  1. I still didn't get any coins despite me being a non-stop sub for the last 4 years. Don't I qualify ? I posted before when asked.... People in my guild having the same sub-time and plans as I got their coins....
  2. I'd like an explanation as well. Some of my fellow guildies got the CC, I didn't. We were all subbed and all saw the add on the launcher. Anyhow, I feel giving away to people that were subscribed for 3,4 years should be normal, not only giving stuff to new subs.
  3. After checking some (20+) of the logs, this seems to occur UNIQUELY to non-BitRaider patching. I am not a fan of it, but it is a cold, hard fact.
  4. Well, mine wouldn't download until I switched on the BitRaider part (believe it or not) Seems to be a problem with the stand-alone part.
  5. Personnally, I am waiting for naked Dorne, naked Kira and naked Jaesa. Make it happen, BW ! And : We also need more sexy gear for our female toons. This as a side note.
  6. Eric, is there an issue with the patching server ?
  7. Relics and Implants are hardest to come by, so MK-1 216 implants and 216 relic would be nice ORRRRR.....Expertise gear, so PvP won't need to kick players anymore because they don't have 2016 Expertise.
  8. I mentioned in bold it redownloaded 25 gigs of game assets
  9. Pro tip : don't get any B2B software, as any serious software company would actually do that. And another one : You REALLY think any software is actually bug-free ?
  10. Thn you also know the troubleshooting / beta testing should be done BEFORE deployment, and IF there are major issues, there is the possibility to rollback. also gives you the possibility to quietely search for a root cause. ITIL standard procedure
  11. Second dev team ? Are you kidding me ? Would EU need different coded patches then US ? News flash : programming and deployment are two different pieces of cake. You don't need that actually. You can deploy patches on US servers first, and deploy it on EU servers later. And news flash : they already HAVE a team in Dublin, Ireland, which is maintaining the EA servers for EU over there. No extra cost, just phased maintenance. And I am pretty sure they can't deploy patches in EU on remote from the USA.
  12. Several people requested this, and here it is : GET RID OF BITRAIDER : Navigate to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic Delete the BitRaider sub directory. Delete the Assets folder Delete the Movies folder Valid for Win 7 / 8 / 10 TP Open the launcher.settings file with Notepad and change the following : , "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"BR\" }" , "bitraider_download_complete": { "swtor": true } , "bitraider_disable": false To: , "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }" , "bitraider_download_complete": { "swtor": false } , "bitraider_disable": true Warning : This will redownload the game assetts, which is a 25 GB or so download. Don't do this 25 minutes before ops start !
  13. Yup, and they also know stuff needs beta testing, and that has been done extensively on this patch ..... Oh wait ...
  14. And I patched just fine. Then again, I got rid of BitRaider a LONG, LONG time ago....
  15. EU servers in located in IRELAND, which is still in EU according to my latest info.
  16. Oh, there is a bug with the timezone of the website, it is GMT+2 whereas I am in a GMT+1 timezone .....
  17. Is not having C2 a loss ? Nah, I didn't thnk so !
  18. I'm using a 300 mbit fiberoptics connection, but for some "odd" reason, I can't get more then 200-300 KB/s; My download test shows 30 MB/s DL capacity. Conclusion : servers are swamped, and bandwidthis artificially limited. I think BioWare should have been prepared with a 9 GB patch and have provided according server capacity and linked bandwidth...
  19. Yeah, let's add more trolls to the forums as well.....Ah, don't even bother with this. Some people can't just be satisfied anyway.
  20. 1. Karagga-style Hutt mount (multi-toon) 2. Kephess style mount 3. Basilisk War Droid
  21. No. VG/PT Sonic Rebounder adds survivability for the whole raid / team. Hence, this change will influence not only the toon, but a whole raid group. This MAY be good for PvP, but will gimp the VG/PT tank in PvE, where they are already lagging behind the other tank classes in survivability while being min/max 198 geared. Mind also the relative lack of the PT/VG comparing to (especially) Jugg/Guardian and Sin/Shadow concerning defensive cooldowns, I think it is just that this class has slightly more taunt possiblities then the other two. The fact that the VG/PT "are the best for most fights in PvE" is just because of their higher base mitigation, and that is only because they lack the def CD the other classes have. That being said, I am still kinda missing the extra 2% Def for all kinds of damage we had pre-3.0. That may replace the actual 4-set bonus, add the 6 set bonus, and get the following : - 2 set : stays as it is. - 4 Set : Gives 2% to Def for all types of incoming damage and the use of Rocket Punch / Stockstrike reduces the cooldown on Sonic Round and Sonic Missile by 1.5 sec (down from 2, no more reduction on Neural Jolt / Neural Dart). - 6 set : Stays as it is
