  1. Thanks, I >AM< a dedicated crafter on 3 different servers. I do agree with your assesment of the 1.5 minimum and ideal 3 support : 1 Crafter. Why does every other mission skill have two RICH's except slicking on 4/6/7/8 ? I'm simply pointing out an unbalance in one skill area. If I have to have 5+ characters to compensate for what might simply be an oversight on balance - and every crafter out their does too - doesnt that point to a broader issue than each of us having to band-aid our fixes? How about just fixing the game instead?
  2. On grades 4, (not 5!) , 6, 7 & 8 their is only ONE 'RICH' mission available and the rest are lesser rewards (bountiful and below) or the other material returns (lock boxes). Considering that these materials are required alot when making Tier 3 (purple) mid-level items such as modifications/enhancements/armor it makes for a very slow process to gather these materials for crafting. While I do appreciate that it drives the GTN prices (I have made a fortune selling them!) I do not know if this was intentional or an oversight on mission selections. All of the other gathering and mission crew assignments typically have two RICH types of returns - not slicing. My work around is to have another character with Slicing as a crew skill, but it's a band-aid, not a cure.
  3. Same issues... Solution: dont expect any replies to any tickets, they simply won't as usual... leave and go to your ship leave Zakuul to anywhere, go back to Zakuul land RESET the Quest - no shuttle will appear - no PLAY will appear Go back to your ship Now you can hit PLAY and try again.
  4. Happy to hear SOMEONE is getting lucky, I am hitting zero/100 this week on them off Jung Ma.
  5. FOUND THE SOLUTION / REASON !!! I ran into this myself, but having the extra characters to test it - and confirm it - I did discover something: ONLY my characters that had SCAVENGING as a skill set were able to pick up the [Cormium Crystal Shard] Evidently, their are TWO requirements to get this item: Level 50 SCAVENGING I am a Master Crater and NONE of my characters with any of the other Skill Sets were able to gather the Blue Crystal EXCEPT for my Scavengers. Why does it take a PLAYER to find a solution??

  8. CONFIRMED ! Broken for us too...get to shuttle, button on side of shuttle doesnt work. Clearing the mob near near the shuttle caused the guide pointer to disappear during the battle.
  9. Thats what I am slowly figuring out: When I look at the RATING of an item, it list its stats as 1 way - yet when you look at an item from its item level, it list it another. The TIER of the item is more based on the master component level than the individual parts, it seems. I guess once I have dug into it deeper, I think what I should more accuratelly ask would be: What are the RATING Tier Breakpoints for individual items? At what RATING is an item considered Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3? When you select your crafting que (Armstech in my case) - you can filter them by RATING - where are the break points?
  10. This is where it gets confusing..I have seen those break points before, but...a level 32 item (listed as Tier 3) only breaks down into Tier 1 components. My target components on a reverse engineer are the actual Mk-x augment components: Mk-2,Mk-3, etc. Trial and error: I build/reverse engineer: Item Level 32 = Mk-1 Item Level 54 = Mk-2 Item Level 82 = Mk-4 I will assume Item Level 54> thru <82 will yield the Mk-3's. Its crude and expensive and yes it works but no its not cost effective nor help me understand.
  11. I have searched the forums and cannot find a descriptive explanation to what exactly a Tier x (re: Tier 2,Tier 3) item would be, what would be a corresponding item level for this: 50-80-100 ?? I am in Armstech. My target item is actually the Augment Slot Components Mk-2 (and beyond), available from reverse engineering TIER 2 weapons..but it seems no matter what item I build/reverse engineer, I always wind up with Mk-1 parts. I am assuming I should be able to look at the Item Level of any part and be able to tell what tier that item is - what are the magical breakpoints for the tiers?
