  1. Then I'd reply to that mail telling them no selling back has been done on any toon in the account, and have them state time / date of the offense. Cause none of the people I know, including myself and 150 active accounts in my guild had a warning for buying and using the chairs. Errare humanum est...
  2. One thing about FS transportation. And being duped into the Ziost exploit. Say, you got invited in a group to do Ravagers. The guy says, hey, we're using FS transportation. When you click on the green tick, it says TRAVEL TO ZIOST. At the time the exploit as going, there was NO REASON FOR AN OPS GROUP TO GO TO ZIOST OTHER THEN THE MONOLITHS. Read you screen before blindly accepting something. FS transportation clearly states where you go, you even willingly click on that button. So peope that got "duped" in the Ziost exploit, were not reading their screens and processing information. Do that when signing a contract of a sort, and you're bound to it. You can't simply say you got duped into signing it.
  3. Bought 100, donated 50 to my guild, no warning. Are you absolutely sure there was no selling involved ?
  4. Nope, it is not. The launcher clearly stated : Don't sell Temple Chairs back to the vendor, as it is considered an exploit. Let me make things clear : Selling back a chair, intentionally or unintentionally, is an exploit. Period. The editor stated this. Hence, the conclusion is that you exploited. Per definition of the editor. Another example, if you do 51 mph in a zone where 50 is allowed, you're speeding. Not as bad as the guy doing 70, but he gets a more severe punishment. So you got a warning, the guy that made 10m credits gets stripped of all his credits and a ban, maybe even permanent. Nothing more normal and logical then this. Sorry for ya. EDIT : By the way, the mails for warnings they send out are standardized. So the guy that sold back two stacks automatically gets the same mail as the one that sold one chair back. The warning on your account is related to the offense : selling back one chair without benefit, because used buyback. I sincerely doubt you will get hit with a permaban-hammer if the same thing happens again. Even IF the warning stays on your account, the severity is linked to the warning.
  5. Character : Thyreesa Time : 00.21 AM CEST Server : The Red Eclipse After waiting for 30 minutes or so, we found that this mob is not spawning, preventing us from getting the Liberator of Ilum achievement. Mob is simply not at the designated spot (Coordinates : 844,7), there is no body either .... Could you investigate this please ?
  6. ^^ This. If you give your credit card and PIN code to a 12 yr old, and don't supervise what is going on, the bank won't show you any leniency at all when it comes to sums spent on mentioned credit card. Sorry for ya mate, but take your responsiblity and suck it up, instead of blaming the whole world for your own mistake ...
  7. Yup, but the enhancements placed in your inventory became Bind on Equip, instad of being bound. Check GTN and people selling 198 enhancements atm .... http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=819813&page=2
  8. Selling them on GTN falls into that category. As for buying them ... Well, you could know these are not supposed to exist, so it is a grey zone that needs to be addressed by BW, I won't pronounce on that. Given with the Ravager exploit people had schems removed, the gear could be removed from the toon who bought it, for coherence sake, but I'm not fussed if people get to keep it.
  9. It's the same on TRE, people selling gear that NORMALLY doesn't exist in the game, like Advanced Enhancement 38 stuff should be banned. Period. It is not craftable, no BoE version can be obtained in a normal way in the game. BW makes a deal out of the temple chair exploit. This is another one that can get you a lot richer if you used 22 of them bracers with the Adv Enh 38 in them. 22 x 10M = 220 MILLION credits. And that is not counting B-300 bracers sitting in your inventory with slotted enhancements ..... Worse, it seems in this way you can also trade the set bonus 198 armoring, as the mod and armoring got transferred to inv as well. This NEEDS to be addressed Eric / Tait !
  10. 198 enhancements being non re-engineerable, I would watch out to list them, as a BoE version is not supposed to exist in the game ..... Hence can be considered an exploit ....
  11. Just a heads up for the dev team : the enhancements placed in the inventory of the players used in the B-300 bracers have become BoE (Bind on equip). Some players are exploiting this fact by listing their 198 enhancements they used in those bracers on GTN now, and making loads of money. Please address this problem. Can be considered an exploit in the same fashion as the temple chairs....
