  1. First, let me commend you for such a detailed proposal. I like the game's reputation systems, so I like the idea of adding overall Republic and Empire faction reputation. I like the idea of new events and activities that drop bind-on-legacy gear. However, I like bind-on-equip loot drops even more. I like the idea of all my toons on both factions being able to friend each other, because that would permit auto-completion of recipient name when sending mail to alts, but I can't think of any other benefit that would provide. I must say; however, that I don't like the idea of a "Main" toon that is treated differently from my other toons. You said a few times in your post that the idea of a Main is essential to the other concepts, but you declined to explain why. I read your post a few times, and it seems to me like the other ideas would work OK without the Main concept.
  2. Yes, but before patch 2.6, you received xp for enemies within 6 levels of you. My guess is that the PvE bolster system added for the Kuat Drive Yards tactical flashpoint broke the normal non-bolstered PvE xp system. Admittedly, that's pure speculation.
  3. Perhaps. I worded this ticket very similarly to the other ticket that I submitted about the patch 2.6 change to the Frenzied Zealot's chestpiece. The CS person who responded to that ticket understood what I was saying, and said that it was an intended change.
  4. I created a new thread in the Suggestion Box area to request the Classic Zealot's chestpiece be made available to customers who unlocked the original look before patch 2.6. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=7183798
  5. This is a follow-up to a Bug Report thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=714568 The Frenzied Zealot chestpiece was changed in patch 2.6. A front modesty panel was added, and the color scheme was changed from red/crimson to red/black. I understand that these changes were intended, and I understand that the changes were made to satisfy customers who expected the look shown in the Collections window. The problem is that many customers, myself included, paid real money to unlock the original pre-patch-2.6 look of the Frenzied Zealot chestpiece. A similar problem happened in the past with several armor sets, and Bioware made the original versions available as Classic sets. The same remedy is needed in this situation. Bioware, please provide a Classic Zealot chestpiece to customers who paid to unlock the Frenzied Zealot set prior to patch 2.6. The Classic Zealot chestpiece should look like the original -- no modesty panel, and the red/crimson color scheme. The Classic Zealot chestpiece needs to be unlockable in Collections. Thank you.
  6. Customer service closed my ticket and said "We appreciate the time you spent sending us your impressions and ideas ... and we recommend posting them on our Suggestion Box forum". Ummm... what the heck? That is certainly not the kind of answer I expected. Customer service didn't even say that the change was intended.
  7. My customer service ticket was closed. They said the "changes are intended" and they "are unable to swap, refund, or affect any items that have been adjusted by a game content change as the change in the items is intended". Wrong answer, and not cool when people spend real money on items. I am very upset by this.
  8. I understand that some folks, who bought the CE at launch, may feel as though the CE vendor hasn't gotten much new stuff over the years. I just thought I'd offer myself and my questing partner as a counter-example -- even though we have been playing the game for a year and a half, we each recently bought a copy of the CE. We are both really happy with the cool stuff that the CE vendor offers.
  9. The OP's point is that he/she would buy more Cartel Market items if they were bind-to-legacy. The OP wants bind-to-legacy in order to avoid the augment slot addition costs and mod rip costs that come from multiple alts sharing mods in non-legacy bound gear. Sure, Bioware would like to make more money from the CM. But Bioware also seems to be pretty responsible in terms of ensuring the game's economy is healthy. Augment slot addition costs and mod rip costs are a very important credit sink, and are undoubtedly necessary for the health of the game's economy. Bioware would have to substitute one kind of credit sink for another, which might not meet the OP's requirements. In theory, Bioware could enable a CM item to be converted to bind-to-legacy by paying credits. The payment would need to be in credits, not Cartel Coins, in order to be an effective substitute credit sink. The credit fee would need to be rather high -- perhaps 50K credits per item.
  10. My friend (level 52 scoundrel) and I (level 52 guardian) are also seeing this problem. Level 46 enemies are green for us, but do not give any xp when killed. Level 47 enemies do give xp. Needless to say, this is a really big problem and needs to be fixed ASAP.
  11. I really liked the original Gav Daragon's belt. I paid about 1 million credits for Gav Daragon's set, and then paid real money to unlock it on Collections. All for the belt, because it was one of the most unique belts in the game. I then proceeded to use the belt with several of my various toons' outfits. I bought dyes, and I even paid real money in the Appearance Designer to change their looks to better go with the new outfits (hair styles, cosmetics, etc.). And now the belt's appearance has completely changed. I submitted a customer service ticket in game. Bioware needs to either change the belt back to the original look, or make the old belt model available to be unlocked in Collections.
  12. I am VERY unhappy with the patch 2.6 change that added a front modesty panel to the Frenzied Zealot chestpiece. I paid real money to unlock the old model in Collections, and now it looks different than what I paid for. I submitted a customer service ticket asking for the old chestpiece model to be provided.
  13. /signed I would love to see this. Basically, provide New Game+ for your class story (like the Mass Effect games), so you can keep your items, credits, etc and replay your story.
  14. I strongly support that suggestion, and I created a new Suggestion Box thread for it: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=713404
  15. I strongly support this suggestion: At the present time, it is very difficult for Armormechs and Synthweavers to determine what items will look like on the other faction. And customers of crafters cannot view our schematics to shop for items for alts on the other faction. What is needed is a toggle button at the bottom of the item preview window that toggles between the two factions and changes the items' appearances accordingly. Something similar to the draw-weapon toggle button.
  16. I strongly support the removal of class and level requirements from crafted orange gear. I understand that Bioware will want Cartel Market items to continue to be better than crafted items, and that will still be the case, since CM items are adaptive, while crafted items are weight-specific. In other words, I think that Bioware can remove class and level requirements from crafted orange gear without impacting the value of CM items. Furthermore, I would hope that Bioware can easily remove class and level requirements from crafted orange gear with a just a database change, rather than code changes. That would make this more likely to occur. For reference, another thread about this same topic: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=662669

  18. Each of the 4 base classes that you level adds that class's long-term buff to the long-term buff for all your alts. So the best thing to do is first level one each of the 4 base classes. There are some very useful account-wide Legacy unlocks such as Rocket Boots, but they become available after reaching a particular Legacy level, not simply from a particular character reaching level cap.
  19. Class: Inquisitor/Sorcerer Crew skill: Synthweaving Created a Customer Service Help Request in game. Lost 1 green purchased schematic. 1. Heavy Thermal Belt (green) Lost 4 blue schematics learned through RE. 2. Critical Heavy Thermal Belt (blue) 3. Redoubt Heavy Thermal Belt (blue) 4. Overkill Heavy Thermal Belt (blue) 5. Critical Combat Synth Waistcord (blue) I think they were lost at logout time.
