  1. Personally, while I don't think the dreads in the cartel store are that bad, I feel like they don't look good on women. To me it's as if it's clearly modeled for men and just pasted on women aswell for the sake of accessibility. Talking about these by the way: http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/swtor-appearence-option-dreadlocks_thumb1.png Personally, I would love if we got another style that's more suitable for women aswell. Longer, thinner dreadlocks that look more feminine, but still rugged enough to make it suitable for smugglers, bounty hunters and what not. Now, I know the main issue would be clipping. But honestly, that's an issue with longer hairstyles in general. I don't see it as a reason to not consider it. That said, if you put the hairstyle in a high ponytail it'd make clipping far less of an issue. I'll use this picture from another, quite well known game. Merely as example to help people understand what I mean. http://i.imgur.com/qPbxDqU.jpg But instead the hair is actual hair ofcourse.
  2. It's a rather tricky situation. You see, I finished the mission called Multiple Fronts. After finishing the dialogue that would trigger the next mission called Traitor, I accidently abandoned the mission while the reward screen from the previous mission was still active. I am now unable to pick up Traitor and Alderaan's Story Arc for that matter. Tried re-logging, tried quitting the game and then coming back. Tried leaving Alderaan and coming back just in case. Nothing worked, I can't pick up the mission anymore from Jorad Thul in the Palace or from the guy in the Space Port, where you'd otherwise start the Story Arc. There's nothing about it in my mission log either. So I'm pretty much at a loss. My character is level 60 and pretty much way overleveled for Alderaan's original level anyway, so I guess it's nothing game breaking. But still, feels like a bit of a shame that I'm missing out on the dialogue and story. Guess I should pay better attention next time.
  3. Thank you both for the input, it does give me a better idea of what I can (And want) to do with this character. branmakmuffin- I suppose I'm always very careful with my character, I try to make sure everything I do is lore friendly. In some cases, I feel like I need confirmation for that whether I really do or not. Even if in this case, it's solo RP apart from the IC storyline that happens outside of class stories. No worries, I know about this. I just meant ''Imperial Agent'' just like that. I prefer to stay away from unique titles such as Cipher 9 or The Emperor's Wrath, for example. I keep that seperate from the RP in an open and shared universe, so to speak.
  4. Apologies in advance if this had to posted under lore instead of Roleplaying, I wasn't quite certain. So I have this Twi'lek character, in RP she's a Cartel Agent masquerading as dancer. That said, I like to feel immersed with the class story aswell, apart from the RP outside of it. For me, this is like an ''alternate'' solo RP. But I feel discouraged to continue the class story, as I feel kinda awkward as a Twi'lek, doing the Imperial Agent story. I don't quite know if it's lore friendly or not. Which is why I created this thread. Is it possible for a Twi'lek to be an Agent among Imperial Intelligence? I've asked a bunch of people in game, and I get mixed answers. I get told that Twi'leks are basically the lowest of the low within the Empire, and that's it impossible for a non force sensitive Twi'lek to be allowed as an Agent and Operative of the Empire. On the other hand, I'm told that Imperial Intelligence has a role in keeping order within the Empire. And that they're pretty much professionals among professionals. That they value capability and doing your job above species and birthright. I admit, my knowledge of lore in this particular area is lacking. So I don't really know the answer. I was hoping to ask the forum on their opinion. Would a Twi'lek have a chance of becoming an Imperial Agent, or is it impossible? She's at a rather low level, haven't even finished Nar Shaddaa yet. So it's not a big deal if I feel the need to start over with a more lore abiding character.
  5. Alot of games feature long hair where it doesn't flow. (Especially mmo's and that's understandable) It's not exactly the most realistic but it's acceptable IMO. It's something I myself could easily overlook. SWTOR already has some hairstyles which would also flow otherwise in terms of realism (pigtails, the other longer hairstyles), looks a bit odd if you pay attention to it but I myself would get used to these limitations without any complaints. Granted, it might be a tad more obvious with what I'm suggesting, but I find that it's reasonable despite the limitations.
  6. I agree. A clipping problem with collars, mostly. But otherwise it's probably not too bad. It doesn't have to be too long if it contributes to the clipping issue. If it falls slightly over the shoulders, I'm happy.
  7. Don't get me wrong, the longer styles that we have right now are not bad. That said, I'm not too big on the large and curly hair we currently have. The ones with the braids aren't bad, but they're not really fitting for my characters, personally. I would absolutely love to just have simple straight and flat hair available. Nothing else to it. Like this, just reference material. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/a9/4f/af/a94faf2f76ce194f24c1e42ddb7e3cf3.jpg It's not a really demanding suggestion in my opinion. Because it's so flat and straight it's probably unlikely that it'll clip alot. But I'm not certain.
  8. Wouldn't mind fur coats, if my Rebel Punk and underworld bigshot could flaunt black furs in all her eccentric majesty, I'd be a happy man indeed. No Ewoks were harmed making these virtual items.
  9. I don't exactly visit the forum often but I do feel like mentioning this one. The all in one ''My life is horrible'' package I see so many people with this backstory that's just overly cliché and melodramatic. Seriously, I'd walk around and find groups of people who's parents got killed, was raised in poverty, got scarred, was bullied yadayadayada what not. It's awkward because many of them try to convince me that it's original. In the meanwhile, I can find dozens of other people with the same background. One time, a person even mocked my character for being an idealistic Rebel ''punk'' (As in the slang) even though she wasn't raised in particularly bad conditions. It wasn't exactly easy for her, but she didn't nearly starve to death or whatever. Could very well be that I am too critical, but it irritated me regardless.
