  1. The whole "love is bad" for Jedi is certainly the most illogical and incoherent thing ever. "Kill 100 people and torture them" + 50 dark Side "Kiss the woman you love" + 50 dark Side righhht
  2. Imperial Agent: 9/10, almost perfect in every aspect Bounty Hunter: 7/10 good job at making it feel personnal, but still a bit repeatitive at times Sith Inquisitor: 2/10, Act 1 is ok, and has a cool twist, then it is so bad it hurts Jedi Knight: 3/10 for first act, only one I did so far, as it felt uninteresting and like any class could have done it, not just a jedi, basically not enough "Force related" Jedi Consular: 2/10 bad for act 1 so far Sith Warrior: 8/10 Act 1 and 2 completed, third on the way, very cool and very ****** story so far.
  3. I have seen completely or almost: Imperial Agent: Best so far Bounty Hunter: Very nice, especially light side, playing the "Bounty Hunter with Honor" style, but a bit repeatitive by the end, though they did a good job making it feel personnal. Sith Inquisitor: Just terrible, avoid at all cost if you are looking for a good story. Jedi Knight: Only seen till act 1, but doesn't start really interesting, heard it gets a lot better at act 2 though jedi Consular: Only seen act 1, was pretty boring and far fetched.
  4. The mariage is awefully close to 10k though, and the "I want to have your babies" even closer. As for the "I want your babies" thing, it is definitely tied to the legacy system, since you ll be able to say that some of your alt are the kids of your main. Hell the companion even mention it "I want to protect your legacy" But yes, that might be the issue, maybe the mariage should have happened earlier like around 5k affection and end of act 2 or so, and then expand on the relationship in act 3.
  5. Imperial Agent has some very nice Branching. I won't spoil it, but end of act 1 for example has some very important choices that have strong impact in the follow up of event.
  6. I found the ending pretty cool, but it might depends of the choice you made ^^ And yes that was cliché but at least ****** cliché, SI inquisitor is bad all along and certainly never ******.
  7. What is not clear is what race can mate with each other. It also says indeed that Chiss might be a long lost human colony, so can they have kids with Human? Sith Pureblood apparently can, but can Twilek mate with human? And Ratataki? etc Guess we ll see that when they implement the legacy family tree.
  8. I played and completed the Imperial Agent story and it was pure awesomeness from start to finish. Not to mention that this one of the few story that has actual major branching. Sith Inquisitor on the contrary is boring and only manages to make you feel weak without any proper goal to drive you.
  9. Yep, pretty much the whole SI story is terrible. Predictable, boring, doesn't make sense, makes you feel weak and dumb all along. Act 2 is the worst since it basically serves no purpose, you do ALL of Act 2, only to end doing Nothing besides coming back to square 1 in a worst state and reminded again that you are dumb.
  10. Saw Bounty Hunter, Imperial Agent to completion. They are both quite good, even though Bounty Hunter feel a bit repetitive after a while. Imperial Agent was pure awesomeness. Currently doing Sith Inquisitor, I am up to Belsavis, Act 3, and it is by far the worst story so far. Illogic, no real epicness, you feel weak and dumb all along, the goals are uninteresting, it is full of "defeat by cutscenes" It was ok up till the end of Act 1, but Act 2 was horribly boring and disapointing.
  11. You mean the moment where he says you can't control that much power and that you are dumb, and he is actually right? That was real bad.
  12. So, I finished act 2 of the Sith Inquisitor Story and I am now halfway through act 3, and compared to the Imperial Agent story (that I already completed), it is a really big disapointment. Let me explain why: 1) Very few surprises, Darth Zash betrayal is more than obvious, so much that every single NPC likes to remind it to you. 2) You never actually feel powerful or respected, the story does a very good job at making you look dumb or weak. 3) There is waaayyy to much of what I call "Defeat by Cutscene" 4) The whole act 2 is basically useless, in reality NOTHING happens Act 1: You start as a slave and everyone tell you so and threat you so End of act 1, you finally feel a bit powerful, you get ready to kick Zash ***, but even though you drop her to 0 hit point, she "defeat you by cutscene" right after it. Yep you are weak and only luck because Khem Val jump in the middle of it, saves you. End of Act 1, you get your apprentices, that comes out of nowhere, but alright, you are like "Finally I am getting cool!" Act 2: Dark Thanaton tell you to go to a Tomb, you go there and almost get killed by a ghost, another Defeat by Cutscene and you only get saved by your ancestor, who remind you that you are weak and dumb. Thanks You do back and forth to get 2 ghosts with the ritual, then go to Dark Thanaton and guess what happens....Defeat by Cutscene! Yep you are so weak that you don't even get the right to fight him. Luckily (Again), you get saved by your apprentices. Pffieew. So it is off to get even more ghosts! Yay! Of course, your apprentices get killed, and the little power base you felt you had is destroyed... 20 hours later and 2 more ghosts, you go to see Thanaton and after defeating a crappy apprentice (yep you are just good enough to beat an apprentice apparently), you get....Defeated by Cutscene AGAIN by Thanaton. Yep that's right, everything you did was for nothing, you just get your *** kicked again, even worse you are now dieing because of "too much power"...Right. In comparison the Sith Warrior kills a dark council member at the same time and their story is full of victories and *** kicking. Act 3: It is yet again Thanaton, feels to me like it is more Act 2.5, but hey, and you now have to go to Belsavis and Voss to cure yourself of your own stupidness... Not to mention that the whole rivality with Thanaton and why he wants to kill us is very uninteresting: I need to kill everything that was tied to Zash! Right. Really that's bad, maybe I ll have a surprise by the end of act 3, but I highly doubt it. Weak, uninteresting, full of Death by Cutscenes. bad bad story.