  12. Easy, you pull it, you tank it. If someone ninja-pulls, ask the healer NOT to heal that DPS during the fight and focus on himself, tank and second DPS. After dying three, four times and QQ'ing why he is not getting heal, and tank explaining pulling is HIS job, he'll leave or get the point. In Ops : votekick away, after one very vocal warning in Ops chat. cba to play with those kind of arses.
  13. Then you'd have to prove this was not the case. We can prove it actually was. The scamming has been done (read initial post and compare to the results). It is being dishonest. Calling a dev an idiot is a personal opinion. And he is entitled to that view. and from what is going on bugwise and otherwise, I am inclined to say he is RIGHT.
  14. Big difference between a tweak to make them less frequent and making them almost none existent. After saying they would "look into it" and "working as intended" the nerf they applied is completely over the top.
  15. Now is it ridiculous ? I don't think so. People are complaining about this stuff because they have a valid reason to do so. Skill training being free ? After robbing some of us for a week out of millions of credits -> Valid complain, since people that pre-ordered got disadvantaged. Machines being nerfed to a point being useless ? We paid real life money for a product that got from super OP to a piece of useless junk. Hence : -> Valid complaint. If you find it ridiculous / unwarranted to complain, then don't read it. And hell, don't bother to react to it with these non-arguments.
  16. Would be better if you argumented or respected people's opinion .... Which obviously is not an option. If your argument stays "crybabies" go somewhere else to troll. Or give us something a bit more valid to work with
  17. Same as you seem to come here for needless trolling. Go send your comp on crew skill missions or sit in a corner laugh about your victory.
  18. They have a total history of going over the top on this kind of things. As to tdmaha : I think we should scroll back a couple of pages and check if you werenn't one of thse crying because drop rates were too high ....
  19. As soon as those idiots stop paying for that kind of crap (Cartel coins, subscription), any idea who will finance your playing fun ? Certainly NOT the people playing the GTN with mats and crafts. They can buy all they want of GTN and cut the Cartel Coins altogether. Just saying...
  20. OK BioWare, you did your thing and saved the market prices for people that want to get rich from selling mats on GTN. These changes are preposterous. Played 99 spins, got nothing but rep items, no certifs, no mats, nothing. This will be the downside for YOU guys : - People will not buy Cartel packs anymore because there is a slot machine inside. As you nerfed the thing to death already, the chips prices may vary if you think it is needed. And patches may come to nerf it even further into oblivion if people cry enough. - People in Europe are entitled to cartel coin refunds. As you stated before the machine was WORKING AS INTENDED before nerfing it so draconously. I suggest changes it back as were before, or start drawing the checkbooks ..... ToS having stated that software is provided AS IS doesn't cut it under EU law .... You may rather think of fixing the bugged Coratanni fight or the unplayable 16 man ops and ongoing perf issues then worrying about the slot machines ....
  21. They can't do that if you use Cartel Market gear, as you paid (well, someone did) real money for it. Hence, revoking that shell would be a real act of theft. Nah, whether they make a Cheater title or something, or they have to let it rest.
  22. So true. "Hey, come steal my stuff, I will judge your offense next week". While doing absolutely NOTHING to prevent it from happening
  23. Mind you, I wouldn't be able to predict how it would finish. I just know laws over here are way more consumer friendly then US laws. For example. If ToS would state it is written under Californian state law and can only be attacked in the State of California, European law supercedes this and renders it null. My country's consumer law states that I can choose to attack ToS and/or product faults under this country's law. Not the Californian one. Consumer law in Europe states furthermore that IF a product doesn't answer to a reasonable expectation of the consumer, he can ask for a full refund. And this applies also to immateriazed products (software and services). Law supercedes ToS (or any contract for that matter), the AS IF clause in the ToS is hence null and void under European law.
  24. Exactly my point being. And since I don't know a single player in game that hasn't profited from a lockout in flashpoints or operation, servers are gonna be very quiet in the near future. Actually, they can close them, as all deserve permabans (this is some of the carebear's opinion here).
