  4. Tried to send a message to support@swtor.com several times, but it keeps blocking them as spam.
  5. Fair enough. But now it's an interesting situation when some players can do something that's against game's harassment policy, but sending tickets doesn't work and now this.
  6. Forum bot removed one of my messages with another video of Kort doing his usual dirty stuff, lmao Anyway, I have recording of another match when he actually opened his mouth and stated that he's right because we as players are abusing vote kicks to remove those who don't want to actually play this game mode, but are here only for conquest points. This is unhealthy.
  7. The biggest problem is that players begin to stop trying when they see a known SDer. I sent a ticket with match recording once, but ofc no one watched it. Kort and their 'buddies' are still here and BW seemingly doesn't care. https://youtu.be/Xjg-48mJX3A - well then, we eventually will get smth like this much more often.
  8. Fun in GSF Episode VIII: https://youtu.be/ki_rjSxw33k
  9. Forgot to mention in the first post. Mines and missile drone rockets have insta-lock.
  10. That's true, but I still state that on more or less same skill level gunships are weaker in close range then any strike or scout. They just have less hp and shields than strikes. They don't have access to some disables like EMPf or RS. Scouts have more evasion than gunships. And most importantly, gunships don't have the initiative when it comes to close range. You're right about how it works with lesser skilled pilots, but the problem is that they are lesser skilled. That's the basics of map awareness. And let's be true, it's not that hard to guess which area will be the one under gunships' focus. And try to figure out the ways to use that in your favor. If some people want to play it dumb, like engaging in a chaotic fight in open space mid-area of the map, it's their fault, and I'm against the idea that they should be able to do so without penalties. That can say something about you and your skill, alright, but I don't understand how it should say something about ship class. When I'm running strike or scout and go against a 'lesser skilled' gunship pilot, they can't do anything. They can hit Barrel Roll, I will follow them and kill them. If some other player will make me go to open space area when they can shoot me, they can shoot me. This can be even called a team play, though unintentional. But it's alright. Overall, gunships don't have mathematical advantage over other ships, by stats. They are overpowered when no one pays attention to them. That doesn't mean that gunship is broken class. That means that players in the enemy team should play better.
  11. Probably make them look different then other mines and drones on the map, for the start. But some ppl tell where they put a drone in the chat, at least. Not only the medals, but pvp challenges are still broken, from what I know, it's more than a month already.
  12. Switching between railguns and lasers is the same thing as switching between lasers and missiles. Missiles need time to lock, railgun needs time to charge. Missile can be evaded by engine ability or Distortion Field, railgun shot can be missed. And even if you didn't miss, Evasion can nullify your efforts. Also, and it was stated in this topic before, gunships will lose at close range fight to any strike or scout, if both ships were at full hp and ammo. Gunships have less hp, their arsenal in close fight is limited to lasers (well, some players can fire a railgun in close range, but we're talking about average level, I guess). It can have more evasion than strike with Disto, sure, but then it is more vulnerable to missiles. But if you came to gunship being red after a railgun shot, it can finish you because if was a dumb play, the same as letting a gunship to freecast in good position. Hence, if someone says that there is no risk at playing gunships, that someone hasn't played them enough.
  13. Maybe someone on your or enemy team left the match after it started, so the 30s timer has started a countdown again.
  14. Critique is offered to something that is taken seriously. I'm still talking about 30s immobility because that is the perfect display of why this topic should not be taken seriously. Because you geniunely believed that this would balance 'easy mode gunships'. You waste everyone's time. Not a single person, at this moment, has said anything in approval of this idea here. Instead of 'improving' unbalanced game mechanics you should improve your understanding of what game you're playing. You read the word 'dogfighting' and decided that GSF should be about this and this only. You're narrow-minded. BW can remove gunships from the game, I don't mind. I'll probably continue to play with what's left. My access to low skill kills keeps staying as long as you play anyway. You're not the first and definitely not the last to brag about easy kills and no skill. I mean, I just see the reason of all this, you can bring tons of text walls but the point of this always takes just a few words.
  15. Oh dear. First of all, you didn't ask a question, you made a statement. And your statement is nonsense. For a gunship it would generally take 2 shots to kill another gunship - one Ion, one Slug. Some builds would require a third shot indeed, but most of the times, judging by my experience, it is two. My suggestion is that you should forget about these ideas. It will take approximately 4-5s (after firing a missile) to destroy all three turrets with EMP missile and lasers. After that, by what you propose, there is absolutely no possibility to defend yourself from these. So the question remains - how's that balanced? Remove gunships, alright, GSF have so many ships classes, we can erase one. But in what universe these torpedoes with 30s of inability to move for gunships after entering snipe mode is balanced for gunships? I don't have such a problem with gunships when I play against them, because I don't rush into a swarm of ships with tunnel vision. How many games have you played on gunship? How many times there at least someone went after you? You can throw "you're wrong" stuff all day long, but the issue is that you should have the experience and knowledge of the things you say. I don't see that.
  16. But, my friend, gunships are killed with the same 1-2 shots. Do u need 30s to kill a gunship? What's the point of this? My enemies can just run away from me and I need to wait 30s until I can switch my position while everyone else will know I'm basically defenseless? How's that balanced? You will just send your torpedoes at a satellite and all defenders are dead. How's that balanced? Once the missile is fired, you can't stop it without using the engine ability, btw. Asteroids and other obstacles have nothing to do with that, because the missile flight is just an animation. Stop talking nonsense.
