I have quit TERA, SWTOR, and stopped playing even my favorite game kotor 2. I have meditated on the matter and wish to improve myself with worldly things. I reached a turning point last night. I can't continue this way. I have my chance... I am saying it here because this is the only forum on the internet I am part of and some people that I like here. That may not like me perhaps, but I like them. I am a person who is very honorable. Honor, courage, commitment, sacrifice and respect with overall general well being of the human race is my life's code for myself and is how everybody should live. Stop bickering over pointless things that does nothing but cause drama and stress. I have decided to remove myself from gaming all together. All my games are now deleted, as much as I love them. An opportunity has risen for me to move to Colorado. There I will be far away in the mountains and foothills for me to start what I have always dreamed of doing my whole life since I was a small boy so I can help people. Make a real life Master's Retreat. Within this Retreat there will be people, just like you. Have help guiding yourselves down a path that leads to only righteousness and overall common good and well being for yourself and others. Then, in time YOU will be a master over yourself. Hence "Master's Retreat". I will find those who think honor also and are committed to make this a reality so we can take people in who are either mad, confused, depressed, just need help or don't get it and make them see they are more than what they think they are. I will be somewhere in Colorado and if you want to find me in some years time, because it will take me a while to set this up, you will know how to find me. Follow the flames This is 100 percent no bull. I am dedicated to this. I have just not done it yet because I'm stuck in suburbs of Chicago and have not had the necessities to start my dream. Well, the time has come for me to finally do it. It will take a long time but with hard work, determination and courage, I will build a Master's Retreat for people to release their inner self and overall be a better human being to work in unison with the universe so you feel better about yourself. This will be about strengthening yourself as well as others around you as a whole and making us work together better. In time you will see your mind. And when that mind opens, you will be one with yourself. I just thought I would say this to give hope. Know that there are still good people in this world who put others before himself. Know there are people who live not just for money. Know there are people who do nothing but go by honor and sacrifice. There was once a time when even YOU reading this now, even if you have become bitter, knew there would good people. It is time you know it again. I, along with I'm sure many others are here for you. Do not worry about what we are going through now. The world is in an identity crisis and we have lost who WE are. We must work together as a human species to live on this planet. Do not let others that are bitter and selfish change who you are. Be one with yourself and in time one with the universe to open yourself up to others, those in need. Our age right now is all driven by what society thinks of us. Do not care what society thinks of you. Do not be a sheep. Be your OWN PERSON. Know yourself and better things will come. Do not fear the future also. Do not turn away from yourself. I leave you with this. Always follow your dreams. I almost gave up on my dream and thought I was going to be stuck here forever. When an opportunity arises you to either move from your past and start anew so you can be a better person, or if it arises for you to start that dream. TAKE IT. GRASP IT and let any good energy come of it. Because when you are old and sitting in a home somewhere you WILL regret that you did not do that thing to make your dream come true. Yes the force is real and this is not a roleplaying post. This is me, this is 100 percent real and I believe that if you harness enough energy within your mind and turn it towards, honor, courage, commitment, sacrifice, respect and overall general well being of you and those around you.....YOU will be a better person and in sync with your feelings and the universe. Ok for all the people saying they are making more money off the CM than subscriptions you are probably right. Then, why would you need a subscription plan if are making money of the CM more? Wouldn't you be completely f2p and have the Cartel Market decide where and when you are going to release content so people can get their kicks while not doing much for subscribers and completely giving f2p people what they want? They should just make the whole game f2p, lift some of the restrictions and say "SWTOR goes completely f2p" like AION did. Because ya know...like...they make all their money from the CM, who cares about subscribers. If that's true, what a damn pity and shame

And to the ones who said I had my expectations high: Kotor 2 is my favorite game of all time Star Wars is my favorite thing in the world BioWare are my favorite devs kotor/kotor 2 soundtracks are my favorite osts Choice/Decision the way they are in kotor together with the atmosphere I LONG for in any game I LOVE mmorpgs I LOVE The Old Republic Era LOVE voice acting! So when I heard they were coming out with a Star Wars MMORPG set in The Old Republic era, decision making in real time regardless of end outcomes or not, voice acting, you get your own ship and it is going to have ALL the kotor/kotor 2 themes that match up with what you are talking about in a certain mood and it had everything I love.....wouldn't you be a little excited? cmon now, wouldn't you? I think so. Be truthful to yourself now.

