So,
I've played a few classes but nothing to 55 yet. I have a level 30some Sith Warrior, a level 43 Bounty Hunter, and a level 25 Jedi Knight. On both of the Empire characters I have gone full dark side and it has been a blast. Being a ruthless juggernaut Sith Lord feels very awesomely cheesy Star Wars villain like, and being a cold-hearted killing BH also feels just right when credits are the only thing my character cares about. Also, being a goody-two-shoes JK also feels straight out of the movies accurate (although the voice could be a little less pansy like).
However, the Imperial Agent is a different beast all together.
I am trying to get a general FEEL for the agent, and what Dark Side/Light Side means during his story. At level 25, I have not yet really figured out the "pattern" yet (if that makes sense?). What I guess I'm trying to ask is, which is which? Does dark side mean siding with the Sith Lords and ignoring the greater good/needs of the Imperials/Empire? Does light side mean giving the Sith a middle finger and going with what is the greater/long term good for the Empire?
I am trying to play my Agent as a ruthless "cares only about getting the job done no matter what in the name of the Empire" type guy. But it seems that "ruthless" and "for the empire" are separate beasts in the story so far. I want to shoot unarmed witnesses in the head after they are used up, but still have my character respect the Sith with a "Yes, my lord" every once in a while, but at the same time I don't want to be a pushover to them and the needs of Intelligence/the Empire come first.
Without spoiling anything for me...Is this possible? Is the best way to achieve this is to stay neutral? What is the Dark Side/Light Side pattern for the IA?
Thanks!
