  1. snip...

Go ahead and ignore all this, I just wanted to take a crack at answering the questions.

Well answering those questions is easy (and can even be fun) so thanks for contributing :)

Anyways I believe that adding a new class is a horrible idea. I would even argue against adding new advance classes but that is okay. Adding a new class is really adding 2 classes cause you need to make the advance classes and now you have to factor them in for balance which is so much extra work for something that adds very little.

I would much prefer they continue to focus on trying to perfect current balance and adding new PvE content (and PvP for those who do that)

  2. Well sense It seems like a lot of us is just listing how they played their SWs. Ill go also.

My own Sith Warrior by all rights should have been a Jedi. They were simply born on the wrong side of the galaxy. Instead of just defecting first chance, she decided to make the most of it and change the Sith from within. She considers the Sith to be an abomination and uses politics and diplomacy to get allies in both the Empire AND Republic to one day bring a real peace to the galaxy and to reform the Sith to some type of organization that is acceptable in the galaxy.

So a Light Side Sith Warrior can be VERY good depending on how you play it.

  3. I also found Xalec ... well I guess I would say, I didnt like him at all. Had I had the chance, when we first had the option to recruit him, I would have let Harken do whatever it was he wanted to do to Xalec because I agreed with Harken at the time.

Anyways my answer to you is, you can have your alternate companion when i can switch Vik out for Fuse. ;)

    I understand the frustration lol

  4. It kind of fits, though it causes me to tear my hair out everytime these things occur...

When companion missions take place in areas that by that point in the story, the other faction should control them.

    Culprits:

Consular should return with the Trandosian long after Empire conquered Taris, instead lands in Republic base

Agent should return with Kalyio to a Republic controlled Balmorra, instead lands in Imp capital city

Inquistor should return to Imperial Taris with Khelm, instead returns to a Republic base.

I dont remember any others right now.

Honorable mention to Sith Warrior who COULD have Lt. Price plan and complete the conquest of Bastion on Corellia long after the Empire has been driven off Bastion. (Thankfully I finished that story before I arrived on Corellia)

I actually understand what you are saying but there is one simple work around for what you said.

Allow the non-story missions (the Operation, the daily's, the planet itself) accessible at any time. Just make the actual story itself not available until you complete your class mission.

You can visit Illum and do the quest there before you finish your class mission so logically they should make it the same for Makeb.

I simply do not see a single good reason to make it so you can access the Makeb story before you even start Corellia without there being some type of warning about what you are starting. Personally I think the actual story mission should require Illum completed but thats just me. I understand why it is not.

  6. Im really surprised this has yet to be fixed yet. I remember I was talking to a friend on skype when he hit level 47 and finished Voss. I told him his next place was Corellia, he was excited to finish his first character's story and he mentioned "strange, I guess Im making a pit stop at the planet Makeb, I thought you said Corellia was next"

I told him had happened and to turn around but it was a bit late for that.

So now my friend who has yet to even seen Corellia, much less Illum, now knew how his class story ended because for some reason you can access Makeb before you even visit Corellia much less finish it. They really should just change it to "finish you class quest" so you get it at the same time you get Illum

  7. Nice revisionist history. I remember 10 years ago when that game came out and the game was crucified. Repeatedly. By like, everyone.

    THANK YOU.

Man I remember this to. Everyone HATED this game when it first came out. Now everytime Star Wars games are mentioned on the internet they hold KotOR2 like its some shinning master piece. I look back and think "man was that game horrible"

Im so glad to see another person who remembers that time

What did they say was so bad about it?

Common complaints: It felt rushed, story was boring, villains were considered poor villains, climax (and boss fights in general) were anti-climatic, but all that could have been over looked if it wasnt for the fact the game just ended out of the blue.

Had those two games been released now a days I am almost certain KotOR2 would have got ALMOST Mass Effect 3 levels of flak for the ending.
