  1. Hatred is underperforming in PvE which means its untouchable.

     

    10/10. Most of the time when you see a class over-performing or at least doing a decent job in PVE, and seems overpowered in PvP, that's when you know nerf hammers come. For example, I've already got memes prepared for force storm nerf.

     

    Yet when you see a class over-performing in PVE, yet under-performing in PvP, that is when the buff would never come. For example, merc is massively superior in PVE, whether it's offensive or defensive or even healing, so I don't reckon a buff coming any time soon.

     

    The point and plain fact is: Bioware has made it very clear that it is their intention to prioritize PvE balance over PvP balance, as they would hardly ever nerfing a class that is already not doing so well in PvE.

  2. You are an amazing player. This post makes me feel nostalgic about old days and I just wish I had your skills to form beautiful words from memories. To you, I say this, you are an amazing player. I love the way you kite on your sorc, and I loved completing DPS with your merc and PT. I am also more than impressed by the way you roll on your operative. Thank you for those good memories I've had on Ebon Hawk, and thank you for teaching me many things I didn't know about warzones. I enjoyed grouping with you, and given the opportunity I would do it again!

     

    About the naming thing, yes I do name all my toons with reference to eggs or yolk, and in fact Corndogs is the only toon I ever that does not have a direct reference to yolk/egg. I named it Corndogs because I had a sudden crush on corndogs (come on, how can it not be yummy). In fact, that toon is still on Ebon Hawk, with exactly the same look, but in hiatus because all those damn roots and CCs.

  3. Been 6 hours on Bastion this morning, and I seem have observed an increased queue bug rate. Players would just get randomly stuck with no queue pop even there are lots of players in queue. Yes I realize queue bugs do happen, but I've seen at least 5-6 players this morning having this problem, and that's way higher than normal. Can anyone confirm this problem?

    No I am not trying to prove alacrity is useless with that post. I am just experimenting in uncharted territory because I stocked way too many comms. I am planning to gradually drop my alacrity rating from that point to try to work something out with a power alacrity build.

  5. Total noob (hello world! level noob) to programming here, can I someone please enlighten me what program I should download if I want to get this code thingy to work? How do I do that?

     

    by "hello world! level noob" I mean the only code I've heard of is "hello world!" and no, last time I tried "hello world!" didn't run properly.

  6. I actually bought a whole new ranked set. I am running with 15.37% alacrity at 174s fully min/maxed on high power mods and quick savant enhancements. I do notice the cast time is faster:

     

    Thundering Blast Cast Time (without focal lightning 5% alacrity buff)

    0 alacrity: 1.50 sec

    1588 alacrity: 1.30 sec

    1588 alacrity + polarity shift: 1.11 sec

     

    In addition, force storm channels at 4.40 sec with polarity shift on (no focal lightning).

     

    Note that 1588 is approximately the mathematical upper limit of alacrity with current tier of PvP gear, as I stacked alacrity in all enhancements, earpieces, implants and augments. Unless you use the other version of power/alacrity mods which give you something like 18 power 88 alacrity (a pathetically low power for a moderately higher alacrity), then you are not gonna break 1588.

     

    My non-alacrity secondary stats are beyond horrible, with a crit chance at 18% and a bonus damage barely breaking 1400. My polarity shift crits for around 6k with relic procs. I'll admit that hitting every button much faster is fun, but it really hits like a wet noodle.

    Lack of matchmaker for other game modes is annoying, but it's downright gamebreaking for arenas.

     

    I want to play Player vs Player. Not Player vs Matchmaker.

    the sorcerer rises up and levitates a few feet above the ground and begins to draw purplish energy from the ground below. the sorcerer begins to glow a dark purple and lightning crackles around him. the sorcerer is vulnerable to interrupts during this time. the sorcerer then fires an insanely huge white-hot bolt of lightning, a meter thick, far into the sky. the bolt then comes down onto the target 2 seconds later, causing everything within 5 meters of the target to be blown away from the location by 5 meters. targets are stunned, laying on the floor, for three seconds. this ability drains the sorcerer greatly, reducing force regeneration by 50% for 5 minutes. this ability can only be used during heroic moments and is granted at level 60. this ability can only be used once per heroic moment. this ability is exclusive to the sorcerer.

     

     

     

     

    We have that already, it's called polarity shift force storm during recklessness, and it quadruples listed damage. RIP
