  1. I'm not sure if the developers didn't think the story through, or if they simply didn't plan it ahead & they made everything up as they went along (which wouldn't surprise me, considering that's how the SW movies are being handled) but Vaylin's hair really irritates me. It's obviously blonde in the Blur cinematics, & although we can't see it in KotET, her outfit accurately resembles that which was seen in the cinematic as well. So we can infer that her hair is blonde, eh? So why would it be brown in the KotFE? For the sake of consistency & accurate storytelling I think this is a simple fix that would be nice to see.
  2. You guys have massive, game-breaking bugs with comp AI in a game that puts a huge emphasis on solo content, & your priorities are preview windows? Dawg...
  3. I've encountered a (new?) bug with companions. Melee comps set to Tank will not use standard attacks, they will only use CDs. Until one of their main abilities reaches the CD, they stand there passively & do nothing. I've tried this with four different melee comps & it's always the same. However, ranged comps set to Tank will use standard attacks between CDs. This is ridiculous. The companion AI is completely broken in several ways & its affecting gameplay, especially when there's so much focus on Single Player gameplay right now. This should be the top priority, not preview windows.
  4. Yeah exactly. I was going through Ossus & I made a jump perfectly fine, but for some reason I hit a "slippery" spot on a rock & flew off back to the bottom. Insanely frustrating. The slippery edges, clunky movements, & non-responsive jumping have been an issue since launch.
  5. For a game that bases many of its puzzles off of jumping, the jumping in this game has always been atrocious. Slow, clunky, & often unresponsive, you'll find yourself simply running off an edge instead of jumping when you told the game to jump. There must be a way to tweak this.
  6. The DPS check is insane & the rest of the FP is painfully easy compared to the initial fight. It needs a fix. What kind of dog is that thing anyway? It's crazy.
  7. I've thought for a long time now that the VG/PT Tanks could use an extra ability or two to mix into their rotations, just because they don't have that many. But there's a glaring issue that needs to be addressed. Stockstrike/Rocket Punch has its CD reset upon chance when defending an attack. This means if you open with it, you may be able to use it right away again. However, this chance procs even if you haven't used it yet, so you have potentially wasted a passive CD without intending to. Ion Storm/Firestorm has its CD reset upon damaging. So you can open with it for massive damage & potentially use it again extremely soon thereafter if you hit the 50% chance mark. But by then, you've likely already defended an attack, & wasted a Stockstrike/Rocket Punch freebie. I love opening up rotations by using Ion Storm/Firestorm once & then using it again immediately after, however, this is often impossible because using Storm/Jet Charge has a 50% chance to give you a proc'd Ion Storm/Firestorm. So in a perfect world, you could open with Storm/Jet Charge > Ion Storm/Firestorm > Stockstrike/Rocket Punch > Ion Storm/Firestorm > Stockstrike/Rocketpunch. However, due to the nature of the way these abilities are used & granted for free, this is rarely the case. You'll either be using one or the other first, & one or the other is going to be wasted due to a free proc, whether by defending or doing damage. I believe the best way to solve this issue would be to ensure that these abilities are not granted free procs only until AFTER they are used once before. That way you don't waste a free CD. Thanks for reading.
  8. The problem with this is that the comps are often lacking behind you in distance by a much greater distance than that, so you still have to wait for them to catch up.
  9. It's also extraordinarily inconvenient to have to watch your comp come close to you on the mini map until they're in range to fight. That sacrifices your attention & rotations while in combat. It's pathetic how much hand-holding the comps require because of this bug.
  10. The comp AI issues is still present & I do not see any notes for it in the 5.10.1a patch. What gives, guys? This is getting ridiculous.
  11. Guys, this is *********** ridiculous. It has been over a month now, & the melee & ranged comp AI is still entirely broken. It makes trying to complete solo content extremely tedious since you are forced to micromanage your comp's movements to make sure they're in range & capable of aiding you in battle. Where is the fix for this? I haven't seen it in 5.10.1a's patch notes. Still waiting for a reply.
  12. I understand that altering live CM products is a rarity, but these are products people pay for. If you get a broken product that you pay for, you are due a refund or a repaired product. I understand the issue of complexity in repairing the hairstyles themselves - but would it be simpler to re-release all of the affected hairstyles in a corrected state, & reissue them to people who already have them? I think that would be a simple & effective fix. Even if there are duplicates, you'd at least have one version that works as intended.
  13. It's a little hard to see because of the compressed .gif but the skeletal outline is extremely noticeable on screen. And as I've said before, the outlines around all the objects are sometimes viewable through other objects as well.
  14. No, my system's in perfect health. SWTOR is the only game I'm having this issue with.
  15. I let Windows update whenever it needs to. Last one was 2/15/2019. There's a Feature update available now for Antivirus but that's all.
  16. That could work. Rereleasing the hairstyles themselves with the corrected color. I like it! It took someone who is colorblind to come up with the solution a problem about colors. Ironic.
  17. The shadows aren't turning off, I'm toggling the GUI. What you're seeing turn on & off are the weird outlines around all of the objects.
  18. Hmm, so I turned off Enhanced Shadows & Ambient Occlusion with the NVIDIA Control Panel & the outlines appear to be less prominent but they are still there. My GPU & drivers are all in perfect health. Here's a DxDiag link for any help.
  19. Although this isn't the answer I was looking for, it is an answer, & I appreciate the in-depth response. I was worried it was simply an oversight that wasn't being addressed, but I now understand the complexity of the issue. I look forward to seeing any progress on this & any new CM hair styles that will be properly colored. EDIT: As suggested already in the thread, perhaps rereleasing the hairstyles with the corrected color could be a workaround, rather than having to tweak the existing ones? I of course have no idea how much legwork that would require on the CM side of things. Thanks Eric, Dewy.
  20. This bug, or GPU error, seems to be related to the in-game shadows. However I can't seem to tweak the shadows enough to fix this without turning them off. Just about every object in the game has a weird silhouette around it that vanishes if you toggle the GUI. There are also instances everywhere in which objects become transparent, & you can see the outlines of other objects, PCs, or NPCs through them. In the main menu I also noticed what looks like a skeletal outline of my character's abs that also goes away if you turn off shadows. It's pretty obnoxious because it also greatly reduces the visual quality of the world, since everything is darkened with a grey shadow around it. .gif examples. I've had someone on Reddit suggest tweaking the Ambient Occlusion but that did not work. Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

  22. This issue has been long unaddressed. Hair color #10 is black, but for all Cartel Market hairstyles, it appears as this awful, swampy, green color. I have tested it with all of the hairstyles & it remains the same. However, when compared to vanilla styles, the hair is the appropriate black color. I would really like to see this fixed.
  23. Exactly. Let the CM Companions go on missions & obtain the same bonuses to their crew skills based on their Influence like everyone else.
