I have, Forumgoers, believed from the first that the agitation of the subject of macros would, if not prevented by some timely and effective measure, end in ragequitting. Entertaining this opinion, I have, on all proper occasions, endeavored to call the attention of each of the two great parties which divide the forums to adopt some measure to prevent so great a disaster, but without success. The agitation has been permitted to proceed, with almost no attempt to resist it, until it has reached a period when it can no longer be disguised or denied that the game is in danger. You have thus had forced upon you the greatest and the gravest question that can ever come under your consideration: How can the game be preserved? . . . Macros are not good. They make people complacent. I haven't heard of a single case of someone with a physical disability, needing a macro. ****, not even N0mad uses macros.

Lol wut. There are other loot distribution systems other than rolling. Dragon Kill Points (Hi Thott!), loot council, Zero-Sum, SK and so on.

I never used mouseover healing in WoW or EQ for that matter, and I did pretty well. I dunno, maybe WoW just made some people complacent.
