  1. That is NOT an excuse. They're running a game business, not a novel publishing, so the engine is the main selling point and should be made priority ON TOP of the scripts and/or any other matters. Make sense, no? Besides, if they are able to waste time thinking about realizing SGR and other frivolities such as seen on the Cartel Shop, they should have been able to make double time fixing the engine. It's their main responsibilities to the customers. Proper, no? Come on....
  2. Such nonsense triviality. Wouldn't they'd better be busy busting ***** fixing REAL MATTERS complaints such as this, and so many others? I don't get their thinking sometimes. It's like they are living on another planet.
  3. Just want to state some facts after having been a subscriber for the last two weeks and playing it almost daily, up until now: Server is VERY UNSTABLE. I play in Asia PvE Server (Dalborra). I can't count how many times the experience of crashing to desktop, lagging and unresponsive controls during battles that result to being death--all due to UNSTABLE SERVER, plus additional facts below. Keyboard and mouse control are very awkward, stiff and non-conducive to the action-based nature of the game. Suggestion: must apply the free mouse look feature (without having to right click, as in FPS games) ASAP. Loot windows suddenly pop up in the middle of battles--especially with many enemies, combined with the aforementioned non-conducive keyboard+mouse control, leads to inconveniences when fighting--particularly against enemies that move/jump around a lot, or even those standing behind players. Misleading depicted targeted levels of planet and/or quest difficulty. One has to actually be at least 5 levels above the depicted targeted levels to win fighting enemies--especially bosses, and thus eventually completing the intended class mission quest (HEROICs are of a different matter, perhaps). Additional grief: Despite the "common agreement", I personally--and many PvE and/or story-focused [casual] players are finding it highly illogical to have the "only used once per battle" rule of Medpac. For this particular matter, please at least apply a different rule for PvE / Story-Focused [casual] players. Heck, make it exclusively for subscribers, if necessary (and perhaps preferably by the dev/pub).
  4. Is there a petition thread or something similar somewhere. I vote for this. What's more crucial is the idiotic situation one is trapped in with the current control during battle/fight. It's just silly not to implement a free mouse look (without having to right click) in an action game. UNLESS of course, if SWTOR is made to be truly computer-based fight control like in KoTOR series, where one just needs to point an enemy and then sitting nicely watch them fight.
  5. Not enough. There's been too many cooldown craps already. At least, differs it between PvP n PvE/RP playing/server.
  6. Why not this: offer an option on the setting/preference whether or not one wishes to use Medpac only once per fight. Slap on a prestige stamp or something, whatever. Just give people OPTIONS. Especially for subs!
  7. I am a sub. I have many grieves about SWTOR. One of the chief among them is this: please allow the use of Medpac MORE THAN ONCE per fight, or banish the restrictions altogether so one can use it as often as one wishes per the amount of Medpac available in the slot. What's the big idea behind this restriction, anyway? I am a casual player with focus heavily on story, not some super player with a lot of techniques blabla--especially NOT with that SLOW keyboard movements and/or mouse looking with having to click the right button, loot window suddenly pops up in the middle of a fight, enemies of the same or below one's level but having insane HP and cranked up stats.... GAH!
  8. My other Alt is in another server, does that count? I just thought that with Auto Loot and/or Area Loot on, it means literally all items are automatically picked up, so one can sort it out later at leisure from their inventory window. It's very distracting and annoying to have that looting windows pop up in the middle of a fight. Especially with many enemies. I got kicked in the butt sometimes because of that. Also, it would be very nice if one could have one's mouse for free looking left+right+up+down without pressing the right button or using keyboard--which is [very] slow. Like that of FPS control. I know of some complicated unofficial tricks to do so, just wondering why has it not been implemented officially. It's also pretty crucial, IMO.
  9. I see. That's rather unfortunate--if not misleading, ya. But never mind, then. Thank you for the response.
  10. It's been only a week since I started my subs. If I may, I would like to ask, what is the definition of Auto Loot and Area Loot in SWTOR? I have made sure those two options are checked with my settings/preferences, but still my Alt has to pick the items up by himself, every single time. Shift+Right Click? Done that. Doesn't work. How do I make the items automatically collected without my Alt picking them up? Thanks in advance.
  11. So? What's your point? This is my 2nd post in this thread if you read it right. I'm expanding my previous answer, yeblockheadswtorfanboywannabe.
  12. We know how it's going to end if this keeps on piling up, right? Like those SIMS addon fiasco (judging by the useless and forced contents towards vanity). Eventually the majority WILL get fed up, and that would be the end of SWTOR--if not even already and have only been holding on by a thread for the sake of BioWare's Star Wars, like me. Another stigma and scandal that--at least--be VERY hard go away for decades--especially with a name as big as Star Wars. It's just so unfortunate because it actually doesn't have to be this way. At all. All these milking, misleading, fooling around with crackpot contents and trapping monetizing system for profit's sake--it's stupid! Even business-wise. People--at least me, understand that the providing companies (studio, publisher, what have you) NEED money to survive. And at least I, do not mind lending a hand properly by supporting financially in returns for the joy I get from playing the game. But please do so honestly: Create truly useful contents with reasonable prices and for all levels (from one to fifty as per the level cap)--not just for certain high level characters. Believe you me, some of use will actually buy those religiously, aside from the ones they've got from in game. And funny enough at that that it's sometimes for vanity's sake. Create more story contents as the REAL money-pulling of the business beside subscriptions. Trust me, we never get tired of playing new stories. Make them episodic, perhaps, like that of Walking Death or whatever, as long as it works, make sense, and fair. Trash the stupid and contextually incorrect Legacy System. Any more ideas...? Really guys, I love BioWare's Star Wars, and would really like to see it flourishes for more years to come. But the currently stupid system's killing me. But then again, what do I know about game business, right? I'll shut up from now on and just play. >sigh<
  13. I guess that means they're desperate..... or oblivious to the fact. All the while asking, "Why do they hate us?" Sad.
  14. About $15. I took the one-time bi-monthly subs about a week ago. This is amazing for me because I have NEVER ever taken any MMO game in 40 years of my life, until now. I did it solely because of Star Wars and my experience playing KoTOR series years ago. The game is GOOD. Love the story and the usual galore of BioWare distinctiveness, but the monetizing system it's standing on REALLY needs an overhaul, as it's just "this" close to ruin the game itself, IMHO. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying, but so far it does seem rather forcing, lol. WAY too many vanity craps on Cartel Store, instead of selling REAL useful stuff like armor etcetera. And even when those are available, they are mind-bogglingly expensive and limited only for certain high levels, or even more ridiculous (for me) is limited by Legacy level. What is this Legacy blabla anyway? In what context does it has the uncanny power to limit items and equipment--both in game and Cartel? My Cartel purchase was practically wasted. At least for now. That's all for my rants. The rest of the game, I love it, or I wouldn't even bother writing this at all.
