  1. We all know how you got it. Your sentinel was hidden during all season 9 up to the end thanks to an old bugg which allowed players to hide their characters from leaderboards, the famous wintrader lyvala (name is changed a bit) who used same bugg then confessed that he did it with your sentinel too because you paid him for this. That character had small amount of wins for season 9 which only proved you wintraded it. Now you say that mats in team ranked is bad because all you want is team ranked remain dead as it is now so cheaters like you could easily wintrade more rewards using dead condition of team ranked since Mike B. already stated that they are planning to tweak win requirements in next seasons. Of course if team ranked will be revived as it was before season 11 you will not have any chance to cheat due to big quantity of teams queueing all the time which are capable of farming your team in few seconds.
  2. Can you read those statements i linked? It was correctly stated (which is also logical) that if team ranked is alive and full of absolutely different teams there will always be competition. Queue dodgers who didn't want to fight very strong teams had to fights with other queue dodgers (since that small time period when strongest team didn't queue was limited but everyone wanted to use it). Even queue dodgers had to fight other queue dodgers and only the strongest dodgers succeed. So why it is not competitive? I was one of queue dodgers but my team was weak, yes we could win mat farmers easy but we didn't reach top rewards even close because every time we queued during periods when strong teams weren't in queue we were farmed by more skilled queue dodgers who also used that small fraction of time free from strongest teams. YOU always had to fight for your rating in mat farm era since there always was someone else decent enough to take what they want even during time when strongest teams were offline. And what we have now? Team ranked is dead, all rating received there was wintraded by wintraders like you, who asked/paid someone to queue for easy wins, legit ranked players quitting the game since team ranked is dead, Mike B. already gives up and states officially that they are going to "tweak" the number of wins needed for top rewards in next seasons so that Wintraders like you could get their rewards with like 20-50 wins made thanks to wintrade in team ranked. Great isn't it?

It was already proved throughout discussion that having mats in team ranked makes in much more healthier, competetiveand less fitting for Wintraders and botters: HERE: Here: You don't need to be a genius to compare what happened in mat farm era and now. In mat farm era we had all types of teams in queue: bad, decent, unbeatable, queue dodging etc. ALL these teams were competing with each other (even dodgers had to compete between each other). Wintraders and bot users didn't had any chances except for queueing in a deep morning (which was pretty obvious and easy to qualify as a wintrade though) What we have now?? All teams are Wintraders or bot users with 10-50 wins which were made by playing against teams which were prepared to lose in advance (so called "contracted fights). What we have now is pure wintrade. Iam glad to hear that devs are not going to reduce win requirement for team ranked so all these cheaters won't get rewards. HOWEVER, IN HIS LAST THREAD, MIKE B. ACTUALLY STATED THAT IN FUTURE SEASONS THEY WILL "TWEAK" NUMBER OF WINS NEEDED TO BE QUALIFIED FOR RECEIVING RANKED REWARDS WHICH means that in next seasons team ranked Wintraders will get what they want, af! When devs will start "tweaking" win requirements we will enter into full team ranked wintrade era while solo ranked will die due to lack of participants (we can already see it dying on star forge). Overall, no mats - no competition in team ranked and wintraders win
  4. No means no. You should start advertising the need to return mats back to team ranked to make it alive again so that all these Wintraders would have no chances to get rewards. Sorry but is an obvious, well-known fact that current team ranked season is based on "contracted", "based on agreements" fights where a stronger team either asked/paid weaker team for easy fights or simply wintraded all rating/wins. Without bringing back team ranked to season 10 era all teams must not be eligible for any rewards. There is simply no legitimacy in team ranked at this season and everyone knows now team ranked worked this season. Devs must either return back mats/other incentives to revive team ranked as it was in season 10 or shut it down for good

