  1. I like a few of the sets though the base colours ain't the nicest some of the others are nicer i just don't get the Consular choices...They are so feminine...i would understand if they changed per sex like some models do for other pieces, but from what ive seen they are exactly same on male characters... I approve of the No skirt route they have went down but maybe a bit more masculine would be nice Also better watch out when travelling with sorcs if they trip while force speeding they might cut you!
  2. I agree that i was upset with no new races. I still pray that one day i may have my Kel Dor Sage Healer (tho upset if i have to remake my sage to do this) But i think your claims of it being greedy are uncalled for, the amout of content we are receiving in 1.2 which is a FREE patch might i add is already higher than i've seen in a free patch for any mmo that i can remember having played Lotro/Wow/Rift(a little) They may be keeping these new races for the next free patch you don't know.
  3. I like how you guys are ignoring the discussion saying the change was needed. we get that something had to change, just not as drastic as it was...
  4. I understand there are other topics about this most likely but i just want to compile possible suggestions that came up during discussions on forum posts and in game. Firstly im sure its a bug but some dot skills (direct single target skills) that when placed on an enemy do not stop caps. I'm sure this is an oversight, i understand you changed the dots not stopping caps but the initial skill hit should at least stop it? Ok back on topic.. Instead of how it was All dots stop caps and how it is not No dots stop caps these suggestions appeared Allowing Dots to stop caps only as long as the player that applied the dot is alive. (if killed all future dot applications will not stop caps until they are re applied). Allowing the introduction of a new Consumable Warzone Cleanse Pack which (cooldown to be discussed) will remove all negative damage effects from the target. Allowing Dots to stop caps only as long as the player stays within a specific range of the target maybe 10m more than the current damage range of the class, or equivalent to their damage range. Allowing Dots instead to increase the time taken to cap a point instead of giving a full set back. Allowing Dot specced tree's to have an additional bonus added on top top end passives that will make dots stop caps (normally they wont) This would have to be high enough into the tree that it will make it so that dot specced classes will get the benefit but hybrids and other classes may not. Allowing Dots to Cap points but allowing Healers who are full into the healing tree to be able to remove all negative dot effects with their cleanse ability, this would mean healers using their cleanse ability would become more needed If anyone has any other suggestions or balances to placed ones feel free to point them out and post here and ill update as necessary
  5. If you had read my many suggestions think ive had 4/5 now in this forum i said that one suggestion should be that Dots do not stop capps (or deplete tho thats a different discussion) if the player is killed. Clearly people are reading what they want to out of what i say but i have explained that it was a utility bonus that came with dot specced classes also due to change dot specced ppl cant focus on dealing as much to an enemy oops team as possible as they need to basically stay single target in order to stop caps, which really destroys the amount of dps. And that you for being first person who's in the against team who came up with a suggestion. which is to if they are in range of of their dot skills that they stop caps.. that would also be a nice useful utility without the space for exploit
  6. Thats a fair statement tbh i understand some of the dots are hard to see. I'm not gonna say lrn2play like others will cos i know it took me a while to get to the point of healing i am at now. Also agree that ppl should help out us healers more often maur/sent on us 24/7 gets tiring. But i do think that they should cater more for people who uses skills rather than try make it easier for people who group with those who do not cleanse
  7. So the fact that people in your team don't use cleanse that means people with dots specced should be punished? I don't really find that fair. But 9/10 times Burst classes do way more overall damage than dot classes, also most burst classes also have survivability skills. I'm not saying dot based classes are solely about stopping caps, but it was one of their utility aspects that made them very useful in pvp. Im not saying it should go back to how it was im just saying that the current system is a bit to far in the other direction. But not one person who is on the dots = no caps camp have came up with any balance suggestions only the people on the other side who trying to find a way for it to work even not full cap stop Thanks for joining the discussion before you read everything... No thats not what i said i said it has diminished some of the aspects they could be used to help utility as a lot of the dot specs cannot output the level of dps that most burst specs can
  8. Missed your post while typing but someone in my chat channel just suggested this and i posted it also
  9. What about the introduction of a Warzone Medpack style consumable that removes all negative affects from the player with a cooldown (1m? 90s? 3m?) depending on balance this would also help alleviate the problem i under stand the old way was not great, but i notice not one person who disagree's with me has put forward a suggestion that could make it fairer for both sides.
