  1. Massive guilds that bring in anybody and everybody typically have nothing but a negative impact on conquest scores, to be honest. Ourselves, and the others winning conquest consecutively and repeatedly are either Specialised guilds (PvE, PvP / Conq) Or large social guilds and long-standing guilds like ourselves that has been here 4 years, do NOT mass recruit and just have a General, Healthy active Population and only about 180-200 Accounts. But you miss the point entirely. At no point did I ask the Member cap to be RAISED, per se. Just that the cap is calculated off unique accounts, instead of characters. This still means a maximum of 500 people online at any time, the same as it is now. If you took a guild of 500 mains, how is that any different to a guild with 200-300 mains but a few alts each? But at the moment this cannot be achieved. The point is this game is currently PUNISHING guilds and players that encourage Alt characters, which is a problem in a very Alt-focused game.
  2. I don't even see the problem at all here. You can level as normal, you can't out level planets and gank people, but you do get a superior reward for going back to re-do old content and heroics, which is a plus. Even though the game is still so faceroll easy with level sync it makes it mildly more interesting not to one-shot everything... that's a plus, and encourages people to group up to do old things like world bosses... again a plus. So remind what the negative of all this is again? "Right to level" *** is that? It's on the whole a good move, not perfect, but it seems the majority of people agree.
  3. The current 500 Member cap causes guild angst, and punishes successful players and guilds in a way that doesn't really protect small guilds. Especially now with the raise to 40 Character per server limit. A guild with 70-100 members can easily hit that 500 Character cap. As a Leader of a long term guild on The Red Eclipse, we've been battling this member cap with very tight regulations on inactivity and alts, yet it still impedes our progress and stalls recruitment. In our opinion, overflow guilds shouldn't really have to be a thing and split up our community. I know in the past you've said you were worried about performance issues on the engine, but surely with a 500 Member limit to begin with you were forseeing the possibility of 500 Members possibly being online simultaneously. So surely by having the Guild cap calculated on Unique accounts is no different? It would still allow a maximum of 500 online at any given time. You already have a system for calculating the amount of unique accounts for the experience and reputation guild boosts so I struggle how this could be a hard change to make. It's not as if countless threads on this topic have been stressed before. So I call on the community once again, to sign/approve of this movement and maybe one day we'll hear something from the Devs.

  9. True enough - Generally on auto-pilot when playing this kind of stuff, its hardly a challenge and then chill in cutscenes and tbh I wouldn't of even cared had I not found out later on another toon that lock-ins are now a thing.
  10. Not sure how this can be put down to Reading comprehension when it clearly isn't a matter of textual information or a book, it's a cinematically presented, voiced cutscene and the visual que should assist judgement imo. I'm not mad at BW just wanna know if there is future lockin points. Problem was, never had a "lock-in" in this game before, didn't know to look for one or even that it existed until I played my second toon through and saw it and thought "Ooh that's new" Otherwise I'd of just hit ESC first time round or more likely researched it prior. But awareness for others is a good thing imo, and hopefully more lockins in the future
  11. I think the whole storming out thing is just too do with how many "dissaproves" you get in cutscenes from them. Instead of influence or anything. I guess it's kinda nice for choices to finally have some impact, even if minor. Good signs that approval rating/"they'll remember that" and approves/disapproves could have major consequences later. Like Koth threatening that people don't like your methods in that scene. Could possibly get people to leave alliance altogether with disagreeing with your methods. It's intriguing and refreshing to have impact full convo
  12. Well I think this entire lock - in pop up notification is new to everyone, let alone forseeing it
  13. This is pretty much a Jackpot comment. Whereas linguistically and comprehensibly the statement is perfectly viable for interpretation in either way, the cinematography at the time is slightly leaning on one interpretation than another.
  14. To be honest I don't even understand their stupid argument. I admitted in the OP "I missed this trigger" not that BioWare made me miss this trigger. But, Socially, Comprehensibly and Linguistically their argument is flawed. There is no actual right or wrong interpretation of this in the English language. The words "I need to speak to one of you" within a group can be a dressed to a group or adressed to personally. If I was in a group of 6 colleagues of mine having a chat, then directly looked up at one of them and said "I need to speak to one of you" my eye contact and body language alone would immediately make said colleague recognise it was them I spoke to. If I however did not make direct body lingual suggestions to any in the group, it would be a group statement to which I would have to elaborate on in terms of identity. Neither interpretation is linguistically wrong. It's a pretty pointless argument tbh further proving that forum trolls latch onto anything to attack people. While 99% of the time making themselves look foolish in the process.
  15. Yup. I put this up as a warning and question to the community, as to the fact there IS a definite trigger, and where and how the trigger is obtained. And has also shed some light on some people that there is a notification on the lockin. Nothing more. ESC Is indeed your friend, I just so happened to talk to Lana normally and thought nothing of it, and went for different choices on another toon whereby discovered this. Considering the private conversation is almost identical wether you flirt or not at the party, I do feel the 2nd flirt could remain regardless, but it is what it is. In total honesty the most shocking thing for me was there was actually a Pop-up notification as to confirm a romance lock - in. Was like "oh, that's new"
  16. Maybe if you are so overwhelmingly intelligent you shouldn't be commenting on a thread that clearly doesn't concern you. Especially insulting others reading comprehension when you clearly cannot comprehend the fact in the origional post there was not at any point a "I blame BioWare for this" merely a warning to other players that most seem to appreciate.
  17. You have to pick the flirt option at the bar and inside the private convo for the popup. If you choose to talk to her normally you cannot lockin the romance
  18. No pop - up notification asking you to confirm the romance in the cantina scene, then no lockin. The previous kiss means nothing.
  19. This. I never claimed for a second this was BioWares fault, I merely put out a warning for others, seems I do not seem to be the only one who thinks staring into Therons eyes with a Flirt option of "I need to speak to one of you" may mean that "one" could be the person you're staring intently at, at the time. So Eleonora and Dijin, how about you guys go and learn to read instead of throwing *****ly troll comments at others cause your reading comprehension is obviously in a far worse state than mine, so that elementary school is more suited to your needs, and go **** with a cactus yourself while you're there.
  20. But I've not seen a "Are you ready to lock-in your romance" pop-up before either
  21. This guy gets it, and as for future chances, I hope so man, I hope so. I'm pretty bummed about fudging this one up on my Main. Really not very clear imho during that Theron/Party scene.
  22. Nah this is not it, this is simply not choosing the Party flirt option when speaking to Theron, and instead picking the "I need to speak to one of you" instead of the "(flirt) I need to speak to one of you" You get the private conversation with that character either way, but can only go for the lock-in if you pick the flirt option during the party which is vague.... to say the least.