  13. Server yes, but NOT faction bound. By that I mean if you switch server, you can have a different legacy name. But if you switch faction, but stay on the same server, the legacy name carries over.
  14. Indeed, the description currently say the legacy level you gain now will be retroactive. But it doesn't say if the feature you ll get through those levels will be. I really would like more info about the legacy system in general to be honest.
  15. Slicing is fine yes. It is NOT about making credits but about getting augments and rare missions. The fact that it "can" make credit is a bonus, but not the goal of the skill, the main source of credits income from it, are the slicing spots in the open world, especially at high level it is quite nice.
  16. And that's bad why exactly? Now people will just take Biochem and won't switch back, because the others crafting profession are 100% useless. Before they would switch back and that way allow for profession diversity. So explain me, why is it bad if everyone can just get biochem 400, get the reusable and switch? You spend money, grind it to 400, get a reward for your effort and switch back. Everyone could do it, no problem, that would be part of the high end balancing and taken into account as such. Now it is the same, besides that the other profession will be ignored completely.
  17. I thought the same thing hehe. I had armstech too, dropped it once I hit level 50. Due to the fact that getting high level purple recipe require a like a hundred reverse engineering and that they are anyway not as good as anything you can get with daily commendation in 30 min. As for making money, well you make at least 200k in 2 hours at level 50, and that's without even really trying.
  18. I did ALL the game with my wife in group, from 1 to 50. We finished a bit above Rank 5 and are now Rank 6 after a couple weeks of daily quest. The max is apparently rank 10, yep it is going to take a while for sure. That being said I only know of one thing requiring rank 10, think you can wear all social gear with rank 5 or 6.
  19. Seriously...a detail like this is holding you back from playing a class? Do yourself a favor and stop being a princess, and enjoy one of the best storyline in the game which is the Imperial Agent one.
  20. I think the point of slicing is more to get the recipe and purple mission than to make money. So I don't really see an issue here. Not to mention that you still make free money by simply slicing the containers everywhere, and there are a lot, especially at high level.
  21. Yes it would help. Those mods could drop from raids mobs. Anyway clearly bioware has made a LOT of newbie design mistakes in the game. Thing that should be considered obvious or mandatory for any modern MMO, and also simply design decision that any first year design student get quickly taught not to do (abusing random for example, like in the crafting system: Random missions, that gives random result, to create item, that can be reverse engineered for random material, with a random chance to get an upgraded recipe that you can randomly crit when you create it. Seriously...This is bad very bad game design, using random as a cheap/easy/flawed way to balance something) I am a bit disappointed to be honest, I am a Game designer myself, and I work on RPG games and I was expecting them to either have some really knowledgeable people on their team, or at least properly research the market and features in a modern MMO. But apparently they didn't. So let's just say that there is a LOT of solutions to the current issue, but I wonder if they even realize it. That being said it could also be the case of some really bad Creative director, Lead or Producer who overule people on design issues and act stupidly, I have seen those type way too often before myself.
  22. The custom gear/mods thing is only fully viable if EVERY items in the game are FULLY modable. Which is not the case, thus making non moddable item that are less good than modded item useless, and non moddable item that are better than modded item, mandatory. So yes we need appearance tab, but that doesn't mean removing the mod system, but at least if you get both you can mix and match your appearance with the appearance tab AND finetune the stats on those items using the mods. That is the best of both world and easiest to implement right now. Otherwise the only other solution is to make EVERYTHING moddable, and have raid mobs drops: 1) Powerful mods 2) Orange items with unique skin but that's a lot more work. The current system falls on itself because of the raid items that are not fully moddable, and the green/blue items that are useless as soon as you get an orange item for that slot.
  23. I thought Rakata stims were bind on pickup AND required 400 biochem to use, don't they?
