INTRO:
Game design is affecting user experience in a negative way in PvP. Decurion gear does less DPS and PvErs come to PvP to grind Thyrsian gear.
Looking for comments from UX pros and enthusiasts (as in you actually deeply look into the subject and not that you suddenly think you you are an enthusiast) or the feedback of experienced players that have very structured minds.
Now... You can have an opinion, but I will not read those who don't show they have the profile I am seeking for information. Specially forum vigilantes and other losers.
DISCLAIMER:
This is not about bickering between PvErs and PvPers. It is about game design.
ARGUMENTATION:
I am concerned HERE exclusively with the fact that game design has lead to a massive influx of PvErs into PvP environment to grind Thyrsian gear; and that comes to the loss in quality of game sense, organization and synergy of players in WZ. So, this is not ablout PvErs coming to PvP, but the huge influx of PvErs due to game desing. Something that could be fixed by editing Decurion gear to do more DPS. The average PvEr is not in his/her average environment. The lack of skill and game sense is shocking compared to previous expansions. We, PvErs, have our premades. It becomes a huge faceroll. This farming becomes quite boring. The same applies to having 3 good players in a Quesh Huttball; with 2 passes, we can score a 5x0 in no time. What's the fun of it after doing this a few times? It is rare to find a WZ challenging match. A challenging WZ is all the average PvEr wants from a WZ. It's the same thing with sports. Now, one can argue that WZ performance has been in decline for years. I will accept that info that I got from PvPers that are here for quite a while and I have come back a few months ago from a long time out. Yet, the contrast from 6.0 and 7.0 is alarming. I once got from a very centered PvEr an arguement saying that soon the gring will subsidize as people have their gear and will try to use it more in their PvE environment/experience. The arguement was supported by some very proficient NIM lvl like PvE players from a Guild that achieves very well in PvE. Would like, however, further feedback.
Would be nice if the debate develops with citing the item number. It is important to FOCUS on the subject and not go astray.
