It's been a decent year, glitches,bugs,poor decision making.... Canceled a day after 1.6 It's been real. And it's been fun. But it hasent been real fun. Peace out homies.

Lol I wouldn't even classify this as a proper expansion. 1 measly planet with (if it follows suit with the rest of the planets) 3-5 class quests and a few more for planetary arc, pfft should have been more like 3-6 planets IMO and cost between 30-45$ to me this is insulting.

but the 'p' is so far away to be useful =( i guess you can slam your face in that general area of the keyboard every 15 seconds.

I like how people try to defend this. Lets say me and you are good pals, we dine out at Burger King frequently. One day we get an extreme hankering for a cheese burger, so we go out only to find its extremely busy today. So we wait in line for a good thirty minutes or so, place our order, and wait another ten minutes. Then we notice a guy dressed in a nice expensive looking suit walk through the door and up to the counter and overhear him order the exact same thing. Then to our amazement in under a minute the manager goes to the back makes his cheese burger and hands it to the guy and he's on his way. We exchange a look, then I speak with the manager asking what the hell that was all about. To which his reply is "today we started a program that if you pay 20$ on top of your order you get priority service and don't have to wait in line to get your food. I return and tell you the tale of what just happened and you simply say "well he's got the extra money so eh what ever it didn't effect me." Or "he must really hate waiting in line." You see Swtor is like fast food, there are many like it, this is just slightly different, and when you offer special service that gives one paying customer priority service over another paying service, you as a business are going to piss off a few customers. And some, like myself, wont stand for it and take our business else where. Is it still good food? Sure. Do you want to support a business that sees their customers as nothing more than a few dollar signs? I don't, that's why I make a big stink about it.

I want to know why someone/anyone that has more money laying around, than I do as a "subscriber" should be entitled to buy the items they want with Actual cash (talking exclusively about endgame items such as crystals and ship parts) Why is your "extra money spent" more valuable than my subscription fee? Why should that grant you special privileges to skip content? Aside from the response "well I should play how I want...And that's how I want to play..." My response to that statement would have been in the past, This game is not for you then. However Bioware's decision has actually shown me this game is no longer for me. I am done trying to look out for the better interest of this game while they keep making bad decisions. I have stopped talking this game up to friends to get them to come back, and I am now jumping ship. Do I want to? No, I do enjoy this game, but I have standards and when F2P was announced I told my friends when they start offering endgame items (of any sort) for Cash, I am out, I was blindly hoping they wouldn't be that stupid, but I should have realized my 15$ a month wont effect their income with the amount of freeloaders, and lazy people with more money than time on their hands. And to those of you who are trying to say that those of us who are saying its a P2W with these changes are now Hippocrates, its BS, I payed a subscription fee to have UNRESTRICTED access to the game, how it was designed, that is not paying to win, your choice to not pay this form of "guaranteed" income doesn't make my choice to, a pay to win option. Move along.

First you don't have to buy "my" items at "my" price there are other crafters that have acess to much more mats than I do which over time will drive the price down. See supply and demand. I'm not trying to corner the market, just play the game how I want, what kind of one way street is that!? Plus there is another way to get the items rather than fleet come, wait a little while and buy them off the gtn as more and more people earn extra fleet come and supply extra parts to the community. I am not saying you shouldn't get to play the way you want. What I am getting at is, because you have extra money laying around than myself or others, doesn't mean you should get special privileges in skipping the grind coming from a subscribers pov. Just because you don't notice the price of inflation doesn't me it doesn't exist. Yea it fluxuates daily but it still has an effect on the over end result.

Probably with me direct depositing my paycheck into their bank accounts. /shrug

So I am not going to lie, I started this thread as a sort of Troll post, however I think I am going to jump on the bandwagon, and really advocate this. I have roughly 2 hours a day , five days a week to play. More on my weekends, I want to be a F2Per and just buy my endgame gear, instead of grind, since I don't have the time to be as competitive as i used to be/have, I would happily lay down a 40$ purchase to buy a set of Pvp and PVE gear, since I dont have the time to raid anymore, and grinding sucks, but I still want to feel competitive. I feel that I have put in my time, and now I want to cheese my way through it from now on.

Yea forget the community and economy who needs it. While we are at it lets just make everything available via cartel coins cuz grinding sucks and is pointless. What I hear when you say "let me play how I wanna" is let me buy credits cause I don't want to grind endless dailys cause I don't l don't like to do that stuff. See where this line of thought leads? Sorry but pulling money out of thin air is bad for the econemy.

They still have no place on the cartel market don't want to do the grind? Spend credits once they are crafted or earned by other people who do the grind. Why is that such an appalling concept? And this could effec me as I am a cyber tech and what you did just cost me a potential sale.

That's my thoughts on it anyway, take it with a grain of salt, the Cartel Market should only contain COSMETIC ITEMS only, this is just fail.

The backlash of people who are subscribers who decided to voice their issues with letting this happen, then threatening to unsub or just unsubbing to prove thief distaste for this action. But it seems the typical quality control effort is to simply close and remove a thread. Problem solved I guess?

It maybe a mini game, but its another step into the direction of Pay4highlevelgearsbecauseIwantitnao, They obviously don't care about the content players have for this patch regarding the Ship parts or the holiday fluf, the lack of developer comments makes that much apparent. And why should it matter if some Tom, Dick, or Harry spends their "earned" money on game items, it surely doesn't effect your ability to earn....or buy it.

Funny that's what my wife said when I told her my plans for my account. And she doesn't play any games....

I think they abandoned that ideal a long time ago. And players with that mindset are a thing of the past unfortunately.

So since I can buy all my top end space ship parts with cartel coins, why not let me buy Elite War Hero pvp gear packs, and Dreadguard gear packs with Cartel Coins too? I don't see the harm in it. And any lost subscribers would be easily accounted for by sales generated through this method. It's a win/win for everyone unless you are like me and think there should be a grind for the top end gear. But I am all for this "new" direction.

I am not a fan of p2skipContent mode nor P2win or pay-for-convince. Keep the crap on there cosmetic only! And really making holiday crap cost CC are you freaking kidding me?! How do you take most of what you got in this game from WoW but leave out 99% of everything they did RIGHT??? Jfc /facepalm
