  1. I didn't realise when I posted before that we weren't supposed to edit start time. Watchman sent 36/8/2 2873.51 http://www.torparse.com/a/290163/time/1371376738/1371377107/0/Overview

  3. I uploaded that almost immediately after finishing and exiting combat, strange it isn't in there. I'll re-upload the log and see *** happened. Edit: larger log was there, still no idea what happened. http://www.torparse.com/a/286547/time/1371199655/1371199993/0/Overview
  4. 2896.74 http://www.torparse.com/a/286506/time/1371199655/1371199993/0/Overview 36/8/2 watchman sent I made a ton of errors, so I'll be reposting in a few days. Apparently there was some weird crap going on w/ that log. trimmed w/o an end to combat somehow. Here's the same segment from a much larger log file. http://www.torparse.com/a/286547/time/1371199655/1371199993/0/Overview

  6. This has to be a mistake. All previous relics RE'd have been BoE.
  7. Fiendseligkeit - 2759 watchman sent (36/8/2) mostly 72s with 69 mainhand and some 66s http://www.torparse.com/a/267847/time/1370333170/1370333496/0/Overview Animosity - 2569 hybrid gunslinger (5/18/23) mostly 69s and 63s http://www.torparse.com/a/267899/time/1370337039/1370337357/0/Overview I may post something from my sage later... rockin' around 2400 in 69s w/o a set bonus in hybrid balance spec (3/36/7). Too much fun to change up yet, and the crit it needs makes switching to full tk a pain.
  8. Nowhere near fully geared but here's 2722 in watchman spec. 5min 12sec http://www.torparse.com/a/265636/time/1370226440/1370226752/0/Overview
  9. Trimmed 5m 20s at 2650dps, total is ~2500dps for the entire duration.
  10. Just re-itemized a little bit, still running 102% accuracy. Updated stats are 2549 str, 1721 pwr, 18.67 crit, 70.09 surge. Relics are Underworld Relic of Serendipitous Assault and Elite Warhero Relic of Boundless Ages (152 pwr augmented). 69 mainhand, 72 offhand. http://www.torparse.com/a/230236/time/1368644653/1368644974/0/Overview - 2650 over 5m 20s. I'm still not too used to combat, staring at the cooldowns with no idea what icons / procs / buffs to watch for. I'm also not using valorous call on cooldown which would probably be helpful. As it stands though, I am happy with the dps I can pull in this spec and actually have quite a bit of fun using it.
  11. 2nd parse ever in combat spec, respecced about 20 minutes prior to this parse http://www.torparse.com/a/223921/time/1368348812/1368349113/0/Overview - combat trimmed to 5mins, 2612 dps Still geared for watchman spec, so I was sitting at 2520 str, 1600 pwr, 102.8% acc, 18.9% crit, 68% surge. 69 main and offhand. Normal parses when running watchman in this gear would give me between 2650 and 2700, I know I could have gotten more out of combat but as I said, 2nd parse ever in this spec so it was probably sloppy.
  12. For 12 +28str augs I'm looking at a return of .94% crit / 67.2 bonus damage vs 77.28 bonus damage. I'm not quite sure how that compares, but I'm willing to bet the break even of 10 bonus damage vs 1 crit is pretty close. I've just always assumed that if a dps class doesn't get a mainstat bonus, stack power augs. Sorry, forgot the 5% buff for str, crit is .975% bonus damage is 70.56. Just took a look at noxxic and the fact that the site is recommending the A mods for sentinel made me lose the remaining respect I had for them. Those have NEVER been bis and unless things change drastically, they never will. Deft 30: 63str / 52 pwr = 25.19 bonus damage /.18% crit Deft 30a: 77str / 29pwr = 22.94 bonus damage / .22% crit
  13. Currently running mostly 69s, 4 adv overkill 28 augments, 8 blue overkill 28s and the other 2 +18str. Sitting at a nice 2499str / 1500pwr / 99.45acc / 19.45 cirt / 67.65 surge. Mainhand damage is 1321-1538 (28 hilt) and melee bonus damage at 887. Running lower str / power, I think 2475 / 1470 or so I managed this: http://www.torparse.com/a/182770/18/0/Overview No ops dummy bs, unedited dreadguard fight (sm tfb) at 2340dps. I've played around and parsed at around 2550 or so. As it stands, I'm happy stacking power and ignoring crit. I am saving all my crit mods / enhancements and I'll play around with those later, but my dots still have > 50% chance to crit... and thats with me being too lazy to pop valorous call (outside of zen + inspiration). Yes, higher crit would be nice, but I honestly can't complain as far as my dps output goes.
