The tax is 6%, and I think it is retarded. But then again, I tend to put a lot of stuff on the GTN as part of guild fund raisers.

Why not just use the WoW model and have it so that it is a bonus after reaching certain thresholds? That would probably be the best solution. I don't remember exactly how it works, but after a certain point, the guild makes money whenever its members make money.

Ok, is there a way to block a whole account out on your ignore list, or even have all the ignores carry over to all my alts? I get tired of seeing the trolls in general chat and would prefer to be able to ignore them on all my alts instead of having to add them one alt at a time. It would also be beneficial if I could block another user. I know that not much can be done about the immature little jerks that like to hide behind the anonymity of the internet, but I should not have to turn off general chat because of a few people, especially when I am trying to communicate in it as well. Hello all, I am the GM of Driven To Conquer. We are a casual/social guild that is interested in all aspects of gameplay. We are currently looking to fill out our Raid Teams and our PVP teams. We focus on helping each other to be the best we can in our classes/specs. We are looking for those that are level 50 or near 50 (although your alts are of course welcome as well). We are currently finishing off our 16 man Ops team, 8 man Ops team, and our PvP Ops team. We have a guild forum website (where we offer info on builds, tips, contests, etc), teamspeak 3, a facebook page to share info, and we have 3 tabs for the guild bank to help with getting your characters geared out. We have several knowledgeable players in the guild, and the majority of us have severral years of experience in MMOs. When we do an op, the gear goes to whomever needs it, if multiple ops members present can use it on the character they are on, then we roll on it. No favorites are played in loot assignments. We look to better the guild as a whole, not the GM's favorite. All of the officers in my guild are approachable if you have an issue, and I have an open door policy. All my officers also have my contact info should a drastic issue come up. Just to give a brief resume of my experience, I have played Ultima Online (beta tester, played for 8 years, mainly played on Lake Superior), DDO (alpha and beta tester, played on Ghalanda), City of Heroes, EQ 1 & 2, SWG, Earth and beyond (beta), LotR (beta), STO, and Neverwinter Nights (not a true MMo, but you get the picture...). If you are still looking, my guild does both PVE and PVP, we are casual but we do raids as well. We are currently looking to fill out our raid teams, but if you know what you are doing, we need somebody to handle the PVP aspect as well. We are still a fairly young guild, and as such we are building. As for the "mature" aspect, the majority of our guild are adults, but we have a few "youngsters". We do some trash talking, but for the most part it is good natured ribbing between guildies. We don't care what your religion, race, creed, or sexuality is. Not sure if the "tax" thing is the same as what I am thinking, but I know that in WoW, one of the guild "perks" is that you can fund the guild bank by looting dead bodies. So if I kill a mob and loot the bodies and get 100 creds, 10 creds go into the guild fund, but I still get my 100 credits. They really need something like that. I just got done doing a 5 hour "garage sale" on fleet to raise money to get our second guild bank tab. While it got kinda fun, it was also hectic. Although I think some people got some really good deals, especially the guy that bought the command throne from me....

I like. Even if it was just a ship that was this time periods equivalent to the blockade runner seen in the original star wars, that would be cool.

I believe what he was suggesting was that the equipment that you get off the cartel market should all be BIND TO LEGACY. I agree. They need to either do that or make it so that I can sell the stuff to the vendors. I've got 4 sets of equipment on my smuggler and I have 2 on my BH that are no good to me anymore, so why can't I send them over to my alts? That is what is irritating about the cartel market items.

Glad it got handled. I've been a volunteer at my local schools for a while and have helped with the special needs classes. It is inexcusable to make fun of those with disabilities. But some people do not have the empathy to understand what they are doing. Best thing I can recommend is to report them and, failing that, pray for them. Ignorance is usually the reason, but some people just are jerks. Sadly, while we may one day find a cure for ASD and other issues that affect people, I don't think we will be able to cure ignorance. People have to want to learn and to correct their actions, but most prefer to think that they are right and everybody else is wrong. Happy gaming.

Hello, Driven to Conquer is recruiting for the Empire on this server. We have several players with character from level 1 to level 50, but we are looking for more people. We are all willing to help out new players if you need it, and to alleviate the boredom of leveling, we have a teamspeak server as well as several officers that are willing to roll a new alt just to help level. For the most part it seems that the imperial side is a bit more polite, although I have heard some rancoring on both sides (trolling in other games and forums).
