  1. I have both and enjoy both, but I like my operative more. I just can't get over all the constant stabbing and slashing of concealment. It's too fun. They were pretty squishy before 3.0, but have got some nice buff since to help with squishiness. If you aren't rooted as a concealment then you really shouldn't die with roll. I think the burst is fine, even though it would be nice to have double back stab, but I'm sure that would start a QQ train so I'm fine without it. My suggestion: roll both and enjoy. Both have more of a hit and run burst spec (deception and concealment) and both have a more sustained dot spec that can still put out burst (hatred and lethality).
  2. Wish I could help you out, but I have had zero energy management issues with concealment since 3.0. Haven't even had to use adrenaline probe. That being said, I really only do PVP and can't speak for PVE.
  3. Ive had crippling slice hit for 5k once. Probably a *** bolster affect, but still happened. Usually around 3k though. Overload shot usually around 4k. Totally not worth the energy cost.
  4. Yeah I don't bind overload shot. Maybe if it had half the energy cost. Even then I like the knife animations better anyway. I am an operative after all and knives are why I chose it.
  5. The way buying end game pvp gear works is thus: unranked comms can be used to purchase unranked gear in the pvp section of the fleet. You can then trade in the unranked shell plus the appropriate ranked comm amount to the ranked pvp gear vendor to upgrade to ranked gear. So first you need the unranked set then you can get ranked. The actual names of the gear can be confusing since they change so just think: unranked gear and ranked gear.
  6. At low levels I buy medpacs and adrenals for my end game alts, or sell them. Though medpac prices have gone down a lot. I wouldnt buy either the level 20 or level 40 pvp gear. At level 40 start transfering unranked comms to ranked comms. Thats how I do it anyway.
  7. Yeah that is what I was thinking as well, but I personally think that is kind of dumb. Oh well, if that how it works I only have to wait 1-2 more seconds before rolling away. Not a big deal, but I thought I'd clarify if dodge ability = dodge cc affect as well.

    healing

Really depends on the skill of the dps vs the skill of the healer. I have taken down each of the three healers with pretty much all dps specs of each advanced class. If the healer is better than you, which can happen, the answer is easy: mark healer and focus. Then it comes down to whichever team is better, which is working as intended. If the other team is better at peeling than your team is at focusing and stunning, then they win.
  9. Quick question: Evasion is supposed dodge all white damage. Ravage is white damage. With new Jugg utilities all of them can get root on ravage. Case in point: Vengeance jugg leaps at me and starts ravage. I dont want to waste break free so I use evasion. Evasion negates ravage damage, but I am rooted by ravage as I try to roll away. Working as intended? Happens every day in pvp. They still don't end up killing me; that isnt the issue. Should evasion negate the root since ravage is being dodged?
