  1. Im with Dath on this one, Space and Ground PVE Mobs have very basic thought processes. go here attack using this combination of abilities. Say this at various moments or health levels and so on GSF is an ENTIRELY different animal by orders of magnitude. its a highly dynamic environment where in order for the match to be anything more than the on the rails experience we allready have youd need to program the enemy pilot mobs to be able to react to think and to do so in 3 dimensions. that is a VERY complex set of variable to program and this presumes you only want them in basic T1 strikes and scouts and bombers much less gunships and other types which is a whole mess of variables in and of itself otherwise, you basically would end up with a Hollywood style action sequence where the enemy pilots fly in circles come at you straight on and only occasionally dodge the first missile tossed at them
  2. Yes you do not need B to win thats true. Ive been in more than one match where we won with A and C. the trick is that first as Achmaattwo said above you do need to pressure the off sat and keep your enemy aware of it. if the enemy team thinks they can leave B unguarded or with only one guard then they can send between 7-11 pilots to hit A or C at their leisure. which means with 4-6 defenders tops your outnumbered and might lose one of your prime sats Also B is the center prime sat for more than just the fact that its in the middle. its easier to defend and float between A and B or B and C than it is trying to provide defense coverage for the two furtherst apart. This can be especially dangerous on a map like Denon where distance is ever further than on the others, or with a well coordinated team that can work together well, In conclusion you always want to pick your two primary Sats based on which side you start on A and B or B and C and harass the off sat A or C at the start try to cap the prime sats then hold as best you can. if the match puts you in an A C situation sure good to go defend your sats but dont forget to put pressure on B so the enemy team doesnt get comfortable
  3. No real way to make one sound different from the others persay. the main thing to look for are visual clues. the red triangle warning of missile lock attempts. the brigher pulsing red arrow warning of missile launch. your co pilot warning you of incoming damage and so on pay attention to your surroundings as you fly. when you use the tab button it cycles through nearby enemies look for and pay attention to those who have your name in red theyre most likely looking at you
  4. Several ships got boosts to evasion specifically strikes which might account for the lowered damage though thats hardly conclusive my own damage numbers are pretty good but even ive had 15-20 kill games where my damage was sub par just managed to vulture a lot of kills as for missile locks either lag / server latency may play into that. ive eaten protorps when i was behind a pilot it happens the further outside the center recticle your target is the more likely the lock is to break also EMP pulse can break locks so its possible for that to be a cause
  5. Not SOL but it can feel like that. while theres no hard counter to getting sliced besides now breaking LOS as slicing requires LOS to hit. once sliced its a pretty potent effect so what to do, 1: Break Line of sight. use corners walls use debris anything you can to get to cover till the slice wheres off. This can include getting tight on top of the slicer glueing yourself to their hull practically, this makes hitting with a protorp or blasters much harder if theyre twisitng trying to keep you in their target recticle 2: maintina high engine power. Slicing really does a nasty number on a pilot draining shields and engines while your burning those to escape. having high engine power means you can get to cover easier or break LOS as needed to get those precious seconds needed either to remove the slice debuff or get help from a teamate 3: The Best Defense is a good offense. Aka Find the slicer and kill them first and often. Make use of your minimap and tab targeting as well as the team roster screen accesssed by hitting M if i recall and find out whose flying an iumperium or the Clarion once you have said indifvudual in sight target them immediately and destroy them this gives you some room while they respawn to get more points or take a sat depedning on the match Slicings a pain no doubt but it can be beaten despite how frustrating it can be.