  14. I love the attack, it's great for hitting multiple targets and it actually averages higher single target damage than slash in watchman spec. This has a pretty significant impact on single target dps, especially now thatfocus management is so much tighter with merciless slash on a 5 second cool down. the ability to use a free attack that does 30% more damage than slash every 18 seconds is pretty nice. It also manages decent damage to (I believe) an unlimited number of targets which can be pretty amazing in the right circumstances. So while it's hardly earth shattering, it's better than having to just spam cyclone slash until force sweep is off cooldown. Oh, and it is by far the best looking new ability that has been added.
  15. I was just thinking about this last night when getting my 8th toon to lvl 50 (only leveled 2 during double xp weekends). Basically an option or legacy perk that gives a boost of 10 - 15% xp per level 50 in your legacy. So if I decided to roll another toon at this point, it would be about the same as the double xp weekends. The reason I suggest this is at this point there is very little enjoyment in playing through the same content again and again. The class quests are still enjoyable, but everything else has been done so many times it's just grinding through crap I don't care about. This way the exact same content gets progressively quicker to move through and rewards people who are willing to put in the time and effort to level multiple toons.
  16. Toester, Gunnery Mando with 2085.79 over 7m 45s http://www.torparse.com/a/175478/time/1364534262/1364534727/0/Overview
  17. Slightly different idea from all the standard legacy bank requests. A specific unlock for crafting mats, legacy wide. one time unlock of CC or 1m+ credits for an extra bay that has 1 tab for each type of crafting materials. The bay is presorted (icon remains with a value of 0) and can have 999 or 9999 items per stack.
  18. Sentinel 31/3/7, 2131.85 dps http://www.torparse.com/a/153267/time/1362470586/1362470909/0/Overview Missing hazmat ear, not running a clicky power relic (too lazy) and rakata might stim and adrenal. Also pretty damn tired so I'm inconsistent throughout.
  19. I personally run DF/Sab hybrid for PVE and sharpshooter for pvp. Running TFB HM last night I was keeping pace with a full 63 geared sentinel for all single target fights and anything with adds was just that much easier for me to pull ahead. There is decent mobility in hybrid, but considering the reliance on Sabotage Charge and Shock Charge it's not quite as mobile as full DF spec. As far as PVP, I've tried DF for a bit but switched to Sharpshooter a while back and absolutely love it. Again, it's not fully mobile, but there's a ton of moving around required to keep dps up. Also, you don't want to be out of cover very long with all the smash monkeys running around. Basically I can crouch, smugglers luck, instant crit charged burst, reduced cast time on aimed shot, trick shot and unless they have a pocket healer I'm ready to drop quickdraw and finish it. Aimed shot also has a 10m knockback which is very helpful. Shorter cast time on flyby, as well as reduced cooldown, and a ton of other utility. But I honestly just love it for the burst.
