guide, thank you. Good advice, seriously. But is there any way I ask you to update those skill trees? they don't show up correctly, because the program updated Thanks in Advance, Bob
  14. Being a Microsoft employee, I can tell you we have groups over here that play and a lot of us are grumbling for the security key app for the phone! You can't tell us it would take too long or a huge amount of resources to make. Windows phone teams have been more than willing to help. Come on, enough with the excuses and silence, give us our app! Bob
  15. Even if I have to pay a couple bucks it would be worth it Bob
  16. Go tell that to a Harley owner. (Hint: Wear a flak Jacket)
  17. Probably in the wrong area, but here goes. I have an Aratech Lux and a Praxon I was going to list over the weekend, in Begeren Colony to raise money to buy the Hoverchair I want. (I can get the red & gold from the cartel certificates) But thought maybe someone might want to trade. (Hech at this point I'd just about be willing to go get another one to throw in the deal!) Let me know if it sounds good, Bob
  18. Found new guild-home, and learning this game from scratch! C-ya out there
  19. A long story made short is that I used to play Entropia. (Amonoa Sunrider) For about a year and a half, I played in our family guild with the kids, my dad, brothers, etc and I did alright. I joined a different guild, and started hanging with and learning from some awesome players, (Thank you Andy, Adam, Stabi, Atrax) and became a ranking player, as my kids started to mature in the game, they started joining and we all raised our level of play, and found some great friends. (Why we all play MMO's, huh?) I have avatars in the family society that can craft and help the kids with missions, and stock the guild bank to make sure they have what they need. But I'm ready to step out of the family sand-box, and move into a larger community, make some friends, learn, teach, etc. They really can't join us in our current game with their 30th lvl'rs now anyways. So yes, I'll be filling out an app with the Eternal Guardians. TBH, I think I tried to join them when I was about 30th level and was rejected because I was already in a guild. And I'll add your avatars to my friend's list. I hope to see you online tonight after work. My Avatar is Huppert, and the wife plays a 55th lvl Jedi shadow (She can respec too) named Ged-Sparrowhawk Thanks, Bob
  20. Howdy, I'm a player with about 7 months of playtime & 22 avatars on Begeren Colony. I have myself a new 55th level Commando. (Can respect on the fly to DPS or Heal) And I'm seriously ready to up my game to a new level. I've gone to a few hard mode flashpoints and been flamed seriously for my poor performance, and even won awards at PVP for most deaths per minute! So I would like to leave the nice guild I made for my family (8 of us playing) and join a nice group that would be willing to mentor a new 55th lvl that wants to kick world boss' butts, wipeout hard mode flashpoints and rule the PVP field. I'm hoping for at least a semblence of family-friendly, while my ears don't bleed at every profanity, and I don't blush at off-color subject matter, I am old enough to not be interested in reading pages of constant, unceasing descriptive cussing, or crap about somebody's parts I was never really interested in in the first place. (I get enough of that from the news) We're very active players online most nights and weekends. My characters in the Spreadsheet below are updated, the wife and kids are a little less anal about such things https://skydrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=9A0A216B3ABF402!420&cid=09a0a216b3abf402&app=Excel&authkey=!AN5qHTYSu30TkqA Hope to hear from you, Bob Huppert
  21. Well amoungst the things that bugged me, was less the space travel costs, and way more the planetary commendations limits, pvp changes. I lost a lot, as I had commendations on many worlds. I am a subscriber, they could have offered me a little more storage, some time to spend them, etc. But I like that we can now spend them in one place. Crafting is a real issue as well. And if that's just me and my little family whining and the developers / community is sick of it, then fine we can just mosey along. Respectfully, The Sunrider Templars The Order of the Bat'leth (The Family Guilds)
  22. Oh, I definitely agree about voting with the wallet. And my letter was meant to be a dire warning. My 6 month is up in june, and if the kids drop out, I lost my motivation to stay. The other kids are already asking for subscriptions to the other games like marvel, etc. (We give 6 month subscription for Honor Roll) And the wife's is monthly. And I'm asking the kids to give it a shot, not just drop a game on a whim. And I do know that I'm complaining about what others are, but 3 kids and my very adult wife are ready to just quit without much complaint. I think the game designers should hear that. Maybe my group isn't a perfect sample, but they did look at the commendations change, the pvp change got played about 3 times, with loud and constant complaints. Then, they walked away and started looking for something fun to do. I don't think our 7 players will kill them, but how many are walking away without a word? If the older kids find a "fun" game, you know the younger ones will join them. BW may make a few more pennies squeezing players a bit, but taking the fun out of a game is death knell, IMHO.
  23. I never said it was. I did say, that my kid, that said that, felt there was no point to her wearing the very fine pvp gear she had been collecting. Everything balanced as it is now. And I have read the thread, and my complaint, that with the caps, and leveling and added expense they have taken a big part of the fun out. and if my 3 oldest just got fed up, I wonder how many others are too. That's the point!
  24. And I completely forgot to mention the other big grumble. PVP. Warzones was a family sport, we have charts and contests in the family, and the changes did not go over well. "Wearing gear or not is pretty much the same thing", "It doesn't matter what level you are anymore", and more comments like that. What were you guys trying to do? If you'd just put plays of close to the same level together, the waits might be a bit longer, but what you were or what you were wearing would at least matter, and be something to be proud of or work towards improving.
  25. A little background, stay with me a sec. Our family has 7 players. 3 subscriptions, 4 preferred. (And if their grades continue to go up, there were more subscriptions coming.) We deposit $20 - $80 a week and pass out stuff to the kids as rewards; unlocks, packs, etc. So I'm telling you as someone that is watching your audience, that 3 of our kids are deciding to go play something else now, and my wife is fairly upset about a few things. And the worst of this is, they are not complaining to you, they are just leaving. I understood that to have classes go up some re-balancing had to happen. The skill trees adjustments were inevitable. OK, minor whines, complaints and some 'ouuu wow, goodies'. But of all the grumbles I've heard in a very vocal family, that just a few days ago were loyal to the end fans, here's two that are more than just grumbles. . You have made crafting so ridiculous, I'm the only one left out of 5 that still does it. And I don't do much anymore. You honestly need to rethink your economy, seriously. Is it all going to be based on cartel coins and commendations? Is there really going to be a point to being a crafter? Will you make credits at it at any point, or will your stuff always be trumped by something someone can do some missions and just pick up? . Space travel just got so messed up and expensive my oldest girl told her sister she didn't want to spend that much to come help her. I told her to take it from the family guild bank, but hopefully you just saw a trouble area there. We have 1 space mission player, my son. He's ticked that he has to pay such high new fees, but the mission only pays once. He just quit. I understand you want to stop credit farmers, but now making credits got a little too tough, and everything just got expensive. That's not how you make a game more fun. (And if the kids go, My wife and I will likely follow.) You really could be killing your game, are you brave enough to make a few changes, that might cost you a little but keep the game fun for the players? Or just slowly bleed fed-up players? Give it some thought.