  6. Nice to read this! However, there are few details left to check: 1. you wrote that we approach the end of the current PvP season. But when exactly do you plan to end it??In few days, weeks or months???Considering previous updates, there was decided that pvp seasons will last 6 months which means the season must end soon but we still need specific date. 2. I hope you are not planning to "Tweak" the win requirement for team ranked since many players are concerned about team ranked even more than for solo ranked due to inability to see if those 10-50 wins team ranked players have is legit and rewarding players for only 10-80 wins with gold/top 96 rewards would be unfair, especially considering the obvious fact that most of team ranked participants engaged into fights against their friends and cheated their wins and rating. Tweaking the win requirement for team ranked is same as helping cheaters to get undeserved rewards.
  7. well some of dps classes have heal abilities (opers, sorcs, mercs) but their heals are low compared to heal of healing specs. oper/merc/sorc doing like 3-4k hps only so why do dps specs with guard are able to guard on 50% with same cd/mechanic as tanks do???Shouldn't dps spec's guard be weaker as dps spec offheal is??? Why dps specs who can do heals are OFFHEALING but dps specs who have guard are not OFFGUARDING but just GUARDING like they are same as tanks :rak_02:
  8. the game with healers must not be decided by having two dps who can guard each other by dropping guard when focused and giving guard on other team mates who is focused...it must be decided by skill but not the circumstances like having double guard agaisnt a team with only one or zero guarding class which is an auto win for a team with 2 guarding specs and auto lose for another team
  9. This is insane...how can dps class guard his team mates, make 20-40k protection without dying and do 12-15k dps while being easily healed by healers? When i play NiM ops our group leader asks me to log on pt instead of my arsenal merc or sniper pointing out that ap pt is the best choice among burst classes. When i play solo ranked i see ap pts dominating the queue with healers by guarding other dps when they aren't focused and dropping/receiving guard from other dps when focused. In fights with guard the team with MORE powertechs wins and in games with guard + healers having advanced prototype pt is an auto win for a team. In ops with proper energy management this class outperforms even some of dot specs by doing 14-15k dps throughout same time interval. Is combat team balancing classes basing on figures/statistic from game content (NiM ops, ranked pvp etc) or they just second-guessing and making random choices
  10. the possibility of reducing win requirement for corrupted team ranked is the worst thing which might happen yet not the only one. yesterday 3 of my friends quited from swtor because team ranked isn't popping and they tired from solo ranked. Such thing continues all over servers. People want pops against all kinds of teams - bad, good, decent etc, they want TO PLAY. TO play is what games are made for but when certain types of content are dead or just infected by wintraders/bots only this causes many problems. Iam confident that previous mat farming system with its drawback of few dodgers trying to get free wins (which didn't work much anyway though) is still a better way for swtor overall compared to what we have now

  12. Many of them trying to get gold too and 100 wins with wintrading or with so called KICK-BALLS, events or how they call it. Now players who want easy gold just asking weak people to queue for credits/other rewards and farming them with no competition. Besides, no one knows if devs won't reduce the amount of wins needed to get rewards for tr. iN THE end of the season the may say "Considering that team ranked was less active in this season we reduce the amount of wins needed for top 3 to 100 wins and for gold to 50 wins". In this case all wintraders, bot users, and kick-ballers will get easy titles wHILE legit players who just want to queue tr and get pops can't get pops and just quiting the game. So compared to mat farming era, this system is MUCh worse.
  13. You must understand there is no perfection in swtor ranked. From bad choices devs must chose the best one but not the worst one even if this best one will be bad overall. During mat farming era we had mat farmers, queue dodgers, decent teams and top teams hunting each other to get wins and queue dodging wasn't really successful (from my personal and other dodgers experience) since you never know which teams are in queue, how skilled they are and what chars they will swap to. There were many moments when dodgers queued team ranked thinking that no stronger teams are in queue but got a pop against stronger team which were playing on random characters that haven't showed up in team ranked before. Queue dodge wasn't really an issue especially considering that matchmaking system always puts teams with big rating against other teams with big rating rather than matching them against mat farmers. And what we have now is total disaster. Bots and pure wintraDING in team ranked, players who like team ranked unsub and quit swtor because of team ranked being dead, absolutely no fair teams in queue, dead content. This variant of team ranked existence is much worse compared to what we had in mat farming era. Game is more dead and more flexible for wintraders in and bot users
  14. for past few weeks games on DM turned into a nightmare. 3-4 bots queueing almost 24/7, speed hacker ruinings games time-to-time, tanks wintrading at certain time. It's literally unreal to play