You don't have to be such an inconsiderate, ignorant person about it. I feel I needed to make a post leaving because I care deeply about the game and it's hard to leave. Some people makes posts because they want either comfort, people agreeing with them or some type of thing like their playing mattered. BTW, I don't play mmos like I used to. WoW sucks, rift sucks, and I played SWTOR for my rp kick and TERA for my combat pvp kick. So don't be so quick to judge (as most people do) and think just because somebody is typing something on the computer that means they don't go outside. What if you are actually the one that doesn't go outside and are trying to put it onto somebody else they are actually the way YOU are and you are telling them they are THAT WAY so you don't feel guilty about what you are doing. Like I said, if things change I'll be back. But if it continues to go this direction. I will not be. No need to get all defensive and start with the accusations of throwing crap around designed to start things and get people in an uproar because if you want somebody to tell you off in a nice, mature way I will be happy to be the person that does.

That is what is wrong with most business owners. You should be in it to provide a service and make people happy and overall a good satisfaction THEN your reward is the money. More of the societal BS drilled in most people's heads that think "it's all about the money". That is what is dooming us in the first place.

My name is Brian. Some of you know me as Sarfux, but I stopped playing the game for a while and went off that account. I had some personal things going on and also working on my game, which is taking a hiatus right now because I need programmers etc, but that's a different story. So I came back, started fresh with Skyrison, made new characters and played the game that I have dreamed what an mmo was like. Kotor 2 is my favorite game of all time. Something about it just connects with me. Yes I know BioWare did not make kotor 2 but it's based on the same exact type of gameplay. Something about choosing what you want to say in real time regardless if it effects the outcome at the end of your story or not does it for me. I love choice, the more customization the better I say. I love BioWare, regardless if they are owned by EA or not. I don't understand what the whole "HATE EA" nonsense is but w/e. I love Star Wars, my room is a very nice setup of everything Star Wars. I study Jedism and also meditate in real life. Great for your soul. So this was "my game" so to speak because it had literally EVERY SINGLE THING in it that I loved. Plus the GREAT music from kotor and kotor 2. I love those games, especially 2. So I have been a part of this game since VERY EARLY on. One of the first testers. I have been playing this game ever since. I love it! But something has been....troubling me lately. I can't put my finger on it. Perhaps it's because I have been playing TERA a lot with the combat system to where I can't "get into" this combat anymore. I still LOVE the stories and delete my memory and put myself in different shoes EVERY time I start a new character. I really do. That's why I love the game so much. I think it has to do with the Cartel Market and the direction of the game is going. Instead of getting lots of content they seem to be more interested in the Cartel Market than anything else. It would have been very nice for subscribers if we got RotHC for free including the species that come out for free also. That's what they should have done. But to be nickle and diming us for things that a monthly sub pays to play SHOULD get to make it seem like their money is worth something is wrong to me. Yes I understand the world is about money but that is not at all what things should be about. and it's a very sad fact that is isn't all about Honor and Respect together with the overall well being of the human race. If you like money SO MUCH, money should be the end result ....a "reward" so to speak for the hard work and dedication of something YOU MADE or helped making to make the people using it VERY HAPPY so in the end you get the money. They shouldn't be looking at everything with a business viewpoint. That is bad. You need to make sure people are getting what they want, without trying to please everybody, with being dynamic, along with putting things in that most people in the genre you are in, want. They shouldn't be putting things in just because there is a cash shop because it creates revenue. That's the wrong way to go about it. Quality + Happiness + Dynamics + Fulfillment = Money not Fluff + Mediocre + Thinking about money = Money (that's wrong) When you make a product you should NOT be thinking "how much money can this make?" you