  1. there are multiple problems with this you see: 1. story items in Cartel Packs. (yes they will be on youtube, yes they will be GTN but the FACT is that is story content NOT available to subscribers without paying for it) 2. ONE TIME USE use data cubes instead of rare items in cartel packs. a rare items slot is taken up by the data cube. (you can only use one of them, after that the other in your inventory become unusable) 3. against what was told us where cartel items will only contain vanity items eric i ask you to come and reply to this: here is what you said in the past
  2. what about the people paying for packs hoping for rare items and getting multiple data cubes. there is at least one thread on the forums about someone saying that they are getting a crap tonne of data cubes for opening crates.
  3. eric has repeatedly mentioned REPEATEDLY that all cartel items will be aesthetic only. now people who are interested in the story are forced to purchase the cartel packs hoping to get a cube. once again they have done something that flies directly against what they have said in the past.
  4. each cube gives u a quest on Nar Shadda with a 1 minute cutscene of the shroud talking about his plans. there are 4 cubes in total. also looking at it form the view of people buying cartel packs, they are getting multiple useless items. these cubes are purple items. so people paying for packs are basically being cheated out of one purple item everytime they get a encrypted cube.

  6. i am sorry but this is completely uncalled for? why are there cutscenes unlocks in the cartel market? these provide interesting information about the story. it is absurd for having to pay for them. that too in gamble boxes. die you learn nothing for 2.1? 2.2 was supposed to be subscriber centric and not u put 'extra scene/bonus content' from one of the most interesting quests in the packs? it is completely wrong!
  7. i believe u have to select it in the dropdown menu in the modification menu. u can't drag and drop it in the window.
  8. i am talking about the Hammer Station HM flashpoint. Battlelord Kreshan has just way too much health. it is a good fight but very repetitive and does not have any special mechanics that require him to have over 900k health. all it does is make the fight extremely long. all i am saying is that the heath be dropped a little to make it less boring... the fight is super easy even with a crappy group but just takes way too long.

  10. i run the game in full screen (windowed) mode. but the SWTOR is never shown in the taskbar. i can still ALT+Tab. can u fix it it's very frustrating.
  11. agreed. if they were bugged they should have been fixed ages ago. the original toys were released back in 1.5. This was never put as a known issue for over 7 months and thus should not be attributed to a bug!
  12. First i know the Patch Notes state that these armors don't fall under a account wide unlock. (lvl 15, 31 and 43 sets) Reason? Because they come with mods. Fair enough. However, they were the first sets that were released and a lot of people (including myself) loved them. All the armors and sets released later are available for collections (and account-wide unlock) since they don't come with mods attached. Bioware i request you that you make these armor set available for unlocking for alts. The resultant pieces can be just orange shells (or empty purple shells). but i think it will make a lot of people happy. Example: Destroyer and Investigator sets. PS: The tutorial window actually shows these two sets as retrievable from your collections soo....
  13. is there a way to do these dalies without having the macrobinoculiors and seeker droid quest in the quest log? i don't want to do these again on an alt. but i don't want these two missions taking up space in my quest log. this is very annoying. is there a workaround?

  17. i have been getting constant lag peaks since thrusday afternoon eastern time (every 10-15s). has anyone else been getting these? i have a 50Mbps connection and everything else is working fine, only swtor as been lagging. EDIT: I am on the Shadowlands
  18. I have posted some basic tips on how to handle the mobs in the world and flashpoints in the 4-Man group. These are the basic rules that i follow while playing. I may be wrong somewhere or there might be a better tactic, if so please feel free to post it in the comments. NOTE: This guide is made assuming the the mobs and players are of the same level. if the mob is lvl 50, then the players are wearing a maximum of Tionese gear. For world mobs the role of a tank/healer are often less critical if the entire squad is over geared. This also applies to flashpoint mobs. again it is assumed that the player are within the acceptable lvl range and are not over geared. I am assuming that no one has the foresight/ability to stealth stun before the fight starts I am also assuming that all players are not experts but also not completely incompetent. Push backs: DO NOT use push backs to do damage, this affects the agro table and causes problems for the tank. Push backs should only be used either to push mobs of the level (into deep pits, lava, fire and basically into any area that instant kills them). Another acceptable use for push backs is increase the distance between the mobs and you. Healers and rDps can use this to gain a little breathing space. though after using a push back, the tank should either taunt the mob off or the dps/healer should use an agro drop. Mob type: All weak, 1 Strong rest weak, 2 Strong rest weak, 1 Elite rest weak Tactic: Tank should use AoE taunt so you can group them together and then DPS can drop massive AoEs on them. Tank should try to keep agro as it is very easy to for dps to get agro when using AoE attacks. Healer can drop an AoE heals if necessary otherwise just put a HoT on the tank. Do not waste energy pool on AoE stuns as they will break immediately under the AoE damage. All Dps can focus on one target after dropping AoE however it is more efficient to split the mob. Mob type: 3 Strong rest weak, 2 Strong 1 Elite rest weak, 2 Elite rest weak Tactic: DO NOT AoE taunt unless u want to grief the Healer, while it is still possible to heal in this situation, it will take an adequately skilled healer to do so. Tank should taunt the strongest mob and use high agro moves (example: pull) to gain agro with the second strongest mob. Dps should pick up the 3rd strongest mob and burn him down. Healer should focus heals on the tank as he might be taking moderate amounts of damage which can quickly add up of not controlled. Also give small periodic heals to the dps to top them up. Dps should use either agro drops or damage reducing abilities to take a load of the healer. Be careful while using an agro drop as this might cause the mob to agro on the healer. A Tank may AoE taunt once the mob has been thinned down. DO NOT AoE taunt if u are below 40% health. Mob type: [HEROIC Mob] 5 Strong rest weak, 2 Strong 2 Elite rest weak, 4 Elite rest weak , 1 Champion 3 Elite rest weak Tactic: DO NOT AoE taunt as it will under most circumstances cause a wipe. Tank should pick up the strongest, the seconds strongest and the third. Healer should be concentrating large heals on the tank to keep him over 50% at all times. Dps should focus on one target at a time to bring them down quickly. DO NOT USE AoE abilities as, they will not cause enough damage to be viable and interfere with the agro table. Healer should drop a AoE heals to keep the party topped up. Dps should try to keep their own health above 60% to prevent surprise deaths by massive hits. If you go under 60% use agro drops.

  20. first, both the carbonite chamber and the kolto tanks are AWESOME! but when i use them without my lightsabers stowed, they are still showed in the animation ruining it. Can u please fix it? i don't know how this affects other weapons, i have only tested these on my shadow with double bladed lightsaber
