  1. Ignore everyone here, and welcome to November. This has been an issue for a huge number of people. Check customer service forums. I don't mean ignore them in a bad way, but nothing works and if it does, it's luck. It's due to EA's fraudulent billing systems. I was able to buy coins the day the cartel market opened, and for 1 month my account was blocked from purchasing anything It worked very randomly once in that month, I was able to buy a random 2200 coins before it blocked again. I left it. I tried again a few days ago and it worked fine. Being so surprised and happy, and paranoid it would happen again I decided to blow all my month's income and stock up on coins. Managed to buy 4 5500 coin packs and now I'm back to blocked again. Used to get standard error message, but since last time I've been getting a new error message NUS2001 Edit. Forgot to say, the only way to fix this is to call billing support, and explain situation. They will revert you to a 'higher team' who can apparently fix it. I've not done his myself as I don't want to spend 5 hours on hold
  2. I just can't not do a bonus series. It's a continuation of the story, and helps cement everything you've just been doing. I feel wrong skipping it, selfish almost. Doing my **** then getting out. The only bonus series I've ever missed was Alderaan once, and as soon as I found out it was first thing I did on my 50
  3. Imperial Agent story is for sure the most dramatic and interesting, but my all round favourite is the Sith Warrior story. It's a slow build up from beginning to end, all the while the epicness grows and grows. Every quest you do seems to have massive effects on the planet/galaxy/war. And it matches really nicely after doing Knight. however I can't recommend enough playing it 'properly' which so few people do. Instead of just picking LS or DS choices to grind points, instead actually role play it. I have 2 warriors: a juggernaut and marauder. I played the Jug fully DS and it was boring as hell after a while. However, the marauder I played mainly LS but with more than enough DS choices. And it was infinitely more fun and interesting. Instead of playing a dumb (and yes DS Sith are nothing BUT dumb) mindless brute, you play a powerful knight and vanguard for the Empire, hero to your people. Imperial Agent story is utterly amazing too. You get such a different outlook on everything, and you realise that almost everything that happens in the galaxy is down to Intellligence, not the power plays of Jedi/Sith. You see Galaxy from a 'real' perspective, not of the superhuman Jedi/Sith. But a 'normal' citizen. Plus, you're James Bond meets Hitman. Bounty Hunter is my least favourite class in game. Chapter 1 is okay, after that it is pretty repetitive and dull. Sith Inquisitor is weird. Chapter 1 and 2 sucked, but chapter 3 was epic on scale of Agent/Warrior which I personally say does make up for it. It's also very 'different'. As an inquisitor, you really don't give a **** about the Empire, the Republic, the galactic war. Pure interested in your personal exploits. Gaining power, doing ancient Sith rituals etc. so it's a very different feel, some hate it as its completely irrelevant to th 'Star Wars'-ness, but it again is fun to see a different perspective and take on things
  4. Oh my god how little attention do you pay during cutscenes?! Do you space bar through everything? 1- The Emperor's Hands (2 Pureblood Sith who save you) are the Emperor's direct servants. Along with the Emperor's Voice, Emperor's Hands, Emperor's Wrath (you). You serve the number 1 highest call in the Sith Empire. They take orders from the Emperor himself, and even the Dark Council doesn't get in our way. 2- because that's what Baras does. He's a master of intelligence, spies, backstabbing etc. plus it'd be pretty stupid to just announce that you're taking over. He wants to 'legitimately' take power by telling lies. A much cleverer idea that involves little-no fighting. Draahg was another (secret) apprentice of Darth Baras. You save him, you take down Darth Vengean (was it no,? Memory fades me) together. He is then tasked with killing you a-la Baras style.
  5. I have to disagree completely. This game, and levelling, is far too easy if you play you know, the game. Do your class quests, follow the main world story arcs, and bonus series only, that is enough to get you to 50 by Voss. That is just doing the story, the number 1 best thing about this game. That's without doing all the flashpoints, and some space combat and/or Pvp mixed in. On my first 2 characters I did absolutely everything that was offered to me (note I never had to go out of my way) and hit level 50 half way through Belsavis. While I agree some mobs and packs are infuriatingly 'hard' (more inconvenient) if you gear yourself up (which is given to you in planet commendations through quests) it's an absolute cake walk. The only thing that annoys me are strong mobs, who on the whole are much harder than elites a pack of 2 strongs is almost always harder than say, a champion and/or elite. And if you don't like your companions, then you mustn't be that into the story, in which case what's the point. They're your team. EDIT- agreed with poster above me. The dullest thing is that combat is too easy and unimaginative. Ridiculous amounts of killing, over and over. One of the worst I can think of on top of my head is on Tatooine, in the bit with Sand People camp. Gotta kill 30 for quest, 15 for bonus quest so you think uh... Okay only 15 more. Then it updates and you have to kill 40.. forty more mobs!! Them to destroy some stuff and then kill the boss. All of which is is another corridor full of respawning mobs. It is SO boring, and tedious. And the game is made up almost entirely of these ****** quests
  6. Absolutely pathetic. I you had problems you wouldn't waste that amount of money on some stupid *** mount. I personally am fortunate enough to not have bad money problems, and have a large enough disposable income to spend hundreds of pounds on a game, but for a bloody mount?! Your name keeps popping up on the most ridiculous posts you start. One would think Bioware had you tied up in their basement
  7. mokkh, give up. You were being condescending and trying to get out of it by making up some ******** about brevity and typing? Pathetic.
  8. I've been rolling that title on one of my alts since the first pack I opened. And not seen 1 other person with it. Not meaning it's rare, maybe just unwanted. Opened about 20 packs, got 1 white crystal, 10 tythonian lightsabers (got 1 on each of my lightsaber-wielding toons and still made about 5 million just on these) 1 destroyer's double-bladed lightsaber, loads of blasters, 1 sniper rifle,1 blaster rifle, every mount and pet. But no mask!! Only thing I wanted guess I'll keep trying!
  9. Agreed, they will change you Expletive: Damn it, master, I am an assassination droid... not a dictionary!
  10. Imperial Agent and Sith Warriors have in my opinion the best story by a long way. Have numerously rerolled both classes. Sniper is my favourite class purely on a gameplay scale. And dps (your damage as a sniper is ridiculous. By level 40 you become pretty unstoppable). 2nd favourite is juggernaut, then assassin (however Inquisitor story chapter 1-2 is pretty boring and pointless)
  11. Ridiculously easy content, as long as you have a bit of common sense and situational awareness (which isn't needed for solo play to your standards). I'm going to go as far in saying that -YOU-, OP, are the reason your groups failed. I've never ever seen or heard about a level 50 group failing any of these (unless HK bugs) So, you saying that group content is easier than solo content, and requires you to just stand there and not think, you are obviously the cause for failure. You cannot not think in HMs. Almost all bosses have 1 major tactic to stop, and several other situations to watch out for. You can't just stand there, ever. And if you are (which you claim you are), then you have a serious case of L2P
  12. Great, and lose all the fan base who play purely for story. (Like me) I couldn't care less about 'end-game content' and the second they remove story as a pillar and concentrate more on the MMO features, I'm off and others like me I'm sure.