  10. Your saying that in your whole group not one person was a scoundrel/commando or sage (or imperial equivalent) as these classes can remove the majority of dots. If anything it makes defence less tactical because to defend a point well all you need now is more bust damage, kill them asap before they kill you. No capping dots while alive and keeping out of LOS while you call for reinforcements. More burst is not more tactics. I'm happy for my healing class' dots to be useless for defending caps ok i'm not happy but i wouldn't mind it if i knew that some classes who are based around it could do it or at least help with it by previous stated, slowing caps, or making first tick stop caps etc etc
  11. Even this would help the problem its stupid that some skills are now completely useless cap stopping when you hit someone with a skill and it doesn't stop a cap that is a fundamental problem. Not just talking about after effects of the skill but the direct application of a skill on a player should stop a cap
  12. Yea i agree with this, this would also help the problem as if they were more curable they would be more manageable. No but a true dot based spec has to spread the dots out to as many people as possible to be effective. But with this change they have to keep on single targets to make sure each person dies so they cant cap. which reduces a lot of damage potential. It may be ok for some classes which have dots and bust but for the dot based classes such as Dirty Fighting/ Lethality which also have no escapes (ie sage sprint) and no self healing, their main objective for most warzones was to stop caps and do widespread damage which with this change both of those goals have sorely diminished Another change here which i would have approved of that you mentioned is if they made it that dots did not stop caps or did not work at all if the player was dead, which would mean that if they spotted a dot based character stopping caps the way to deal with them would be to kill them then cap still making them useful for stopping caps but stopping the whole run back while dot stops them problem
  13. Another suggested pointed out to me would be for Very High up in a dot specific tree, which would mean that the person would need to be basically full into that tree so not hybrids. Have an extra bonus added to one of their passive skills which would mean that Dots Would interrupt capping/placements. This would alleviate the use of it by all classes therefore making it more overall balanced but would make the truly dot based classes still viable options to help in warzones tactically, I realise this won't help me as much defending solo but i don't mind if i cant defend solo i just don't want easymode burst classes to get more love than the more tactical based ones.
  14. We saw this in patch notes before and a lot of people complained i for one thought i would wait it out and experience it myself before passing judgement . I realise the explanation that some members of the community had that meant that defending points on Civil war was hard if they put a long dot on and died then could come back before it had ran out. But seriously what they have done is gimped dot specific classes and now every Warzone i enter is just BURST TO WIN. I realise its still early and some people are getting used to the change but If people are not smart enough to cure dots which a lot of the advanced classes can do (i realise not all) then that's the problem of the player not the class. For instance it seems that gunslingers in Dirty Fighting seem to be pointless as they not cant focus on dpsing fully with putting dots on as many people as they have to focus on single target to get people down to stop caps which really decreases their output. I for one am a Sage Healer and when defending a point or taking one i would always make sure to cure dots on people if capping to make sure we take it or would have to use dots in order to stop something being capped while i call for reinforcements. Now i just get burst damaged down and lose the point... i cant defend as well any more as i need to focus on single target hits to stop capping then if i am doing that i lose my healing output which means i cant survive. I don't fully understand why this change had to be made so drastically, With the speeder induction time they problems of dots running out before person re appears should not be a problem. Why couldn't they have held of this change to see if it alone would benefit or at least made it so that dots would set the induction back, not fully but slowly or just make the capping of points or placement of bombs take longer while dots are in affect against the target? It really upsets me that the choice for balance of the game was to help easymode burst classes such as sage dps hybrids and the like over more tactical dot placement as dirty fighting. I guess there have been more threads on this i haven't notice but just wanted to have my say and see if people here agree with me that maybe this full change for lack of capping /placement was really the best choice?
  15. Guess no one on forums having this problem? is it just people on the Luka Sene server?