  17. currently games with healers and without TANKS are decided whether your team has 2 guarding DPS or no. If your team has two guarding dps and enemy team hasn't - auto win. This is not ok...completely stupid and unfair. And two ap pts in heal games can EASILY win a team with real skank tank, 2 dps and heal just by guarding each other and doing 14k dps with 50k hits. I saw many times how two ap pts with healer + random dps easily won against team with tank, 2 dps and a healer just because cross-guarding allows healer to outheal both pts easily. 50 % protection for dps is too overpowered in heal games, easy wins without any tryhard
  18. cross-guard IS SOO easy. if they focus your team mates - one click to give him guard, if they focus you - one click to remove guard so you could get a guard from your team mate... literally dumbest thing i ever saw while healer overheal both dps easily
  19. It's not ok when people relog on advanced powertechs only when they see that healers are queueing so that they could guard each other and have easy wins. ADVANCED Prototype powertech is useless without guard but when it gets guard he can destroy whole enemy team in second. Why dps classes can guard on 50%, make 10-31k protection and still not die and do 10-15k dps while other classes either don't have guard or have guard but doing 2x less dps (juggernauts and assassins). Is it normal when players who play solo ranked relog on ap pt when they see healer but going back to operatives, assassins and sorcs when healers are gone???so balance just went into the state when you need to relog to a proper class basing on if healers/tanks are in queue or not. If healers/tanks are in queue go on ap pt and do 15k dps, use guard to protect other powertechs in your team if there is no healers/tanks in queue go on assassin, operative or sorcerer to destroy those loosers who queued on powertech without healers in queue.... This makes no sense omg. Dps class isn't supposed to guard on 30k protection and still remain with half or full hp thanks to healer.   21. yeah, they ruin class balance. This stormwatch tactical recks everyone apart, and if enemy team stacks a bit they are all dead because of sorc's aoe possibilities while sorc still does 30-40k burst damage single target...class has good defenses, decent mobility, both good aoe and single dps and they continue to buff it all the time so everyone plays lightning sorcerer. Mercs, snipers just remain useless in ranked while everyone playing lightning sorc.
  22. Stop buffing the strongest RANGE DPS CLASS IN RANKED. STOP it PLS. i see lightning sorcerers doing 10-13k damage with 30-39k hits so HOW IS IT normal???They can both aoe/single burst while other range classes have either burst or aoe. mercs doing 7-9k dps on average in ranked even if they are free casting and have ZERO aoe capability. The use of polarity shift to reduce its duration or extent it on force speed usage was a good idea to finally tone down this overpowered class in ranked. Snipers are useless because they die fast without tank, mercs doing 7-9k only if free casting while lightning sorcerer gets buffs and little nerfs

IT OFTEN pushes player much farther than it has to (often right to to death of user). this bugg ruins pvp, pve and gameplay, there are already few reports written and still such serious bugg haven't been fixed YET.   24. without nerfing advanced prototype powertech damage class balance will be ruined totally. I mean what sense to play any burst spec if ap pt outdps them all by 3x times

None of my friends enjoys solo ranked too. 80% of them doing it for furious armor, other few doing it for silver/gold rewards, and all of them always flowing hatred on ranked saying it sucks and they wish they could get their rewards faster. I don't know even a single ranked player who said something like "Damn, i like ranked thats why i queue it". People want titles and armor for which they are ready to suffer. I met few who enjoyed playing team ranked in season 10 though but they stopped playing when team ranked turned into rating bazaar
