  1. My Jedi Knight will trade himself for a captured Jedi council, and be publicly beaten, bloodied, tortured for all information, and eventually gutted all on the holonet to prove that nobody fights the emperor and lives.
  2. I can understand the desire, but you're missing out on the best part of the game. Rushing to end game is a horrible idea for SWTOR. You'd be skipping all of the good story in favor of a gear grind.
  3. If you gather the farmable materials from planets to craft items with, then you won't lose any credits doing so, unless you are making prototype and artifact level items, in which case you will need to gather the respective item from underworld trading, which costs credits. The higher the level of the item, the more credits it will cost to do the mission. The trick here is that you will have to do underworld trading missions consistently to keep up the material levels with your schematics, which can drain your credits quite easily. I recommend playing PVP warzones while doing the underworld trading missions, as the credits you gain from the warzone will always be more than what you spend, giving you a profit essentially. If you don't like PVP that much, then you might want to wait until 50 when you can grind daily missions for large amounts of credits.
  4. Definitely go madness spec Assassin then. You'll have enough DPS from lightsaber and force powers separately to kill most weak, standard, and some strong enemies, but you WILL have to use both for elite and higher level enemies. Overall, there isn't a single class in the game with access to both that has enough power in either lightsaber or force powers to kill every enemy in the game without using the other alongside it. If that's what you're looking for, you are out of luck.
  5. Well, the Sorcerer of course hardly uses their lightsaber, but that's because it's a 30m ranged class. The assassin on the other hand is a melee class, but uses force powers quite a bit. No matter what build you go, you'll be switching between using lightsaber attacks and force powers like slow, lightning, shock, crushing darkness, and even adding a specific force charge to your lightsaber depending on the build. So no, it is not a pure lightsaber class. Even the warrior's advanced classes aren't pure lightsaber. If you want a force power/lightsaber build, go with assassin and make a madness build. It's perfect for you, and works very well in any group.
  6. My favorite line is still from the BH story, at the end of chapter 1.
  7. If he gets a role, Jedi robes will be changed to ballet outfits and lightsabers to butterfly nets to match his previous acting career better.
  8. I find it hilarious that this guy is leveling and needing FP gear for his comps. It's completely unnecessary. The companion specific gear you get from missions is more than enough to keep your companions viable in solo PvE. It's much better to get presence buffs through datacrons and legacy than it is to use FP gear for them.
  9. After you hit 50, I strongly recommend just doing the dailies every now and then to earn credits, then create another character and go through another story. The operations are fun, but frustrating if you don't have an organised group. PVP at 50 is just an unbalanced gear grind (at least to me anyway).
  10. At level 39, there isn't much you can do to earn quick credits. Crafting could do it, but there isn't as much of a market for low tier items as there is for high tier (at least on The Harbinger). The best thing to do right now is to enjoy yourself until you hit 50, when you unlock the Belsavis, Ilum, and Black Hole series, which will get you daily comms, and about 10K credits per quest. Also note that these quests reset every morning at 7:00 CST. Just don't rush to 50. It's not worth it, believe me.
  11. You don't need a specific amount of darkside points, you just need to have more darkside points than lightside points. Also, you can romance her after killing both Yonlach and her parents. I haven't done a playthrough as darkside while sparing them, so it might be different for you.
  12. 1. Shadows of the Empire 2. Battlefront 2 3. Knights of the Old Republic 4. Jedi Outcast 5. The Old Republic 6. Rogue Squadron 7. The Force Unleashed 8. Battlefront 9. Republic Commando 10. Empire at War I would put Galactic Warfare on this list, but it's a mod instead of a full blown game.
  13. I currently have mine set up as: Q, E, F, R, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, X, C, V. I would recommend using a modifier key such as Shift or Control, depending on which your hand feels more comfortable with. Switch your turn keys to strafe, and instead get used to using the mouse to turn. It's much quicker, and is more accurate. Doing this will allow you to easily kite enemies in PvP and throw off their accuracy. It can also work extremely well in operations with AOE effects on the ground. And if you run out of keys to use, you can use another modifier key, or you can buy a Razer Naga mouse. Those are $80 though, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you absolutely need it. This setup will take awhile to get used to, it took me a few days of screwing up in game, but it was worth it over all for better gameplay. Just stay away from FP's and PvP until you have it down.