  6. yeah Koth only leaves if youre open about letting destruction happen to Zakuul my characters that ran the KOTFE and KOTET stuff stopped the spires destructiom and he remained loyal which is shown in the later dialogues when you save the gravestone later
  7. Yes and No, There was a change to the capture mechanics as I recall where the more people you have around a Sat the faster it is captured. So 1 pilot can capture a sat but its about average speed 2 is faster and 3 even faster then that. I think and maybe Drakolich can confirm that it caps around 3-4 pilots for max speed capture however the minimum to capture a sat remains 1 pilot and no enemies and turrets
  8. big props and yes a msut watch for new players and even older ones

  11. In regards to the first one if it was a scout or strike thats possible with tensor field especially on the smaller maps and even on Denon a tensored scout could make the trip from A to C on one engine pool the second is trickier but sounds like Lag or being interrupted by Emp pulse or lag potentially as to the last Aim botting is oft complained about but there is in my experience no such animal. you basically just ran into someone with really good aim which 5.0 changes made necessary to succeed
  12. Its 15k straight up yu most likely got hit by a shot in range before transitioning out of that range lag and latency may have played a part. Also a gunship pilot can and will advance or move their positions for a good shot on a wounded target its all part of Gunship chess
  13. 1: Jedi Knight easily my favorite and for the me the best story. and the story that best epitomizes STAR WARS. the big damned hero fighting for good and justice in a war torn galaxy against a great evil. Youre not perfect and you falter and even stumble and fall at one point but with the aid of friends new and old you rise back to your feet and face down the greatest evil and triumph essential star wars. 2: Imperial Agent: intrigue twists turns backstabbing --sometimes literally-- betrayal conspiracies everything you ever wanted in a spy story is here, and youre at the core of it all. and the final decision you make is one that has the potential to shake the galaxy to its core 3: Sith Warrior: So much fun youre a Sith and you do things your way. also one of the stories with one of the best romances via Vette. Its absolutely hilarious too if you play it as full light side 5 they never see you coming and especially jedi are thrown off by your ""peaceful" "approach to situations 4: Jedi Consular: the story that makes one truly feel like a JEDI the code the powers in use, diplomacy and solving problems via peaceful solutons. this is the essence of the Jedi order at its best and why you come to represent its highest ideals 5: Smuggler OMG ROFLMAO this story is a laugh riot and both gender smugglers pretty much romance anything that moves if you want to, The Smuggle is just gobs of fun if you ever loved Han Solo and stories about lovable rogues and their friends escaping harrowing situation via the skin of their teeth and other assorted body parts then the Smuggler is the story for you 6: Bounty Hunter Now this also is a good star wars story. only different from the Jedi Knight. if the Jedi is the big damned hero then the Bounty Hunter is their shadowy opposite in many ways but if they choose to be they become no less a hero then the Knight. the BH may seem to have in some ways more freedom of choice in their actions but they find themselves embroiled in larger events then they planned and when the times comes this lone gunslinger makes their presence felt if you ever loved the Mandalorian series this is the class and story for you 7: Imperial Inquisitor: IF you ever wanted to know what the darksides mysteries were like the intrigue of the sith and their politics this is the story for you. the inquistor starts out as the lowest of the low but by the time theyre done their scheming and power allows them to rises to the utmsot heights. and odnt feel you have to go all dark side like the warrior above the lightside choices have their own advantages as well 8: trooper. considered by many the weakest of the stories the trooper is still an essential star wars story in its own right. because not everyone gets to be a jedi and so it takes true heroism to face down a powerful mad lightning throwing monster with a lightsaber when all you have is a knife a grenade and a blaster pistol. the tropper tells the story about the men and women who dont have the force to call on when they go into battle and who have to rely on themselves and their teamates to survive and triumph its fun and engaging and leads you on a roller coaster ride until the end

  18. It was good stuff and you were pretty spot on in your analysis. One thought on your mention of pauses and dead space is perhaps to do a talked play through first where you watch the video with basic commentary he flies here shoots this does that etc then a brief go through of individual talking points first point here he does this point B he dies this here what i would recommend doing is this point C he does this you should actually do this but it worked here then follow it up with a brief run through of the main points So in retrospect this is what we learn from this match do this this and this, dont do or be cautious of doing this this and this that might help you with setting a pace for the video and give you room to make more indepth analysis though it might mean extra editing work at the end as you have to take time pause more and rewind on each individual point thats just a current thought beyond that suggestion though i enjoyed the video as it was and thought you did a great job Quick edit goes without saying but if you see a vid on my channel i havent sent to you prior and feel its noteworthy please feel free to use it