  20. Honestly I would recommend Biochem > Cybertech > Artifice / Armstech > Armormech / Synthweaving. This is actually the order I chose for my toons. Biochem (diplomacy / bioanalysis) is useful first time through in having reusable medpacks/stims as well as implants and makes the initial experience a lot easier. Cybertech (scavenging / underworld trading) gives you armorings/mods/ear pieces, helping you level and get some good end game schems if you want. Artifice (treasure hunting / archeology) gives you hilts and enhancements, armstech (investigation / scavenging) gives you barrels and augments. I would lean toward artifice for the enhancements. Armormech (scavenging) and Synthweaving (archaeology) give you some gear but mostly it's significantly cheaper augmentation kit components than armstech and priority really comes down to which type of augments you need. As far as picking armormech specifically to craft your own armor... anything you might want can be found on GTN pretty damn cheap, and you will make peanuts compared to just selling mats from diplomacy / underworld trading / slicing.
  21. I just find this thread funny because I have a 50 sage I jokingly named Sagetank.
  22. If you are new to tanking and uncertain of your ability, then you shouldn't be running hm fps. Start out with the sm ones. Generally people take things a lot slower and actually want to kill all the mobs for xp. That's where you want to start, then if you are still uncomfortable, pick and chose flashpoints... there are quite a few where it's hard to skip trash. As far as dps running ahead... just open with a nice "hello everyone... by the way, you pull it, you tank it." Main thing is, be straight forward and honest with the group... don't run in acting like you know everything if you don't. Tell them "hey, I'm new to tanking, can someone else show me the path and try not to pull?" I've found most of the people to be very accommodating in this game if you give them a chance to be. The other thing to remember is you are playing a game for your enjoyment, but so is everyone else. The majority of the people I've seen don't enjoy doing the story in flashpoints... for the most part they don't really enjoy doing flashpoints in general, but the bh comms are nice. If you have certain preferences that place you in the minority of players, then find a guild that caters to that. I enjoy flashpoints with guildies when we try to break things... last night I did LI HM and managed to down sav-rak without him using one smash. Our Vanguard tank specced dps on Dr Lorrick so we could down him before he used 1 kolto tank. That is what I find fun... being able to break the mechanics in a fp or op, the complete opposite of the OP.
  23. I don't know what the huge issue is. I attempted these before I got the tier 7 gear and managed to complete new kov ice field and the escort mission... after quite a few attempts. Since updating to tier 7 on all my toons (5 50's) I've only failed one mission and that's because I was focusing on guild chat. The key is moving around constantly and knowing when to use the 4 abilities. As far as limited rewards... I think it was Saturday night I still had the weekly on 5 toons and 4 had the Regnant Station Assault. I completed all those and when I got up Sunday morning the weekly was back up again. So in ~2 1/2 hours play time I managed to pull 68 bh comms, 170 daily comms and 1360 fleet comms. I didn't trade in the fleet comms yet, but 6 boxes, 50% chance of stabalizers, with an average of 2 per box means I should get 6 molecular stabalizers and 6 synthetic energy matrix. Doesn't sound like limited rewards to me.
  24. I think it would be a great move, at least until there is actually a stable build of the client.. if there was a 1 - 2 minute dc timer in warzones before you are kicked. I'm getting kinda tired of having a random crash to desktop with a few minutes left in the warzone and having nothing to show for the last 10 minutes I spent.
  25. If you have multiple 50's the easiest thing to do is Ilum dailies. I think I can normally run everything in right around 20 minutes per toon (soloing darkness). So 400k in an hour and 20 minutes. Next is black hole, same 20 minutes for ~80k each. I vendor all greens and gtn all blues, and I think I've gotten 3 schems for magenta crystals in the 3 months I've been doing this which can be sold for ~400k each on my server. Another thing is to play the GTN. There's plenty of people who sell 340 crafting missions for 4320 (default price). If it's slicing or underworld trading, you can resell for almost 10x that. There are plenty of items going up for the default price, you just have to be looking for them. There's tons of ways to make credits in this game, you just have to look for it. Another possibility is grab around 6 people (columi or so) and kill the first 9 or 10 trash groups in TFB. It'd take you maybe 20 minutes and net 35-40k and possibly a stabalizer (~200k).