SHOULD be thinking "how can I make this product better for the people that are using it to make them happy?" There is a big difference thinking about money or thinking how you want to improve and the end result is money. The Market is a thing to do one thing. Make money. I understand a business wants to make money but it should only make money if the people are happy enough and willing to make a contribution so it stays afloat. There are lots of psychological things this game does that makes you go "oh my...god THAT is an AWESOME piece of armor! WHERES MY CC I NEED THAT!!!!" and trust me LOTS of people do that. That's why revenue has gone way up. It's the "OOOO SHINY!!" thing in your head, it looks cool it's only 5 bucks GET IT! I don't really agree with the way the game is headed. I like it back in the beginning of free to play and before Rise of the Hutt Cartel and to be honest I was a little irked the wrong way when I had to pay for the Expansion 10 dollars even though I had been subbing and was loyal to this game. It should have been free for subs along with any species that comes in also and all that. But I guess the times are just changing or they are VERY GREEDY! They already get 15 bucks a month from tens of thousands of people. Why do they need more if they are not greedy? I really REALLY love this game and have been here since the beginning before beta. It has everything I want in a game, an mmorpg to. But this constant releasing things for the Cartel Market and not focusing on the direction of the game and doing things mediocre sometimes is getting to me. It's an mmoRPg. I, and many others, play these games to fully immerse ourselves in another world why are there no customizations for your ship, chat Bubbles, sitting in chairs around the world. Day night cycles. I know you wanted to keep your art work looking a certain way but that's half the fun of a game! To see the style change with the coming of different parts of the day. It's what actually keeps some people playing believe it or not. A lot of people don't like static things or repetition. They just want to be immersed in a world that is living breathing, dynamic, changing, the sun is setting/rising and just do that stuff. I just want to say that it is a shame that TOR doesn't have any of that because it would be the PERFECT mmorpg if it had dynamic every changing events on planets, random invasions by Empire or Republic npcs that you had to defeat along with sunrise and sunset. I have unsubbed as of yesterday. I cant believe i just said that. Thought I would never say that honestly Which breaks my heart greatly because I LOVE THIS GAME! But the direction I have said in my post I do not agree with, for now anyway. Maybe something will happen in the future, even a month or two from now that will change my decision. But for right now I cannot continue to subscribe. You will probably see me in the future though cause I am optimistic the game will keep getting better. Chat bubbles would bring me back honestly. But still it will break my heart to not be playing. I really love this game and those who have been here from beginning like Andryah, who knows me know I REALLY love this game. I still don't understand the hate of EA. I think they will make great Star Wars games. It seems some people, most actually, are just on the hate bandwagon for EA and even if they make great games they will NEVER admit it because they hate EA. Sad :/

Nothing in there does it say you cannot die regular armor. It's already assumed that you will be able to dye the regular armor obviously. If you could only dye crafted armor it wouldn't read Modify the color of your armor sets with Dye Modules which can be applied to all crafted gear above Level 15 ! it would read Modify the color of your armor sets with Dye Modules which can only be applied to all crafted gear above Level 15 ! But they haven't said it that way. They are just reminding us that it can also be applied to crafted gear above level 15. No need to sweat

I already proposed the Hutt Cartel months ago, even before that when I had Sarfux and gave hints to something happening with the Hutts. Came true. I already have models and everything on what they could make the Hutt Cartel a faction. I won't go into it now. Just look at my posts. I know what you are saying though. The civilian thing was just me thinking what would be very unique for the game.

This civilian, or something to that nature idea would be a GREAT thing for the game. It would just fit. You don't need to choose anything if you didn't want to. If you wanted to heal anybody you wanted, you could. There are just so many possibilities with something like this. I will lay it out more possibly in more detail to.
