  1. Either way if that is a bug, then the legacy name is a consequence they are equally responsible for. Which is illegitimate because of it.
  2. I'm not the only one though that even with transferred characters the old legacy level remained.
  3. By the way, do you have a link to these tweets?
  4. Thank you for telling me this and all others for sharing. I hope more will come up. Because I made a ticket and the answer was less than satisfying. Part of their response tho "We appreciate that this means disappointment for some, but we've been clear about our intentions when it comes to names since the United Forces update was announced in early October (http://www.swtor.com/info/news/news-article/20171002)." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBsJ9VSQvbE Reminds me of this video from southpark
  5. This is a giant mess up on their part and they are trying to make money out of that mishap aswell. Totally unacceptable.
  6. Glad I am not the only one! This is totally unacceptable, just crazy. So behind the screens the low lvl legacy supposedly turned to level 50, unbeware to the player.
  7. It's kinda strange then if it was "upgraded" by a character transfer but was never visible.
  8. That's the weird part. I did transfer some toons to the other server, but the legacy level remained the same as it was before for me. I am very certain. Even with my character toon transferred way back, the legacy level had remained untouched. Now suddenly this thing happens...
  9. Quote from the news concerning the merge: "Since Legacy names are not unique, you will not lose a Legacy name as part of this process. However, if you have two Legacies which are brought together, the name and level of the highest level Legacy will be maintained. Ex: You have the Level 10 “Skywalker” Legacy on The Bastion and the Level 40 “Organa” Legacy on The Harbinger; these will combine into the Organa Legacy at Level 40. As always, if you wish to change your Legacy name you can do so via a Legacy Name Change from the Cartel Market." Does anybody else have the issue that their lower level legacy name has been used instead of their higher level one? Bioware/EA promised the event mentioned above and denies its responsibility on the mistake. Telling that you have to buy the legacy rename, even though they clearly messed this up. If anyone has similar issues, please let it be known here.

Anyone else having their lower level legacy name as current one instead of the high level one as promise? Are there more people that are pissed off by this action and the unwillingness to fix the issue? The one they created. How Bioware/EA doesn't keep its promise? They also tell you to buy a legacy rename, wanting your cash?
  11. In currency tab it says that ranked season 7 tokens will automatically be converted to credits after season 8 ends. Season 8 has ended hasn't it? Why do I still have those tokens then?
  12. I noticed as dps that kolto stations allows to draw attention from bosses, as an aggro machine. When a healer is in the group and I use it there are 2 reasons for it: 1) I'm too low and I don't want to risk it 2) I'm trying to off-tank, even when i'm a sentinel/marauder or sniper/gunslinger. Not many people know how to tank or can keep the boss on themselves. This lead to bosses switching targets constantly. So if I'm one of those people you encounter as a healer that uses it even when its not needed, I apologize. Either way, in HS people use it cause you can then just stand in the sweeping fire and burn through the boss without any problem.
  13. You guys still seeking people? I could use a group to do abit of ranked pvp with, can use the comms.
  14. http://imgur.com/a/gJlzc My friend and I.
  15. The holocommunicator that they should fix but 3 kits aren't alot of customization options. People all have the same comp in the same gear, having the identical clone of your "hero". It would be more amusing if they kept it as it was. Gives it a personal flare to it all.
  16. I know this is ancient but I do have to say this is actually not a bad idea. Got 30 characters and sometimes I have to check them all. I got like 2-3 pages filled with characters I used systematically. Yet when I use those I don't use regularly I need to find them between the hops I did to find something...
  17. Well then, seems like a bug that should be a feature will ruin swtor completely. I already found it getting abit stupid. Was extremely delighted by this. Where are the jawa's when you actually need them.
  18. So far I don't feel like the choices really matter in the new content... Some comps leave or so but nothing that truely seems to matter, that actually totally changes. Basicly an every choice matters like ME 3 thing, that feeling is what I got at the moment. Light, Dark, Neutrale... All seems to play out the same so far.
  19. Signed The event is useless, most stuff has already been done, maybe not make it complete done already but make it so any character people have can join. Redoing the complete thing seems useless to me. They rather reroll stuff than give new content and only make false promises. Redoing the complete game, seriously? Can't you make a seperate event that focusses on the choices of the people. So far I've read, the only thing that depends on the "light and dark" idea is the fact that you make choices in conversation that go to the total endgame score and depending on that those who did it get a specific companion? That doesn't seem like much light and dark to me. Make something new! Something that actually seems Dark Vs Light...
  20. A companion gifts calculator would be very useful now with the 50 affection levels, how many gifts give points. How many you need to get to a certain level. Sorry I add to this so many years after. Maybe there is one out there that I haven't found next to this one, but it is a great idea.
  21. If the server is well balanced in the pvp players it can be nice.
  22. Well, there would be difference in several stats, alot of ways to split the rookies from the more pro players next to ranked warzones. We both know people won't change and you can know this would have happened before if you were the guy or one of the guys making it, the companion mission, so you know you had to do something about it before implementing this. There needs to be something done to this situation cause it seems like you're just sweeping it under the carpet. Like there ain't a bloody problem with that. 10 wz's versus 20 wz's is a big difference. There is no real balance concerning wins. So you're either done pretty fast or extremely slow. Cause the wins do speed up the process which in my previous points you seem to sweep under the carpet aswell.
  23. Well companions are part of pve and not pvp ofcourse But yeah can stay pvp, all I think it should have is a change of mechanic so the difference in time it takes isn't as different on imp side or rep side. Cause the difference is quite significant.
  24. Most people do it, biggest downside is the load of poodoo you get on you for not having the gear and the imbalance is a giant difference in hours concerning imperial and republic side. It might be good to think about another mechanic for this to work.
